Abstract

The analysis of hospitality accommodation data in the province of Bali can provide deeper knowledge and insights into how the hotel industry contributes to Bali's tourism and overall economy. Information about the development of hotel accommodations in the province of Bali is crucial to understand the types, numbers, and distribution of hotels in the region, using visualized data obtained. The purpose of this article is to describe the data on the development of budget and star hotels in the province of Bali during and after the Covid-19 pandemic, specifically from the years 2019 to 2022, using Business Intelligence visualizations. The methodology employed in this article includes a literature review analysis and data processing obtained from the Bali Provincial Tourism Department. The data is processed using the Tableau Public platform. From the data presented, it is evident that the Regency of Badung has the highest number of budget and star hotels spread across the province of Bali, while the Regency of Bangli has the least. The government of Bali province, along with its community, must work together to develop tourism in each region to maximize the tourism potential in the province of Bali.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the influential factors in the economy of Indonesia. In general, tourism refers to the journey undertaken by an individual within a certain period from one place to another. The tourism potential in Indonesia has been rapidly growing, especially since the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on this issue, the author attempts to find data regarding the distribution of tourist locations in the Province of Bali to identify the potential for sustainable tourism in each area. Once the data is collected, the author visualizes it to make it easily understandable and to serve as a reference for the equitable distribution of tourism potential in Bali. Tableau, a data visualization tool, is used to create various types of diagrams and maps. The research results indicate that the tourist attractions Penglipuran, Goa Lawah, and Jatiluwih are the top three with the highest ratings. Bali zoo, GWK, and Kuta Beach are the three tourist attractions with the most reviews on Google. This Tableau visualization can assist tourists in determining their desired travel destinations.

Abstract

Prediction of student graduation plays an important role in college programs to help students stay high-achieving and graduate on time, as well as produce the best graduates. Information about the number of students graduating in college plays a significant role in decision-making through visual representation of data. This article aims to describe data on student graduation predictions in college through visual representation using Business Intelligence and Tableau tools with data from www.kaggle.com. The results of this research are presented in the form of a dashboard that includes GPA, academic achievement, organizational involvement, and gender in college, which can be used to support decision-making. Visualizing data through analysis using an interactive Tableau dashboard is expected to make information more engaging and easily understandable. Predicted students who graduate on time have adequate GPA, participate in campus activities, and are mostly male.

Abstract

Based on data obtained from BMKG Pekanbaru City in 2010-2020 there was an increase anddecrease in the intensity of rainfall that occurred in Pekanbaru city. The increase in rainfall in thecity of Pekanbaru will cause problems such as the occurrence of flooding of several roads and severalareas in the city of Pekanbaru and the occurrence of other unexpected disasters that will causeproblems and experience difficulties. In overcoming this problem, research was conducted in the formof Rainfall Prediction in Pekanbaru City Using LSTM (Long Short Term Memory) using 2 methods,namely in finding the accuracy of the error rate using RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) and MSE(Mean Square Error). The results showed that the predictions made were quite good. With the lowesterror rate of 21,328 in the train and 454,901 in the test, the composition of the train data and the testdata half gave the best results.

Abstract

Higher education is one of the organizations that has a pretty complicated business process, in which each department has the obligation to coordinate closely with one another, exchange data, make reports, conduct calculations, and make executive summaries as material for leaders to use in the formation of policies. On the other hand, certain industries have developed information systems that are constructed in a distinct manner in accordance with the business processes that are carried out. Because of this, the data that is stored will not be uniform. As a result, the planning of information systems that integrate college business functions requires the use of enterprise architecture. The Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) method, which has been customized to fit within the Zachman framework, is the approach that is taken. This study will ultimately result in the production of a blueprint that will serve as the basis for the planning of an information system. The research was carried out over the course of seven stages. The initial phase of the research into the EAP and the Zachman framework, which focuses on the literature. The second stage is the gathering of data, which consists of making firsthand observations at universities and conducting interviews with the director of the SIMFOKOM UIR division. In the third stage, you will initiate the planning that will decide the scope of the EAP, as well as the initialization of the college's vision and mission statements. In the fourth stage, a business modeling analysis will be carried out. The fifth step provides an overview of the present circumstances at the college. This is the sixth step of the planning process for the data architecture, application architecture, and technology architecture. The final step is developing a strategy for carrying out the decisions made during the architectural planning stage. The findings of this research were presented in the form of blueprints, which may be utilized by businesses for the purpose of system planning in educational institutions.
