Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the concept of bleisure (business and leisure) in an organization along with its antecedents and outcomes. Bleisure is a combination of completing work and entertainment or a pleasant situation at the same time. The sample used in this study were 106 respondents who work in Event Organizer (EO). Data collection methods in this study used questionnaires. Data was analyzed by using regression test. The results of this study indicate that if people work in an organization that combines business and leisure (bleisure), they will have the creativity and high innovation performance, and the application of business and leisure (bleisure) can be achieved through mobile working style and gamification. Bleisure or a combination of fun activities and work can enhance creative intelligence and innovation performance for individuals in completing work, every person will be more creative and innovative. Leisure and work are related things, when individuals are burdened with assignments, the application of leisure in an organization is one of the effective things.

Abstract

Dimensi modal sosial menggambarkan segala sesuatu yang membuat masyarakat bersekutu untuk mencapai tujuan bersama atas dasar kebersamaan, serta didalamnya diikat oleh nilai-nilai dan norma-norma yang tumbuh dan dipatuhi, serta sosial inheren dalam struktur relasi sosial dan jaringan sosial di dalam suatu masyarakat yang menciptakan berbagai ragam kewajiban sosial, menciptakan iklim saling percaya, membawa saluran informasi, dan menetapkan norma-norma, serta sangsi-sangsi sosial bagi para anggota masyarakat tersebut (Coleman, 1999). Namun demikian Fukuyama  (2000) dengan tegas menyatakan, belum tentu norma-norma dan nilai-nilai bersama yang dipedomani sebagai acuan bersikap, bertindak, dan bertingkah-laku itu otomatis menjadi modal sosial. Akan tetapi hanyalah norma-norma dan nilai-nilai bersama yang dibangkitkan oleh kepercayaan (trust). Dimana trust ini adalah merupakan harapan- harapan terhadap keteraturan, kejujuran, dan perilaku kooperatif yang muncul dari dalam sebuah komunitas masyarakat yang didasarkan pada norma-norma yang dianut bersama oleh para anggotanya. Populasi dalam penelitian terdiri dari petani tembakau, tokoh masyarakat, dan aparat pemerintah kecamatan dan desa dari delapan desa yang terpilih sebagai sampel. Sementara itu jumlah responden sebanyak 104 orang, yang terdiri dari 80 petani tembakau, 16 tokoh masyarakat, 16 perangkat desa, dan 2 orang perangkat kecamatan. Variabel penelitian meliputi kajian ekonomi, sosial budaya, kajian demografi, karakteristik petani tembakau, dan efektivitas modal sosial. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan focus group discussion (FGD) dengan responden, dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai kepercayaan dalam modal sosial sangat dominan sebagai dasar bagi masyarakat pedesaan untuk dijadikan modal dalam peningkatan fungsi yang lain, seperti peningkatan respek dan keuntungan bersama. Permasalahan dalam optimalisasi modal sosial menyangkut masalah alam, masalah sumber daya manusia, dan masalah manajemen. Sementara itu untuk mengoptimalkan peran modal sosial di pedesaan perlu adanya dukungan dari berbagai pihak, seiring dengan tuntutan masyarakat pedesaan terkait dengan pentingnya program pendampingan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi masyarakat pedesaan dengan meningkatkan ketrampilan bertani, dan meningkatkan diversivikasi pertanian. Selain itu juga perlunya dukungan kepemimpinan transformasional untuk meningkatkan optimalisasi peran modal sosial. Kata kunci: Modal sosial, kesejahteraan, kepemimpinan transformasional,pendampingan

Abstract

This study discusses a new concept of "gamified training" through creative-oriented leadership. This concept aims to improve individual soft skills, such as communication skills, creative intelligence and collaboration skills. Gamified training is a design of training through gamification so that it will produce an effective and targeted training. Gamification is a training policy using game pattern. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method. The 106 respondents were involved in this study. Data collection technique used questionnaires and analyzed by regression method. The results showed that there was significant positive effect between creative-oriented leadership with gamified training. Furthermore, gamified training has also been proven to improve the individual soft skills.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to describe and analyze the relationship between readiness to change and agile leadership on the dynamic capabilities of SMEs. Furthermore, this study also examines the effect of dynamic capabilities in strengthening the digital ecosystem of SMEs.Design/methodology/approach: The data used in the study are collected from 250 SMEs through structured questionnaires. This study analyzes three hypotheses using structural equation modeling.Findings: The results of the study show that readiness to change and agile leadership can improve the dynamic capabilities of SMEs. The improved dynamic capabilities of SMEs are proven to be able to strengthen the digital ecosystem in SMEs. The results of this study are expected to contribute to SMEs in strengthening the growth of the digital economy in Indonesia.Research limitations/implications: This research has several limitation aspects, the research design is cross-sectional, and the research design cannot ensure that the causal relationship is specified in the hypothesis; in fact, the results tend to be consistent with theoretical reasoning. This study analyzes dynamic capabilities, a more specific approach may be needed to be able to fully utilize each process for the realization of a digital ecosystem. Another limitation, this study only examines the direct effect between a penchant for change and agile leadership on the capabilities of SMEs. Then test the direct influence between dynamic capabilities on the realization of a digital ecosystem.Practical Implications: The implication of the results of this research for management is as a literature on efforts to strengthen the digital ecosystem for SMEs through dynamic capabilities formed fro readiness to change and agile leadership. SME entrepreneurs must realize that change is a necessity along with the development of society and technology so that readiness to change becomes veri important. Besides, SME entrepreneurs are also required to have an agile leadership spirit so that they can guide and influence their team in achieving targets and solving problems properly.Originality/value: This study focuses on change readiness and agile leadership in relation to the dynamic capabilities of SMEs that can ultimately shape digital ecosystems. the results of this study provide additional empirical evidence for areas of research where there are few studies exist.

Abstract

Islamic microfinance institutions are financial institutions that carry out operational activities based on sharia principles. One of them is the Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT), this institution serves savings and funding to the middle and lower communities by picking up the ball. With this system, it will be an opportunity for human resources (SDI) who are less loyal and responsible with their institutions to commit fraud or irregularities. Therefore, this study aims to find out how triangle fraud affects the occurrence of fraud in BMT. The research method uses independent path analysis with a sample of 84 respondents from the marketing department, supervisors, and financing managers. The results of this study are that Rationalization and pressure have a positive and significant effect on the occurrence of fraud, while the opportunity does not have an influence on the occurrence of fraud.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate and test the role of organizational ambition in improving innovation speed and marketing performance in MSMEs in the creative industries, especially handicraft in Semarang, Central Java. A sample of 173 SMEs were taken using convenience sampling techniques. Using regression analysis techniques, the study concluded that innovation speed is more influenced by exploitation than exploration. Organizational ambidexterity is not able to increase innovation speed and marketing performance and innovation speed is only influenced by exploitation. This result is thought to be strongly influenced by the character of MSMEs who are less familiar with technology as supporting exploitation activities. Exploitation capabilities are more prominent because modifying products by changing shapes, colors and sizes is easier and lower risk compared to creating products that are completely new with the use of the latest technology.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of zakat maal expenditure behavior on work altruism and quality. The study was conducted at a higher education institution that practices a strong culture in religious activities. A total of 223 respondents were involved in this study. Data were obtained using a questionnaire and analyzed using the PLSPM of SmartPLS 3.2.8. The results of this study showed that compliant employees’ payment of zakat maal could increase work altruism and quality of work-life, thereby increasing their performance. The behavior of zakat maal payment in this study is evidenced by the existence of a workplace, that supports the implementation of the obligations of a Muslim, so as to increase their awareness in paying zakat when reaching the nishab. Encouragement from the organization about this matter ultimately increases work altruism which can help improve work productivity and make employees feel they have a better and more balanced work life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja SDM. Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh karakter karyawan terhadap kinerja SDM dan menganalisis dampak karakter karyawan terhadap kecerdasan emosional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai Bank Perkreditan Rakyat BKK Kota Semarang yang berjumlah 120 pegawai. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode sensus sehingga seluruh populasi menjadi sampel penelitian. Sehingga jumlah karyawan yang menjadi responden adalah 120 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode partial least square dengan bantuan SmartPLS versi 3. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja SDM. Karakter karyawan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja SDM dan karakter karyawan terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kecerdasan emosional. Kecerdasan emosional terbukti mampu memediasi pengaruh tidak langsung karakter karyawan terhadap kinerja SDM karyawan.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service activity aims to improve and foster an entrepreneurial spirit in the surrounding community by providing an understanding of entrepreneurship, marketing and the preparation of financial reports. Methodology: The method for implementing community service activities is carried out in several stages. The first stage is the preparatory stage through observation and material preparation. The second stage is the implementation of activities in the form of technical guidance which is carried out by presenting material, practice of preparing financial reports and discussions. The third stage is an evaluation that aims to accommodate the problems faced by participants in compiling financial reports independently. Results: The results of community service for dombos breeders (Wonosobo sheep) participants understood how to prepare small and medium enterprises financial reports and began to have entrepreneurial and marketing knowledge. This is a good start to develop dombos farming in Wonosobo. The training went well and received a good response from the participants. Conclusion: This community service activity had a positive impact because participants ultimately had the skills and knowledge of digital marketing management and the preparation of financial reports. Through this community service activity, it is hoped that breeders can apply the knowledge they have acquired to develop the dombos business.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the concept of transformational leadership through Jenderal Achmad Yani style and the implementation challenges face by Jenderal Achmad Yani University Yogyakarta to achieve superior accreditation. The study utilizes qualitative research. The sampling technique uses purpose sampling. Data analysis comprises four concurrent activities: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The result indicate that Jenderal Achmad Yani University implements transformational leadeship characterized by Jenderal Achmad Yani’s fighting values as role model for lecturers and educational staff. These fighting values are Nationalist, Patriotic, and Heroic. Transformational leadership through Jenderal Achmad Yani style wants to create an academic community that reflects Aditya Mahatma Dhaksa, namely a figure who is clever and wise, big-hearted, capable and expert. The challengers encountered in implementing Jenderal Achmad Yani’s version of transformational leadership include finding ways to internalize Jenderal Achmad Yani’s transformational leadership and transforming his struggle values to the employees of Jenderal Achmad Yani University Yogyakarta.
