Abstract

This research was carried out at PT. X is a shipping yard that produces one of them, namely ship blocks. In the implementation of ship block building projects, there is uncertainty in the project's duration, so it needs to be completed by applying the Monte Carlo simulation method. Monte Carlo Simulation is a method used to model and analyze systems with risks and uncertainties. The basis of the Monte Carlo simulation is to conduct experiments on probabilistic elements through random sampling. This study aims to identify the probability of duration and percentage of possibility of the period in a project so that scheduling using Microsoft Project software is more measurable and optimal. Based on the Monte Carlo simulation results in ball software, the fastest duration for the H402 ship block project was obtained, namely 64 days, with a 0% probability of success. The longest time was 83 days with a chance of 100%, and the average duration for 73 days with a possibility of 65%, while the plan duration was 80 days with a probability of 94.7%. Then for the H501A block work, the fastest time produced is 74 days with a chance of 0%, the longest most extended is 82 days with a probability of 100%, and the average duration for 79 days with a possibility of 60-70% while the time of the plan is for 75 days with a probability of 9.8%.

Abstract

Cryptography is the study of mathematical techniques to maintain information security, including the encryption process to protect data and decryption to return it to a readable form. The Rivest Shamir Adleman (RSA) algorithm and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) are two asymmetric key algorithms that are often used. RSA relies on large number factorization for security, while ECC uses elliptic curves that require more complex computation but are more efficient in resource usage. This study aims to compare the performance of the two algorithms in terms of encryption and decryption time, and analyze efficiency based on various key sizes and data amounts. The research method includes measuring encryption and decryption time with different data inputs using RSA and ECC at various key sizes. Experiments were conducted with data inputs of 128-bit to 512-bit and testing was conducted to measure the speed of each algorithm in the same situation. The results showed that RSA was faster in the encryption process than decryption, while ECC had a faster decryption time than encryption. However, the overall processing time for ECC is longer than RSA, especially when the key size is increased. These results provide insight into the advantages and disadvantages of each algorithm, which can be used as a basis for consideration in selecting algorithms for security applications that require high efficiency.

Abstract

Increasing air pollution in DKI Jakarta has become an increasingly pressing environmental issue, which has a direct impact on public health and environmental sustainability. Therefore, it is very important to have a system that manages data-based air pollution levels. The purpose of this research is to classify air quality in DKI Jakarta through Air Pollutant Standard Index (ISPU) data. This data consists of parameters such as dust particles (PM10, PM2.5), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO), surface ozone (O3), and nitrogen dioxide (NO2), as well as two classification algorithms used, namely C4.5 and Naïve Bayes. This research also seeks to compare the effectiveness of the two algorithms based on ISPU data collected in 15 Jakarta areas. The approach used in this research is to divide the data using three ratio scenarios, namely 70% : 30%, 80% : 20%, and 90%: 10%. In addition, performance assessment is carried out using accuracy, precision, recall and f1 score metrics. The experimental results showed better performance of C4.5, with an average accuracy of 95%, precision of 99%, recall of 94% and f1-score of 97%. In contrast, Naïve Bayes recorded an average accuracy of 81%, precision of 93%, recall of 73% and f1-score of 82%. These findings corroborate the validity of the C4. 5 algorithm is more effective in air quality classification based on ISPU, thus making it a reliable resource for air quality monitoring and management in DKI Jakarta, as well as supporting decision-making in air pollution control policies.
