Abstract

Prescription is a written request from a doctor to a pharmacist to provide drugs for patients written in the prescription. For in accordance with applicable laws and regulations to minimize irrational use of drugs and preventmedication errors for patient safety purposes. The purpose of this study was to describe Description the completeness of prescriptions for inpatients at the Pharmacy Installation HKBP Balige General Hospital period of July 2020. The design of this study was descriptive, with a sample of 186 prescriptions, using a cluster random sampling technique. The results showed that 46.2% of prescriptions at the Balige HKBP RSU for the July 2020  period were complete and 53.8% incomplete. Of the total 186 prescription sheets, the information on the doctor's name (27.4%), the doctor's initial (5.9%), the patient's name (0.5%), the patient's address (36.6%), the instructions for use (10,2%). This shows that the completeness of the recipe at RSU HKBP Balige is not complete. Incomplete prescriptions occur because many visiting patients increase the busyness of the prescriber, so doctors do not have time to write a complete prescription. It is recommended to the management of RSU HKBP Balige to put more emphasis on doctors to complete prescriptions, so that TTK does not find incomplete prescriptions anymore.

Abstract

Excessive use of gadgets in children can have a negative effect on children's cognitive and emotional development. The results of the APJII survey (Association of Indonesian Internet Service Providers) explain that the penetration of internet users in Indonesia is increasing every year. From the BPS survey, it was found that internet users aged 10-14 years amounted to 8.31% in 2019. Research Objectives: To determine the relationship between the use of gadgets and the emotional intelligence of school-age children (10-12 years) during the Covid-19 pandemic at SD Negeri 59 Palemban. This study used a cross sectional design. Samples were taken according to the inclusion criteria, totaling 60 respondents with Stratified Random Sampling. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate analysis, namely, Chi-Square test. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that children who have low levels of gadget use and emotional intelligence are sufficient, there are 15 respondents (45.5%) out of 33 respondents, lower when compared to children who use gadgets high and emotional intelligence is sufficient, there are 24 respondents (88.9%) ) of 27 respondents. The results of the Chi-Square test obtained p-value = 0.001 (α ≤ 0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the use of gadgets and the emotional intelligence of children aged 10-12 years during the Covid-19 pandemic at SDN 59 Palembang in 2021. There is a relationship between the use of gadgets on the emotional intelligence of school-age children (10-12 years)

Abstract

Jackfruit leaves (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam.) was tested for its antibacterial activity against a human pathogenic bacterium, Staphylococcus aureus in vitro. Jackfruit leaves were collected from a forest region in the Toba Regency, North Sumatra and air-dried for five days. The dried leaves were crushed into powder to obtain simplicia and macerated using EtOH. The crude extracts were concentrated in vacuo using a rotary-evaporator and diluted into various concentrations (25, 50, 75, 100%) for antibacterial assay. The results showed that the antibacterial activity of extracts followed a concentration-dependent manner with the highest inhibition as expressed in the diameter of inhibitor zone reached 19 mm. The MIC50 value generated from a linear regression analysis between diameter of inhibition zone and concentration was determined at 10% of extract to display its effective concentration. The findings may be further investigated through phytochemical analysis and the selection of different organic solvents to maximize the bioactivity of jackfruit from this region.

Abstract

Food is one of the human needs in everyday life. As a basic need, these foods must contain nutrients to be able to fulfill this function and be safe. Preservatives and dyes seem to be inseparable from various types of processed food and beverages. The purpose of this study was to determine the presence or absence of borax and formalin in food sold at the Laguboti Market. Based on Permenkes Number 033 of 2012 concerning food additives, borax is not allowed in food. If borax and formalin are consumed by humans, it will have a negative impact on the body. This study used a descriptive method, namely the scientific method and the simple method and was carried out in July at the Chemistry Laboratory of STIKes Arjuna Laguboti with a total sample of 14 food samples purchased from different food vendors at the Laguboti Market. Based on the results of a qualitative analysis on borax using the scientific method and the simple method obtained from 3 meatball samples and 3 rice cake samples, none of the meatballs contained borax. In formalin Using the scientific method and simple methods obtained from 5 samples of tofu and 3 samples of wet noodles containing formalin.

Abstract

Anemia Is a medical condition where the number of red blood cells  or hemoglobin is less than normal. Normal hemoglobin levels are generally different in men and women. For men anemia is usually defined as a hemoglobin less than 12.0 gram/ 100 ml. According to  world health organization (WHO), the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in the world is 35-37 %. Based on the research results of basic health ( Riskesdas) the incidence of anemia in indonesia is still increasing, there are 48,9 % of pregnant women who have anemia. This study aims to determine the factors related to the nutrition of pregnant women with the incidence of anemia this type of cross-sectional design research is to determine the factors associated with the incidence of anemia with a sample of 40 respondents. The sampling technique uses total sampling, collecting data in the form of observation sheets and scales to assess the increase in body weight. Statistical tests using the chi-square test. The results of statistical test analysis show that the age of P-value =0,000, parity P-value=0,000, education level P-value=0,001, nutritional status P-value =0,000, the conclusion of this study is that all four variables have and association with anemia suggestions in this study are expected so that pregnant women can understand and understand the causes of anemia

Abstract

Hypnosis has been used to deal with acute and chronic pain, anxiety, and other positive benefits before, during and after surgery. But in the field, hypnosis was still a little used even there were still many who doubt its effectiveness. We conducted an article review in English using keywords: hypnosis, anesthesia, surgery, with a time span since 1846 until 2019, with 20 articles selected on Google Scholar, PubMed, Science Direct, and The National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (PNRI) portal.Mesmerism hypnosis and ericsonian hypnosis have been used for anesthesia, since prior to the discovery of chemical anesthesia, the use of chemical anesthesia has made hypnosis no longer used as the main anesthetic in surgery, but in certain cases such as patients with multiple chemical sensitivity or patients with contra-indications of general anesthesia , hypnosis was still used as the main anesthetic in surgery, hypnosis was currently widely used in perioperative, the use of hypnosis with chemical anesthesia can increase its benefits, and there were no reports of side effects. Hypnosis can be used as a major anesthetic, further research with a good design such as a randomized control trial about the use of hypnosis as anesthesia.
