Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of quality of service, satisfaction, utilitarian value, confidence in the re-purchase on online purchases. The research problem is how to increase trust and repeat purchase at online shopping. The sample in this research is the students of economic faculties Unissula Semarang as many as 198 people consisting of students one semester to semester five, using purposive sampling method, technique of data  collection  conducted  by  survey  through  interviews  and  questionnaires.  Data analysis was performed by descriptive analysis method and the method of Partial Least Square (PLS). The result showed that the economic faculty students on average make purchases online through social media such as BBM and Facebook. The results of data analysis  using  the  PLS  indicates  that  there  is  a  positive  and  significant  influence between  utilitarian  value,  satisfaction,  confidence  in  the  repeat  purchase.  But  the variable quality of services to satisfaction as well as satisfaction with the confidence showed no significant results. Based on the research results, repeat purchase can be enhanced through the value of benefits and confidence in the use of social media.  Keywords: service quality, satisfaction, the value of benefits, trust and repeat purchase

Abstract

Dimensi modal sosial menggambarkan segala sesuatu yang membuat masyarakat bersekutu untuk mencapai tujuan bersama atas dasar kebersamaan, serta didalamnya diikat oleh nilai-nilai dan norma-norma yang tumbuh dan dipatuhi, serta sosial inheren dalam struktur relasi sosial dan jaringan sosial di dalam suatu masyarakat yang menciptakan berbagai ragam kewajiban sosial, menciptakan iklim saling percaya, membawa saluran informasi, dan menetapkan norma-norma, serta sangsi-sangsi sosial bagi para anggota masyarakat tersebut (Coleman, 1999). Namun demikian Fukuyama  (2000) dengan tegas menyatakan, belum tentu norma-norma dan nilai-nilai bersama yang dipedomani sebagai acuan bersikap, bertindak, dan bertingkah-laku itu otomatis menjadi modal sosial. Akan tetapi hanyalah norma-norma dan nilai-nilai bersama yang dibangkitkan oleh kepercayaan (trust). Dimana trust ini adalah merupakan harapan- harapan terhadap keteraturan, kejujuran, dan perilaku kooperatif yang muncul dari dalam sebuah komunitas masyarakat yang didasarkan pada norma-norma yang dianut bersama oleh para anggotanya. Populasi dalam penelitian terdiri dari petani tembakau, tokoh masyarakat, dan aparat pemerintah kecamatan dan desa dari delapan desa yang terpilih sebagai sampel. Sementara itu jumlah responden sebanyak 104 orang, yang terdiri dari 80 petani tembakau, 16 tokoh masyarakat, 16 perangkat desa, dan 2 orang perangkat kecamatan. Variabel penelitian meliputi kajian ekonomi, sosial budaya, kajian demografi, karakteristik petani tembakau, dan efektivitas modal sosial. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan focus group discussion (FGD) dengan responden, dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai kepercayaan dalam modal sosial sangat dominan sebagai dasar bagi masyarakat pedesaan untuk dijadikan modal dalam peningkatan fungsi yang lain, seperti peningkatan respek dan keuntungan bersama. Permasalahan dalam optimalisasi modal sosial menyangkut masalah alam, masalah sumber daya manusia, dan masalah manajemen. Sementara itu untuk mengoptimalkan peran modal sosial di pedesaan perlu adanya dukungan dari berbagai pihak, seiring dengan tuntutan masyarakat pedesaan terkait dengan pentingnya program pendampingan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi masyarakat pedesaan dengan meningkatkan ketrampilan bertani, dan meningkatkan diversivikasi pertanian. Selain itu juga perlunya dukungan kepemimpinan transformasional untuk meningkatkan optimalisasi peran modal sosial. Kata kunci: Modal sosial, kesejahteraan, kepemimpinan transformasional,pendampingan

Abstract

Bank and risk are two things that cannot be separated from each other. Both conventional and Islamic banks are more or less similar in risk summary. One of the critical risk is liquidity risk that caused by bank disabilities on meeting their maturity dates of depositors. Therefore it needs further observations to control their liquidity risk. This study investigates the influence of CAR, profitability ratios, NIM, liquidity gaps, and RLA belongs to liquidity risk on banking industry. The population of this study consists of conventional and Islamic banks. The selection of samples uses purposive sampling method. The samples are divided into 3 conventional banks and 3 Islamic banks. The study is based on secondary data in a period of five years, i.e. 2007-2011. The statistical analysis of secondary data has been divided into three, which are descriptive, regressionand hypothesis testing. The study finds negative and significant influence of CAR and ROE to liquidity risk on conventional banks, while ROA and RLA have positive and insignificant effect. In Islamic banks, the research finds positive and significant impact of NIM and ROE to dependent variable, whereas liquidity gaps and RLA have insignificant affect. Liquidity gaps have positive and significant effect to liquidity risk in conventional banks, while ROA has positive direction in Islamic banks. In addition, NIM in first model and CAR in second model is found to be negative and insignificant at 5% significance level.Keywords: conventional banks, Islamic banks, liquidity risk, fundamental factors

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see whether there is a difference between the stock returns before and after the acquisition as long as there are differences of opinion as to whether or not the difference between the stock returns before and after the acquisition, because of that it is interesting to do the research again. In this research, the sample used is a bank that there are only three banks acquired during the period 2005-2011. By using a period of 22 days before and 22 days after the acquisition, and Wilcoxon test method for abnormal data obtained using α of 0.05 then the result that there is no difference between the stock returns before and after the acquisition, it happens because of a lack of information regarding the incident acquisition so that investors receive the information at the time of acquisition or late events know.Keywords: Acquisitions, and Bank Stock Return

Abstract

The Internet and Web-based technologies have used to support implementation learning program. E-learning is utilization information technology to support learning activity. Using e-learning in higher education have important role to support learning effectiveness. Some of universities in Indonesia have begun to implement online learning to support learning process. This study investigated the effect of individual readiness on e-learning acceptance. This study combine between technology readiness model with technology acceptance model into one model to investigate the role individual technology readiness to technology acceptance. Individual technology readiness are measured by four dimensions are optimism, innovativeness, insecure, discomfort. An empirical study was conducted among lecturer at JenderalSoedirman University. Partial Least Square was used to analyze the model. This study show that from four dimensions of technology readiness only optimism dimension that effect to perceive ease of use and perceive usefulness.This study also show that intention to use e-learning is effected by their perception to e-learning usefulness.Based on this findings can be concluded that lecture who have higher optimism will have higher perceive ease to use and usefulness of e-learning. Lecture will use e-learning if they perceive that e-learning useful to support learning process.Keywords: Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Technology Readiness model, E-learning.

Abstract

Pottery industrys in sub-district Mayong regency Jepara are potentially industrial clusters. Pottery industrys to be pottery industry clusters are expected to eventually be able to manage the pottery industry to develop their potential, to compete with other pottery industry from other areas and potentially for export. In addition, the pottery industry clusters will be expected to assist the industry in meeting the needs of raw materials, labors, supporting materials, capitals, etc., also help the industry in distributing products to consumers directly like any distributor, and minimize competition between the fellow industry that maintained continuity of pottery industrys in sub-district Mayong regency Jepara. To sustain the pottery industrys, the development of e-business model is the right choice, responding to the issue of green business. Abstract

This research aims to empirically examine the effect of regional financial statement presentation and accessibility of financial statements for transparency and accountability in financial management.The research was conducted in Ambon city government. The sample used in the research of to the local government employees Ambon City, Higher education lecturer, and student  on Faculty of Economics, Management Department and Accounting. The sampling method used is proporsionate stratified random sampling; the sample is then determined by 82 . For this research the data analyzed using multiple linear regression with tools statistical program, after test the classical assumptions are met. The results of this research show that the presentation of the financial statements and the accessibility of the area of financial reporting partial or jointly have influence positive on transparency and accountability in financial management.Keywords: Local financial reports, accessibility, transparency and accountability

Abstract

The consumer’s perception in a product has a different from the company’s perception. The difference perception in a company will be appeared in the positioning and depends on segmentation’s product. The purpose of this research is to develop positioning and segmentation model based on the perception. If it perception can be mapped by the consumer and a company’s perception. Thus, these can be seen how positioning and segmentation’s product where these have different with the consumer to the company. It can be concluded that a company needs a reposition and segmentation to their product or not. The outcome of this target can be formed of consumer perception map to seven label phone. From this perception mapping will be able to be known how the positioning, segmentation, and consumer’s preference in a product. While from the research result which examined what perception mapping model that is produced appropriate with the objective conditions according to company. Therefore, it can be concluded what does the company needs repositioning or does not. The population  of this  research is  consumer  and  branch  manager  from  agency, distributor, and central selling market label such as Blackberry, Apple iphone, Nokia, Samsung, HTC, and Nexian in Semarang. Meanwhile, the approach that is used are descriptive analysis by using mapping perception method in graphic based on result analysis multi dimensional selling, and cluster analysis combine with descriptive analysis. Abstract

Intense competition in the service industry make service companies to intervene and work hard for the survival of the company 'why do not companies must not only create a good product and quality but the company is also required as to how the company could create good ethics and brand image to consumers. ethics or corporate brand image can not be replicated or followed as ethics and good brand image will be embedded in the minds of consumers so as to enable the consumer to use the product in a sustainable manner so as to make consumers become satisfied and loyal. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of third-party funds (DPK), Adequasi Capital Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), interest rate of Bank Indonesia Certificates (SBI) for Banking Credit Distribution. The data used are secondary data from Bank Indonesia include the National Banking Indicators, Indonesia Banking Statistics, Statistics Indonesia Monetary Economics, Banking Supervision Report. Test Results Statistikc independent sample t-test showed the influence of hypothesis testing can be inferred deposits to credit deposits partially variables significant positive impact on the credit variable. Testing hypotheses CAR effect on credit can be inferred by partial variable CAR significant negative effect on the credit variable. Testing hypotheses about the impact of NPLs to loans concluded NPL variable partially significant negative effect on the credit variable. Testing hypotheses about the impact of interest rates on loans concluded SBI partially SBI variables have a significant positive impact on the credit variable. Results adjusted R2 of 0.996, this means that 99% of the variation can be explained by variations in the credit of the four independent variables DPK, CAR, NPL, the SBI rate. While the remaining 1% is explained by reasons - other causes outside the model.Keywords: Loans, DPK, CAR, NPL,SBI.
