Abstract

This study aims to: (1) produce physics learning by using Project Based Learning (PjBL) with the assistance of E lerning Chamilo media that is appropriate to increase students' understanding of physics concepts during a pandemic, (2) to find out how high the understanding of physics concepts is by using learning Project Based Learning (PjBL) Assisted by Media E Lerning Chamilo, (3) find out how high the understanding of students' concept understanding in learning physics is increased by using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model assisted by E Lerning Chamilo's media. The subjects in this study were 108 students of SMA Negeri 1 Kejayan Class MIA 4, MIA 5 and MIA 6. This study uses the Project Based Learning (PjBL) method assisted by Media E Lerning Chamilo. Defining is the initial stage of developing learning based on task analysis and concept analysis. Design is the second stage of the development of this learning which aims to produce an initial design of thE-Learning to be developed. The next stage is development which consists of testing the first stage including validation from the validator. the second stage of testing, namely the trial phase includes student responses to learning, along with giving interest questionnaires and also pretest and posttest questions. The data analysis technique used to analyze each data is the conversion of quantitative to qualitative values for the validation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning assisted by the E Lerning Chamilo media and the conversion of quantitative to qualitative values and normalized gain for interest data and student tests. The results of the development of this media show that: 1) E Lerning Chamilo based physics learning media is suitable for use as a physics learning medium with the subject of momentum, impulse, and collision. 2) the use of Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning media assisted by E Lerning Chamilo media can increase students with a gain value of 4.10 (high category).

Abstract

This type of research is descriptive qualitative research conducted in the village of Patondonsalu, Enrekang Regency, focusing on the communication literacy model in the Tudang Sipulung culture. The results showed that the communication literacy model in the implementation of culture tudang sipulung in the Patondonsalu village is fine enough because it has fulfilled elements: identification topic/subject, target audience, relevant formats, types source; exploration sources, and information appropriate to the topic; organization, evaluation and compiling information according to the logical arrangement, distinguishing among facts and opinions, and uses visual tool aids for comparing and contrasting information; (who); (what is said); (communication channel); (to whom); and with what effect (element of influence/effect) or what is the effect of the communication. However, the applied communication literacy model is not yet maximum because there is not yet relevant selection and recording information, the creation information not yet well done, presentation, dissemination or display of information from results activity tudang sipulung also out yet there. Then output appraisal, based on other people input from implementation culture tudang sipulung still very low and almost no at once

Abstract

The unique characteristic of a metal material can be determined from the value of Young's modulus which represents the ability of the material to deform in response to an external force given to the material. This study aims to determine the value of Young's modulus for three metal wires (copper, nickel, and steel) and the percentage of measurement errors using a self-designed Young's modulus kit equipped with a load cell sensor and speed sensor encoder. The measurement of Young's modulus was carried out in five experiments without any variation in diameter (the diameter was fixed and the same for all metals), and the results were compared with the reference values. The results showed that the values of Young's modulus for copper, nickel, and steel wires were 11.74 x 1010 N/m2, 21.63 x 1010 N/m2, and 20.84 x 1010 N/m2, respectively. The difference between the measured values and the reference values for Young's modulus for copper, nickel, and steel wires were 6.7%, 3.0%, and 4.18%, respectively. The small differences between the measured values and the reference values indicate that the measurement approach approximates the reference values and can be used to support other measurements involving Young's modulus values of a metal material

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate acceptance by archivists of the SIMARDI archive application developed specifically for archive management and classification of archives from public institutions and private individuals. The application provides systematic and structured processing capabilities that enable archivists to effectively manage records, control high-level file management systems, and track archived data quickly and accurately. The methodology used in this study is the Technology Adoption Model (TAM). It has been shown to be effective in describing and predicting user acceptance of technology. The study was conducted by collecting data through questionnaires completed by 30 SIMARDI application users. This questionnaire was designed to measure archivist perceptions of the SIMARDI program and the factors that influence their use of the application. The results showed that archivists positively accepted the SIMARDI application. Usability reached 74%, usability 72.57%, and technology acceptance 73.80%. The study recommends that SIMARDI application developers focus on improving usability variables that score poorly. The results of this research will help increase user adoption not only for government and private organizations looking to implement efficient and user-friendly filing systems, but also for application developers

Abstract

The development of technological advances also contributed to the advancement of Internet technology. Where the Internet is one of the needs that is considered important in all fields, this is evidenced by the number of Internet users from 2020 to 2023 having a significant increase. Lexima Consultant as one of the institutions engaged in information system creation services, of course, requires an internet connection. However, there are several obstacles faced, one of which is the absence of a load balancing and failover network system which sometimes makes the need for internet access with large bandwidth allocations to be disrupted and even cut off. Implementing the right technique at the Lexima Consultant office for sending data packets as the main factor supporting activities is certainly very much needed. In the research conducted, a load balancing technique was used using the ECMP method to optimize network performance and avoid internet network disturbances. From the research conducted, it can be concluded that the implementation of the load balancing method using the ECMP method has been able to divide connection paths and failover can run properly, so the possibility of disruption in the form of a network connection loss will be very small

Abstract

The use of coal as fuel has experienced several obstacles, one of which is the formation of Slagging (crust). Slagging is formed by the melting point of coal ash or low ash fusion temperature, caused by low levels of Al2O3 in coal ash. The addition of synthetic zeolite to coal before use is intended to increase the level of Al2O3, so that it will increase  the ash fusion temperature  of coal ash. The  increase in ash fusion temperature also causes an increase in the slagging index of coal. With the high increase in  the slagging index obtained, the lower the potential for the formation of slagging. The smaller the potential  of Slagging formed, the use of coal also decreases. This study aims to determine the effect of adding waste-based synthetic zeolite to coal  ash on increasing coal slagging index. Research uses a type of experimental research. Itis collected by conducting laboratory tests, namely making observations and direct testing of samples with variations in the addition of synthetic zeolite to coal by 5%, 10%, and 15%. The results showed that synthetic zeolite added to coal was able to reduce the potential for slagging formation. Slagging index from the results of research for oxidation conditions is a standard sample of 1,246oC, SBZ5 by 1,242oC, SBZ10 by 1,250oC, and SBZ15 by 1,274oC. Reduction conditions i.e. standard sample of 1,130oC, SBZ5 by 1,116oC, SBZ10 by 1,136oC, and SBZ15 by 1,168oC. SBZ15 sample is a variation that has a  good slagging index, which is for oxidation conditions which is 1,274oC, and for reduction conditions that is 1,168oC

Abstract

The high level of competition in the world of welding services business today makes the welding workshop entrepreneurs struggle hard to optimize the human resources as the welders own. The task is to recruit a skilled worker. This is due to the fact that the company is able to compete in the world of business services, the manufacturer of welding is very interested in the quality of the product so that the consumer is interested in improving the services offered by the business owner. In this study, to support the results of decision-making made in the recruitment process of welders, the SMARTER method is applied. On the final results of this study can be seen that the results of the application of the SMARTER method for comparison with 5 alternatives that are selected, that is, who obtained the first ranking is Joko with a value of 1.74. Then in the next ranking position is Tian (1.56) as the second ranking, Rian (1.06) third rank, Raden R (0.88) fourth ranking, and Budi Ramadhan (0.36) in the last ranking position
