Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Active Directory Domain Services Windows Server 2012 Using VMware ESXi Hypervisor Virtualization in the Case Study of PT E-Trans. Research shows that there are two specifications, namely the first software specifications consisting of Operating System, Hypervisor and OS Virtual Machine, the second hardware specifications consisting of ram, hdd, processor and other devices such as the internet, the results of the study show VMware can be used as a means to utilize virtualization methods to optimize its Management Server and reduce inventory costs, then VMware is useful for increasing and decreasing the number of server computers or virtual machines that can support many applications, Active Directory Domain Services on Windows Server 2012 provided efficient benefits and integration for enterprise network management and enhanced security.

Abstract

Security officers need a variety of critical activity reports to perform their duties and maintain workplace safety. Writing by hand in several volumes typically requires a considerable amount of time. Similarly, managers from businesses are required to visit the location to maintain security and order, which takes time and effort. Find it challenging to actively monitor security officers in the workplace. Security guard reporting and monitoring application systems employing Android technology that run on mobile devices that support the Android platform are systematically analyzed and designed. The approach utilized in creating this application is the Scrum method to develop an application based on the requirements of the intended project. The agile methodology, of which the Scrum method is a component, will aid in boosting this system's flexibility and speed during the development phase.

Abstract

Archive is an activity to record items that have been damaged or old documents that are no longer used but still have value to be used as report material so they must be stored as well as possible. The Library Archives of SMKN 1 South Tangerang have 2,300 books that are damaged and books that need to be replaced, namely from the 2013 curriculum book to the merdeka curriculum book so that the book must be included in the library archive data at SMKN 1 South Tangerang. Book archives at SMKN 1 South Tangerang still use the manual method, namely inputting data using handwriting, then typing and printing so that performance for library staff is not effective and efficient, the application of library book archives is a way to facilitate the performance of department staff library because the existence of an application will facilitate and minimize errors and damage to data in an archive. Because of that, the researchers tried to conduct research at SMKN 1 South Tangerang and make a thesis report with the title "Design of Library Book Archive Application for SMKN 1 South Tangerang Using the Personal Extreme Programming (PXP) Method" to help Archiving Financial Statements become more effective and efficient.

Abstract

With the number of internet users around the world increasing significantly, the demand for bandwidth is also increasing. This has led to an increase in heavy internet traffic. To optimize the use of available bandwidth, it is necessary to implement a load balancing mechanism. One effective mechanism is to use load balancing, which functions to level the bandwidth usage load in a balanced manner. This research applies load balancing with the Per Connection Classifier method on MikroTik and OpenWrt routers. The research method used is by collecting data through observation, interviews, and literature studies, and conducting system development methods using the NDLC (Network Development Life Cycles) method.  The results of the research all load balancing methods on MikroTik and OpenWrt function properly. Load balancing performance in testing with the Internet Speed Tester scenario, the PCC method on OpenWrt is better than the PCC method load balancing performance on MikroTik routerOS based on ping, upload and download calculations. However, the jitter value on the MikroTik routerOS is better than the jitter value on OpenWrt. Based on TIPHON standards in tests with a 100 Mb file download scenario, MikroTik routerOS and OpenWrt have the same results, namely having a troughput value in the "medium" category with index 2 and having packet loss, delay and jitter values in the "very good" category with index 4.

Abstract

Informatics Engineering is one of the study programs at Pamulang University. This study program has approximately 6000 students who have completed their education at Pamulang University. However, until now, there is no communication forum that is able to accommodate alumni from this study program, the goal is to facilitate communication with one another. This research aims to build a short messaging application based on the Android operating system. So that several supporting platforms are added in managing the application, namely Android studio, Kotlin, Emulator and Text Editor. This short message application was developed using Android Studio software. The system development methodology used is based on the system development life cycle and the waterfall model approach and literacy as well as from various literature studies, data collection and application design. This short message application includes sending short messages, sending pictures, sending videos and sending other files. The main target is Pamulang University Informatics Engineering alumni who aim to facilitate communication with one another. and this application implements that alumni have an organized and structured forum so that friendly ties are established between alumni so that close relationships are created with one another.

Abstract

Toko Parfume Kedaung is a trading company that currently uses a manual information system to run its business. However, this system is inadequate in supporting decision making and income recording by shop owners. Therefore, the store faces obstacles in the sales process and sales data management. To overcome this problem, the store needs an accurate information system that can simplify the sales process. The solution is to make improvements to the existing information system, including workflow improvements and the addition of software that can run the sales system properly. To develop a new system, the author will use the Waterfall method, which has its own sequential processes and specifications for each stage of development. This thesis proposal report was written with the aim of fulfilling the requirements for passing the thesis course, with the research title "Design of a Web-based Sales Information System at Perfume Kedaung Store".

Abstract

Education or school is something that is very important to equip the knowledge of every student in it. Effective learning is a learning that is based on something that must be interesting and also stimulate students' learning interest in general. the K-Nearest Neighbor method to find out the value of the ability test results, especially related to the ability to use Google Classroom online communication as a medium for learning and also doing assignments from subject teachers, it is necessary to conduct research using the K-Nearest Neighbor method. Here we will take a population of 39 students and also a sample of 15 students to test the results of the classification values using a K-Nearest Neighbor method using the orange data mining application to determine the classification of competencies in it later. The results of the data from a student competency study we obtain data obtained from each existing subject teacher which we will later process through an orange data mining application with a K-Nearest Neighbor method to determine the level of accuracy which is very detailed and also valid for acceptable results. the end of the data using data mining method.

Abstract

The current technological developments have significantly benefited people's everyday lives, not only in education but also in various aspects. Islamic figures have played a crucial role in pioneering and contributing to these technological advancements. Their intelligence and contributions should serve as examples for us. Islamic scientists have not overlooked the importance of religious knowledge while pioneering technology. It is essential for future generations to emulate the characteristics of these Islamic scientists. To promote knowledge about Islamic figures in an interesting and easily understandable way, a research was conducted at Al-Amanah Elementary School, Setu District. The goal was to design an Android-based learning media application that introduces world Islamic figures. The application aims to facilitate users in learning about these figures. The research successfully resulted in an Android-based media application that runs well on Android devices and received positive responses from respondents, with an 86% approval rate according to the questionnaire.

Abstract

One of the essential human needs that must be fulfilled is clean water, and using reservoirs is one of the alternative to collect clean water that from mountains. The process of distributing water from the mountain to the reservoirs sometimes encounter issues that chough up the water from reaching the reservoirs. These issues can be caused by natural phenomena, such as a decrease in the quality of the water source, or other factors like leaks or pipes disconnection. Periodic monitoring of the water source's condition is necessary to identify the causes of these problems. One of the method for monitoring the condition of mountain water sources is by utilizing the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT). This allows remote monitoring using water flow sensor to collect data on water flow and ultrasonic sensor to measure water levels. The data is then transmitted via the internet using the NodeMCU 8266 microcontroller. The research stages include identifying needs, needs and design analysis, variable value analysis, program design, program development, and testing. The testing involves functional and performance tests to ensure the system operates effectively, enabling personnel to identify the causes of issues that cough up water from reaching the reservoirs. The result of this research is a device that can monitor the availability of water in the reservoirs and easily track the quantity of clean water from the water source through a website.

Abstract

This research provides knowledge to investors to be wiser before making investment decisions, especially stock investments, by providing knowledge of when is the right time to buy and sell stocks, so that investors can invest in stocks safely and get maximum profits. The method used in this study is the data mining linear regression method and Price Book Value (PBV) by analyzing stocks with 3 areas, namely stocks in the food sector: Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk PT (INDF), the automotive sector: Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk PT (INDF ), shares in the automotive sector: Astra International Tbk PT and shares in the telecommunications sector: Telkom Indonesia Tbk PT (TLKM) with 7 years of historical data. After stock analysis was carried out using the linear regression and rapidminer methods, the stock price prediction results were obtained with RMSE values ​​(INDF shares 117%, ASII: 107%, TLKM: 56% and the average Price Book Value (PBV) of INDF shares was 1.8x, ASII: 1.9x, TLKM: 3.7x With the combined results of linear regression and Price Book Value (PBV) it is hoped that investors will be able to determine when is the right time to buy and sell shares to get maximum investment returns.
