Abstract

Traditional investment models that prioritize efficiency and cost minimization are becoming increasingly vulnerable to supply chain disruptions, regulatory uncertainty, and climate-related risks. This study aims to examine the interrelationship between trade conflicts, environmental governance, and resilient investment strategies in promoting sustainable economic growth. Using a qualitative approach based on an extensive review of academic literature, international policy reports, and empirical evidence, the study explores how governments, businesses, and financial institutions adapt investment decisions in response to evolving geopolitical and environmental conditions. The findings indicate that resilient investments are characterized by supply chain diversification, strategic resource allocation, technological innovation, and the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. Environmental governance, through climate policies, sustainability regulations, and green finance initiatives, plays a crucial role in redirecting capital toward low-carbon and environmentally responsible sectors. Meanwhile, trade conflicts encourage firms to strengthen regional production networks and reduce dependence on high-risk markets, thereby enhancing long-term investment resilience. The study further reveals that resilient investment serves not only as a mechanism for mitigating economic and geopolitical risks but also as a strategic instrument for achieving sustainable development objectives. The research contributes to the growing literature by providing an integrated framework that connects trade fragmentation, environmental governance, and investment resilience within the broader context of sustainable economic transformation. The findings offer practical implications for policymakers, investors, and multinational corporations in designing adaptive investment strategies capable of supporting inclusive, competitive, and environmentally sustainable growth in an increasingly uncertain global economy. Keywords: resilient investment; trade conflicts; geopolitical fragmentation; environmental governance; sustainable finance; ESG; sustainable growth; green investment

Abstract

AbstractThe growth of Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services, better known as paylater, has changed the consumption patterns of students in online shopping in Makassar City. The ease of transactions offered often leads students to spend without considering their ability to repay, thus triggering debt behavior. This study aims to develop a financial behavior model of BNPL users by examining the role of lifestyle and overconfidence on debt behavior, as well as the role of debt knowledge as a moderating variable. The study used a quantitative approach with primary data collected through questionnaires. The sampling technique used a non-probability sampling type of purposive sampling with a sample size calculated based on the Hair Formula, resulting in 120 student respondents using the paylater feature. Data analysis was conducted using a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS) using SmartPLS. The results showed that lifestyle and overconfidence each had a positive and significant effect on debt behavior. Debt knowledge was shown to significantly moderate the effect of lifestyle on debt behavior, but not significantly in moderating the effect of overconfidence on debt behavior. The developed model is able to explain 66.2% of the variation in debt behavior of BNPL users, so it can be a reference for students, educational institutions, and BNPL service providers in designing debt literacy education. Keywords: Buy Now Pay Later; Lifestyle; Overconfidence; Debt Behavior; Debt Knowledge

Abstract

This study looks at financial reports utilizing analysis, specifically liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, activity ratios, and profitability ratios, in order to examine the financial performance of telecom businesses listed on the Indonesian stock exchange between 2020 and 2022. This approach focuses on the financial performance of the organization using both quantitative and descriptive analysis techniques. Secondary data in the form of income statements, balance reports, and data required from 2020 to 2022 are the kind and source of data used. The data is derived from reports of telecoms financial businesses that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Research indicates that PT.XL Axiata and PT.Telkomsel perform better. Good liquidity ratios, solvability ratios, activity ratios, and corporate profitability ratios each year serve as proof of this. Keywords: Telecommunication, company, Financial Performance,  Financial Ratios
