Methodology: This research is quantitative research. The population in this study were class XI students of Public senior high school 3 Muaro Jambi and Senior High School Anagada. The sampling technique used simple random sampling so that 60 students were obtained. The data collection technique in this research is by distributing reading interest and attitude questionnaires to students via Google Form which contains positive and negative statements for each student. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics. Main Findings: The results of the research show that the attitudes of high school students towards learning physics tend to be in the good category. Then it was discovered that high school students' reading interest in physics learning tended to be in the good and very good categories. These findings can be the basis for further research to further explore the factors that influence students' reading preferences. It is hoped that further research can provide a deeper understanding of the dynamics of high school students' interest in reading. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive method that describes students' learning attitudes and reading interest in high school physics subjects. This can provide valuable insight into curriculum development, teaching methods, and efforts to increase students' interest and understanding of physics reading material.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the reciprocal teaching learning model based on multiple intelligences on the learning outcomes of students on vibration, waves and sound in class VIII Junior high school. Methodology: This research is experimental research conducted in junior high schools. The sample in this research was class VIII junior high school students. The sampling technique was carried out using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection uses the test method (multiple choice test) to obtain data about learning outcomes. Test the research hypothesis using the t-test. Main Findings: Based on t test calculations with a significance level of 5%, tcount = 3.01 while ttable = 1.994. Because tcount > ttable means that the average physics learning outcomes of students who are taught using the multiple intelligence-based reciprocal teaching learning model are effective on student learning outcomes. So, it can be concluded that learning using the reciprocal teaching learning model based on multiple intelligences on vibration, wave and sound material is effective on the learning outcomes of class VIII students in junior high schools. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research makes an important contribution in understanding how various learning strategies can be adapted to the individual needs and intelligence of students to improve their learning outcomes in complex material such as Waves, Vibrations and Sound.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to describe student motivation in learning physics about renewable energy materials. Methodology: This type of research uses descriptive research with the data used being quantitative. Data collection used a physics learning motivation questionnaire instrument for students. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling with a total sample in this study of 60 high school students. Data analysis used descriptive statistics assisted by SPSS. Main Findings: Based on the results of student motivation questionnaire data obtained from Jambi City 2 High School and Triam Udom Suksa School, there were 60 respondents, namely an average score of 73.80. Next, the middle value (median) is 73. Then the minimum value is 56. And the maximum value is 94. The implication of this research is that by using a comprehensive and nuanced approach, this research aims to explain the factors that influence student motivation in certain academic domains. This investigation examines various elements such as curriculum design, teaching methodology, and the relevance of renewable energy materials in the learning process. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research is that the descriptive study pioneers exploration into the previously uncharted area of student learning motivation in physics, specifically focusing on the renewable energy materials domain. This research can be a means to improve physics teaching in the classroom

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) approach on the formation of junior high school students' physics behavior. Methodology: This research is quantitative research with associative causal type. The total research sample was 69 students with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. The instruments used in this research were questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Main Findings: Based on the results of statistical analysis using SPSS 21, it was found that there was an influence of the application of Contextual Teaching (CTL) on the formation of physics behavior in class VIII SMP students with an influence percentage of 42%. With the regression equation Y = 45.508 + 0.363X. This means that if the CTL approach is not used in the physics learning process, the student's physics behavior score will be 45.508. Then, for every 1% increase in the level of the CTL approach, the physics behavior of class VII middle school students will increase by 0.363.l. Novelty/Originality of this study: The findings of this research indicate that this approach in the teaching process is important to use as a means to increase the nuances of learning in the classroom to be more meaningful. The novelty of this research is that it is useful as a means of improving physics teaching and learning strategies in the classroom in order to shape students' positive behavior.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The aim of this research is to determine the differences in the use of physics modules based on local wisdom of smoked fish in heat transfer material. Methodology: This research adopts a research and development (R&D) approach. The samples taken for this research were two classes at the school, with each class consisting of 30 students. The data collection technique in this research was carried out through the use of a questionnaire as the main instrument. The data analysis technique in this research involves a series of systematic steps to test assumptions and test hypotheses. Main Findings: Based on the results of the T-test, students' responses to the use of a physics module based on the local wisdom of smoked fish in one of the high schools in Eastern Sumatra. The T test results obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) 0.037 < 0.05 so it can be concluded that there are differences in student responses who use the physics module based on the local wisdom of smoked fish. Novelty/Originality of this study: Delving into local wisdom, this innovative approach transforms the teaching of heat transfer in physics by crafting a specialized module inspired by the traditional technique of smoking fish. Through this unique lens, students not only enhance their fundamental skills but also gain a profound appreciation for the seamless integration of indigenous practices into scientific education.

Methodology: The research method used is research and development (R&D). The instrument used in this research to measure students' scientific attitudes. This research will involve two classes, each of which will use a different learning approach. One class will use a conventional e-book while the other class will use an e-module developed based on the local wisdom of Lampung written batik Main Findings: The research results show that the use of this e-module is effective in improving students' scientific attitudes, such as curiosity, perseverance, and trust in scientific methods, which are important aspects in learning physics. By combining local traditions with modern scientific concepts, this approach not only enriches learning methods, but also strengthens students' cultural identity. Therefore, implementing physics e-modules based on local wisdom is a relevant strategy and has the potential to be applied in the context of physics learning in schools. Novelty/Originality of this research: The novelty of this research lies in the combination of modern technological approaches with local cultural values. In this research, the e-module was designed by considering the rich cultural context and traditions of Lampung batik, thereby creating a relevant and interesting learning experience for students.
