Abstract

As international trade activities are increased, there are more regulative practices which might be barriers to trade. One of such hindrances is exchange rate volatility that affects trade activities both directly and indirectly. Exchange rate volatility of currencies can affect the trade engagements and as well as the trade balance of a country. One of the implications of the study is that the impacts of monetary policy changes on trade activities can be noticed significantly in the long-term. While impacts on export levels are usually immediate, import levels are changed in long-run. The research analyzes the correlation between inflation and devaluation and clearly states their impacts on trade balance. The case study about devaluation of the currency of Azerbaijan elaborates the impacts of currency volatility on exports which is illustrated and analyzed in this research. Moreover, inflation and devaluation correlations and their impacts on import level of a country are studied through correlation and multiple regression analyses based on the data exported from OECD and World Bank. The results conclude that exchange rate volatility significantly impacts the trade balance in terms of imports and exports. Given the results, exchange rate is a non-trade barrier and affects foreign trade.

Abstract

One of the uniqueness and challenges of seafarers in working on a ship is transferring from one ship to another, where each ship is different so that the risks or dangers of each ship also vary. The purpose of this research is to find out the initial steps for seafarers who have just joined work, so that they are familiar with their new ship (safety equipment, equipment and work procedures, etc.) as well as the potential dangers that may occur including alarms, tasks and actions in dealing with these distress situations. The research uses a literature review method, with references to national and international regulations in the maritime sector, maritime publications, journals, books and other relevant sources. The results of the research, Shipboard Safety Familiarization is an obligation that must be given to crew members who have just joined a ship, even though by standard Seafarers before working on a ship already have knowledge and skills related to safety equipment, firefighting, medical, effective communication, and distress conditions. (from alarms, fastest refugee routes, to actions that must be implemented). Familiarization is provided by the Captain or appointed Officer and the Crew they replace regarding safety equipment and work equipment, Duties and Responsibilities according to position and when there is a Danger situation, rules and decisions regarding Work Safety and Security of the Company that operates the ship with a gradual duration of time

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of online customer reviews and price discounts partially and simultaneously on online impulsive buying of shopee users of the Faculty of Economics class of 2022. This study used quantitative research methods. The data collection procedure in this study is by making observations, distributing questionnaires / questionnaires and documentation. The results of the research obtained are that the online customer review variable partially negatively affects online impulsive buying of shopee users, students of the Faculty of Economics, class of 2022. The price discount variable partially has a positive and significant effect on online impulsive buying of students of the Faculty of Economics class of 2022 who are shope users. Simultaneously, the variables of online customer reviews and price discounts have a positive and significant effect on online impulsive buying.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of environmental performance on company value by mediating financial performance and good corporate governance. The research objective is to find empirical evidence about (1) the influence of environmental performance on company value, (2) the influence of environmental performance on financial performance, (3) the influence of environmental performance on good corporate governance. (4) the influence of financial performance on company value. (5) the influence of Good Corporate Governance on company value, (6) the influence of environmental performance on company value by mediating financial performance, (7) the influence of environmental performance on company value by mediating Good Corporate Governance. Environmental performance is measured using PROPER and company value is measured using Price Book Value, for the mediating variable Environmental Financial Performance is measured using ROA, Good Corporate Governance is measured using institutional ownership. The object of this research is a group of manufacturing industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2015-2019 period. The research sample was 55 companies with 5 years of observation. The data analysis test tool used warp PLS 5.0 software for each variable. The test results show that environmental performance has no significant effect on company value, environmental performance has a significant and positive effect on financial performance, environmental performance has a significant and positive effect on institutional ownership, financial performance has a significant and positive effect on company value, institutional ownership has no effect on company value. , Environmental Performance has an effect on company value through Financial Performance, Environmental Performance has no effect on company value through Institutional Ownership.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of gross profit, operating profit and net income on predicting future cash flow in consumer goods industry companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2018-2022. This research method uses a quantitative research approach with experimental research types. The samples this study were 23 companies with the sampling technique using purposive sampling method so that. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that gross profit has a significant effect on predicting future cash flow whit a t-count value of 17,769 > t-table of 1,980 and a significant value of 0,000 < 0,05. Operating profit has a negative and significant effect on predicting future cash flow with a t-count value of -7,116 > t- table of 1,980 and a significant value of 0,000 < 0,05. Net income has a significant effect on predicting future cash flow with a t-count value of 3,488 > t- table of 1,980 and a significant value of 0,001 < 0,05. While the result of the study simultaneous gross profit, operating profit and net income have a significant effect on predicting future cash flow with a f-count value of 673,251 > f-table of 3,08 and a significant value of 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

Green human resource practices in this era have been applied in all areas of company activity. The purpose of this systematic literature review is to analyse how Green Human Resources Management is implemented using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review method. Data were obtained from online databases, namely Taylor and Francis, Emerald Insight, SAGE, Springer, Frontiers, MDPI, and Dovepress (2019 - 2023) and 40 articles were obtained. By using the keyword search "green human resource management". The results of the analysis obtained that the implementation of green human resource practices and has an implementation of environmental performance, green employee behaviour, sustainability practices, green innovation, green behaviour, green recruitment and selection, green development and training.

Abstract

Management Information System is a system that provides data used to facilitate the decision-making process in addressing challenges faced by its users. This decision-making process involves responding to situations that run smoothly as well as situations that encounter issues, by identifying problems as situations that carry the potential for risk to the company or situations that hold the potential for benefits. This research aims to analyze the role of marketing management information systems at PT. BANK MANDIRI Tbk. The study is conducted using a literature review research method, which involves the analysis and collection of information from various literary sources related to the research topic under examination. The findings of the research indicate that the role of Information Systems in supporting Business Operations at PT. Bank Mandiri Tbk is of paramount significance. Without Information System Technology, the operational activities of PT. Bank Mandiri Tbk would be virtually impossible to carry out.

Abstract

The coffee industry in Indonesia is experiencing significant growth and making an important contribution to national economic growth. During the period 2016-2021, coffee consumption in Indonesia is estimated to grow at an average of 8.22% per year, and in 2021, coffee supply is estimated to reach 795 thousand tons, with consumption of 370 thousand tons, causing a surplus of around 425 thousand tons. This has led to the rise of the coffee shop business in Indonesia, causing the coffee-based market competition to be very tight, requiring coffee shops to provide something different to win this competition. This study aims to determine the effect of digital marketing, brand image and lifestyle on purchasing decisions in choosing a coffee shop in Yogyakarta. The population used in this study are consumers who often visit various coffee shops in Yogyakarta. The data used is primary data with 250 respondents. The data collection technique uses non probability sampling with convenience sampling method and is applied in google form. Analysis using the SEM method and processed using the Smart-PLS application. The results of this study indicate that of the three hypotheses have a positive effect and two hypotheses have no positive effect

Abstract

Management Information Systems are systems that help managers collect, manage and utilize information for effective decision making. Based on the definition obtained, the implementation of the management information system at PT Pos Indonesia consists of creating a database network system between departments in operational activities. In an effort to develop PT Pos Indonesia, it has implemented a business innovation, namely bill payment services, not only providing letter delivery services at the Post Office, it can now serve all forms of bill payments. PT Pos Indonesia has also created an application to support services and make it easier for customers to carry out their transaction needs, these applications are PosAja and PosPay. Then the obstacles faced during the implementation of the information management system at PT Pos Indonesia often occur overtime or delays in the data processing process due to frequent network disruptions and frequent system maintenance on applications, sudden changes in the system environment, and frequent policy changes in A management system that is less consistent makes it a bit difficult for employees.  Therefore, the author is interested in analyzing PT's marketing information system.
