Abstract

The 2013 and independent curricula provide a special domain for developing the region's potential where the education unit is located through local content subjects. Regional Voice Art or SSD is a local content that raises learning material for tembang macapat and tembang dolanan. The empirical reality in the field of SSD learning experiences many significant obstacles. From discussions with several fellow teachers through the KKG forum, it was found that teachers still had difficulty teaching this SSD material. Some fellow teachers have difficulty developing teaching materials, so SSD subjects are rarely taught. It is quite difficult if there are no tools to teach tembang macapat or tembang dolanan. The tones used for these songs are not solemnized tones but use slendro and pelog gamelan tunings. The existence of gamelan in the researcher's school and surrounding environment is still rare. Given that gamelan is also not cheap, so for small schools and far from the city will be an obstacle for the school. Based on these conditions, the author made an innovative media with gamelan touch or gasen. The process of making this touch gamelan by utilizing plywood to be designed into a gamelan shape and connected to a chip programmed on a computer. It is utilized as an SSD learning media. This media is then distributed to teachers in the Teacher Working Group forum to be disseminated and utilized in helping teach regional sound art materials (SSD).

Abstract

Deconstruction is viewed as a new and radical perspective in understanding texts or current events and has broad and challenging implications for changing perspectives in education and educational management, aiming to enhance stronger critical and creative thinking skills for participants. Learner-centered education has become an open trend in contemporary education in Indonesia, particularly in the digital-based social, era 5.0. The adaptation of deconstruction in differentiated learning model presents both opportunities and challenges in developing critical and creative thinking, fostering collaboration, and strengthening communication skills while also considering the needs of individual learners. This study examines and analyzes the adaptation of deconstruction to the differentiated learning model as a manifestation of independent learning. It employs a radical hermeneutic qualitative research approach, conducting an in-depth literature review on the various forms of deconstruction adaptation that can be applied in differentiated learning. The adaptation of deconstruction allows educators not only to address the diverse needs of individual learners but also opens up greater opportunities to build critical and creative thinking, collaboration, communication skills. Learners become individuals with strong and sharp critical thinking skills who continuously offer new ideas and concepts in response to changes and events in their surroundings, becoming part of the solution to problems. This research are expected to assist educators in discovering and determining new, more dynamic formulas in teaching and learning in schools such as concept, metode, approach, evaluation in teaching, and ultimately fostering learners' critical thinking abilities by prioritizing a deconstructive perspective.

Abstract

The background of this research is caused by the problem of low mathematical literacy ability which causes some students to be unable to solve mathematical contextual problems. The teacher centered learning process does not provide opportunities for students to develop their ideas properly so that students find it difficult to understand concepts correctly. Discovery learning is student centered learning so that students can build their ideas and discover concepts through their mental processes. Hands on activity is a learning media that supports student learning activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of discovery learning with hands on activity on mathematical literacy. This study uses a mixed methods. The research data was obtained through tests of students mathematical literacy, interviews and observation. The research sample consisted of 66 students of class X semester 1 of SMAIT Nurul Islam Tengaran. Quantitative data analysis using descriptive and inferential statistics. Qualitative research subjects were obtained from students who had the highest ranking in the previous class. So that the two highest ranking subjects were chosen, namely S1 and S2. The gain test obtained a significance of 0.000 <0.05, this indicates that there is an increase in mathematical literacy in the experimental class which is higher than the control class. The subject of S1 is able to master the 5 indicators of mathematical literacy very well. While S2 is able to master the 4 indicators of mathematical literacy well. Through discovery learning with hands on activity students can improve their mathematical literacy ability.

Abstract

Music has an influence on human life, including in religion. The Church exists and stands as part of a social group in society, which means that it is also related to social conditions that can be examined from a sociological approach and perspective. This article seeks to describe and explain the three elements of Pierre Bourdieu's social construction (i.e., field, habitus, and capital), which will then be linked to social practices in the Church music ministry at GKI Gejayan. The main activity of the Church is worship, where there is a congregation that is the focus of service (that is served), worship leaders, and a place of worship that all require good arrangement and management. Church music is included in worship. The music ministry in the Church needs to be maximized so that worship can be more attractive, encouraging and motivating the congregation to come together and worship.

Abstract

Provincial Sports Week Provincial Sports Week (PORPROV) XIV 2022 West Java is one of the multi-event national sports events held in West Java Province, where this event has one of the objectives to improve and develop the quality of national sports, one of which is the achievement of athletes. The focus of the study in this study is limited to the problem of what motivation drives Takraw athletes from other regions or other provinces to make turnovers to cities and regencies in the West Java region. This research approach was carried out qualitatively using theoretical analysis methods (theoretical analysis). These observations are directed at certain individuals or social groups guided by certain goals or the focus of certain problems. In this study, researchers used data collection techniques with observation, interviews and documentation. The process of data analysis begins by examining all available data from various sources, namely from interviews and observations that have been written down in field notes. Athletes who commit turnovers have their own reasons and motivations, and these decisions must be made with careful thought and consideration of their long-term goals as athletes. Every athlete has individual goals and aspirations, and turnover can be a strategic move to achieve those goals. However, keep in mind that the decision to make a turnover must also be considered carefully, considering the consequences and associated risks. Personal factors such as family factors, geographic location, or relationships with coaches and teammates can also influence an athlete's decision.

Abstract

Instruments as objective measuring instruments in evaluating exercise results. The improvement in the performance of martial arts athletes is always measured by a test instrument. So far from searching on google scholar, there have been many articles published in the development of martial arts instruments. Interpretation of results from literature studies shows mixed results. This literature study aims to find, critically assess, and analyse the results of the development of pencak silat test instruments. The keywords used in the database are the development of pencak silat instruments published within the last 5 years from the period 2019 to 2023. The method used in completing the literature study uses PRISMA guidelines with four stages, namely identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion and the database is taken from google scholar. Conclusion making is conducted qualitatively. The database is systematically analyzed to search for relevant studies. Articles are filtered independently, and data is obtained through data extraction forms. There are six articles showing the relationship with the development of martial arts test instruments. The main finding of the literature study is the difference in the validity and reliability results of each test instrument developed. This is due to differences in the characteristics of martial arts athletes as subjects in the study. Therefore, it is necessary to reconstruct the research and development of pencak silat test instruments with validity and reliability that can be used in generalization.

Abstract

In the field of education, all aspects of education should align with the goals of national education. Education has a significant impact on human development, especially in the era of globalization, to develop academic skills, students' personalities, and mastery of knowledge and technology in accordance with the needs and developments of the working world. Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran (PIP) Semarang is a vocational state university in the maritime field that implements a one-year full-time internship program for bachelor's and Diploma-IV degrees. This internship program, also known as sea practice, is carried out by cadets on board ships to apply the lessons they have learned during their maritime studies. During the sea practice, the institution continuously monitors the progress of the cadets from a distance to assess their performance during the internship period. In this era of globalization and digitization, information systems are rapidly developing. The integration of information can be implemented in sea practice to prevent and address the educational and maritime testing issues that often arise at the central, regional, and cadet levels. PIP Semarang provides remote monitoring facilities through an application-based system. The observations have shown that this monitoring method can enhance competence, communication, and problem-solving skills. In further development, the application will be aligned with the digitalization-based education management.
