Abstract

Abstract Volleyball game sport that is enjoyed around the world, not only by men only, this time many women has a lot to love this game even be athletes. It can be played by the different walks of life, ranging from the lower classes to the upper classes. However, there are differences in the values ??of basic aspects. One of them is how to perform service right down levels. In this study, researchers wanted to determine the increase of students at the time before and after the service below given direct instruction. Researchers used the study population given the total population of less than 100. So that the research sample in this research is all eighth grade students who totaled 65 students. Data collection techniques in this study by using test and measurement, the variables studied were the results of studying the subject of physical education volleyball. Based on the results of the calculation are known under the services performed by the students had an average standard deviation of 70,36 and 10,89. while the results of the t-test at significance level of 0,05 with degrees of freedom (df) 65-1 = 64 can be seen the value of t-count is greater than t-table value (17,313 > 1,990). Therefore, it can be concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. So the application of direct instructional model and influence to improve learning outcomes in service under the volleyball in the eighth grade students of SMP N 1 Glagah. Abstract

Penelitian Konsep ta’dib KH Hasyim Asyari: aktualisasi kebijakan sistem pendidikan nasional bertujuan; 1)memerinci konsep ta’dib KH Hasyim Asy’ari dalam kitab Adabu ‘Alim Wal Muta’allim, 2)menganalisis dan memperpadukan konsep ta’dib KH Hasyim Asy’ari sebagai aktualisasi kebijakan Sisdiknas. Metode penelitian kualitatif studi pustaka menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian: 1)prinsip-prinsip konsep ta’dib KH. Hasyim Asy’ari; menitikberatkan pada pendidikan; keutamaan ilmu, ulama, dan proses belajar mengajar. Konsep ta’dib bagi peserta didik; ta’dib peserta didik terhadap dirinya, pendidik, dan proses pembelajaran. Konsep ta’dib bagi pendidik; ta’dib pendidik terhadap dirinya sendiri, kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM), dan peserta didik. Konsep ta’dib terhadap literasi dan tradisi ilmiah. Hal ini ditekankan antara pendidik dan peserta didik pentingnya adab sebelum ilmu dan hubungan harmonis antara pendidik dan peserta didik. 2)konsep ta’dib sangat relevan dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional yang diatur dalam UU Nomor 20 Tahun 2003. Sehingga kebijakan pendidikan karakter tidak hanya berfokus pada penguasaan akademis, tetapi juga pada pembentukan kepribadian yang mulia, moralitas, dan tanggung jawab sosial, sejalan dengan pilar-pilar Gerakan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK). Serta aktualisasi dengan melakukan tradisi ilmiah dan memperkaya literasi; yakni membentuk jiwa pembelajar tidak hanya di peruntukan kepada peserta didik saja namun pendidik juga dituntut untuk selalu menggali dan mengasah kemampuan dan keahliannya.

Abstract

Ditemukan rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Pakuniran yang ditunjukkan oleh minimnya partisipasi aktif dan ketidakpedulian terhadap proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Pakuniran II dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti melalui media pembelajaran Canva. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yang masing-masing meliputi tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi, dengan 18 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Canva dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Pada siklus pertama, 60% siswa menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi. Pada siklus kedua, motivasi siswa meningkat lebih signifikan, dengan 83% siswa menunjukkan keterlibatan yang lebih aktif. Canva sebagai media pembelajaran yang visual dan interaktif membuat siswa lebih kreatif dan memahami materi dengan lebih baik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Canva efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. This study aims to improve the learning motivation of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Pakuniran II in the subject of Islamic Education and Character Education through the use of Canva as a learning medium. The study background stems from students' low motivation, indicated by limited active participation and disengagement during lessons. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages, with 18 students as participants. Results show that Canva increased student motivation. In the first cycle, 60% of students demonstrated improved motivation. In the second cycle, this increased to 83%, with students showing more active engagement. Canva’s visual and interactive approach allowed students to learn creatively and enhance their understanding. This research concludes that Canva is an effective tool for boosting student motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the Malaysian Islamic secondary school (SMA) leaders’ leadership challenges. To respond to the study aim, a qualitative method using interview was applied to seven leaders of Islamic Secondary Schools. The informers were selected based on some criteria such as the length of service as a leader and leadership knowledge. The data that were analysed using thematic analysis reported seven challenges of Malaysian Islamic secondary school leaders’ leadership, namely: (i) lack of knowledge, in particular, the field of school management such as finance, IT, asset, data and information, (ii) lack of management skill to figure out conflicts regarding incentive differences among senior and novice teachers, (iii) lack of collaboration among stakeholders, (iv) need to allocate more finance for the competency development programme such as enhancing novice teachers’ pedagogical skills, (v) Inadequate planning of valuable programme for students residing in hostel, (vi) less concern to support some Ministry of Education’s policies, and (vii) less concern on the changing environment, in particular, the field of pedagogical changes for the post of COVID-19 pandemic. The implication of this study is to be aware for the educational stakeholders, in particular, the school leaders, to take into account this study findings in order to make self-improvement for enhancing the students learning and school achievement

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk karakter, nilai moral, dan orientasi spiritual umat Muslim, bahkan ketika mereka hidup sebagai minoritas di negara-negara Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perkembangan pendidikan Islam di Australia dan Belanda dari aspek historis, struktural, dan ideologis, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan respons sosial-budaya yang menyertainya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka. Sumber data diperoleh dari buku, jurnal ilmiah, disertasi, dan dokumen daring terkait pendidikan Islam di kedua negara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam di Australia telah tumbuh sejak abad ke-17 melalui jalur informal, dan mengalami formalitas institusional sejak tahun 1970-an. Sementara di Belanda, perkembangan signifikan dimulai pada 1980-an dan mencapai pengakuan negara pada awal 2000-an dengan dukungan pendanaan publik. Implikasi dari temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pendidikan Islam dalam sistem nasional negara Barat sangat bergantung pada kolaborasi antara komunitas Muslim, kebijakan negara, dan keberterimaan masyarakat mayoritas terhadap keragaman nilai

Abstract

Food is one of the human needs in everyday life. As a basic need, these foods must contain nutrients to be able to fulfill this function and be safe. Preservatives and dyes seem to be inseparable from various types of processed food and beverages. The purpose of this study was to determine the presence or absence of borax and formalin in food sold at the Laguboti Market. Based on Permenkes Number 033 of 2012 concerning food additives, borax is not allowed in food. If borax and formalin are consumed by humans, it will have a negative impact on the body. This study used a descriptive method, namely the scientific method and the simple method and was carried out in July at the Chemistry Laboratory of STIKes Arjuna Laguboti with a total sample of 14 food samples purchased from different food vendors at the Laguboti Market. Based on the results of a qualitative analysis on borax using the scientific method and the simple method obtained from 3 meatball samples and 3 rice cake samples, none of the meatballs contained borax. In formalin Using the scientific method and simple methods obtained from 5 samples of tofu and 3 samples of wet noodles containing formalin.

Abstract

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) ranks first as a cause of death in the world, more than any other disease. Cardiovascular disease is a non-communicable disease that most often causes death. Cardiovascular disease is still a global health problem. This type of research was conducted descriptively with a retrospective approach which aims to describe the characteristics of patients and heart disease medications in outpatient BPJS patients at HKBP Balige General Hospital based on medical records for the period January-February 2022. The results showed that by gender, namely in 57% for men and 43% for women. Patient characteristics based on age are 26-35 years 3%, 36-45 years 10%, 46-55 years 27%, 56-65 years 28%, 66 years and over as much as 32%. Characteristics based on the type of drug, namely bisoprolol 26%, Candesartan 15%, Furosemide 13%, Spironolactone 10%, Nitokaf Retard 8%, Amlodipine 6%, Digoxin 6%, atorvastatin 5%, Simarc 5%, Aptor 3%, Simvastatin 2%, and ISDN 1%. Conclusion: There are 12 types of drugs used in medical records, including Amlodipine, Furosemide, Spironolactone, Aptor, Simvastatin, Atorvastatin, Bisoprolol, Nitrokaf retard, ISDN, Candesartan, Digoxin, Simarc.

Abstract

Tuak is a type of alcoholic drink made from palm sugar. Continuous excessive consumption of palm wine can increase uric acid levels in the body. Uric acid is part of purine metabolism, but if metabolism occurs abnormally there will be a process of accumulation of uric acid crystals in the joints which causes quite high levels of pain such as joint disorders (Gouty arthritis). The aim is to determine the description of uric acid levels before and after consuming palm wine in residents in Ujung Tanduk Village, Laguboti District. The research that will be used is a quantitative type of research with a descriptive research design, with a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that 8 research samples, 2 people (25%) of the sample consuming 4 glasses of palm wine experienced a decrease in uric acid levels with an average of 0.25 mg/dl, 4 people (50%) of the sample consuming 6 glasses of palm wine experienced an increase in uric acid levels with an average of 0.4 mg/dl, and 2 people (25%) of the sample who consumed 8 glasses of palm wine experienced an increase in uric acid levels with an average of 1.25 mg/dl. Consuming too much palm wine can increase uric acid, therefore reducing the frequency of consuming palm wine can reduce uric acid levels.

Abstract

Tantangan yang sering muncul dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam salah satunya berupa rendahnya motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa, khususnya pada materi penting seperti usia baligh yang menjadi fase transisi krusial bagi peserta didik kelas IV. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PAI pada materi menyambut usia baligh melalui penerapan metode Talking Stick di kelas IV SD Negeri Sapih I, Lumbang, Kabupaten Probolinggo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi keaktifan siswa, tes formatif tertulis, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa, dengan ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 37,5% pada siklus I menjadi 75% pada siklus II. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Talking Stick efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi, partisipasi, dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi menyambut usia baligh dalam pembelajaran PAI. In Islamic Education challenges often arise in the form of low student motivation and engagement, particularly when addressing essential topics such as the age of puberty (baligh), a crucial transitional phase for fourth-grade students. This study aims to improve learning outcomes in PAI on the topic of welcoming the age of puberty through the application of the Talking Stick method in Grade IV at SD Negeri Sapih I, Lumbang, Probolinggo Regency. The research employed a Classroom Action Research design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observations of student activeness, formative written tests, and documentation. The findings revealed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with mastery levels increasing from 37.5% in the first cycle to 75% in the second cycle. These results indicate that the Talking Stick method is effective in enhancing students’ motivation, participation, and understanding of the topic of welcoming the age of puberty in Islamic Education.
