Abstract

This study explores how influencer promotions affect consumer satisfaction levels in shopping through TikTok Shop. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this study collected data through interviews and user review analysis to understand the factors that contribute to customer satisfaction. The results revealed that aspects such as influencer credibility, engagement in live shopping sessions, and transparency in product reviews play an important role in increasing buyer satisfaction. However, several challenges are still faced, such as product mismatch with description and inadequate customer service. These findings provide valuable insights for business actors and influencers in developing more effective marketing strategies to improve consumer shopping experiences.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the digital archive management system, examine the obstacles faced, and evaluate the feasibility of the available facilities. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the archiving process at PT Java Indoku is still carried out manually and digitally at the same time without an organized central system. The main obstacles found include the absence of digital archive servers, the lack of clear standards in document storage, limited supporting facilities, and the lack of a strategic plan to implement a comprehensive digital archiving system. Therefore, the implementation of integrated digital archive management is expected to be a solution to increase the effectiveness of business processes and overall company information management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality, price, and promotion on customer satisfaction at Boy Supermarket Batam. The background of this research is based on the importance of customer satisfaction in enhancing customer loyalty and maintaining competitiveness in the increasingly competitive retail industry. The independent variables in this study are service quality, price, and promotion, while the dependent variable is customer satisfaction. This research employs a quantitative method with descriptive and associative approaches. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to customers of Boy Supermarket Batam. The data analysis techniques used include validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, and F-test. The results show that partially, service quality, price, and promotion have an effect on customer satisfaction. Simultaneously, these three variables also have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. The descriptive analysis indicates that all variables are in a good category; however, several aspects still need improvement, such as service consistency, price competitiveness, and promotion intensity. The conclusion of this study is that service quality, price, and promotion are important factors in shaping customer satisfaction. Therefore, management is recommended to improve service quality consistently, maintain price transparency and competitiveness, and enhance promotional effectiveness in order to increase customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The mobility of foreign nationals (WNA) entering Indonesia is increasing along with the development of globalization, investment, and international cooperation. In the Indonesian immigration system, every foreign national entering Indonesia is required to use a visa appropriate to their purpose of entry. One important instrument in this regulation is the visa index, which indicates the types of activities that visa holders can engage in while in Indonesia. However, in practice, various cases of incorrect use of the visa index are still found, particularly when foreign nationals use visit visas or business visas for work activities. This condition can lead to violations of immigration provisions and has the potential to affect the orderly management of foreign workers in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the legal regulations regarding visas and the visa index in the Indonesian immigration system, examine the phenomenon of incorrect use of the visa index by foreign nationals for work purposes, and identify the causal factors and government efforts to prevent visa misuse. This study uses a normative legal research method with a qualitative approach. The approaches used include a statutory regulatory approach, a conceptual approach, and a case approach. The data used is secondary data obtained through a literature review of laws and regulations, scientific journals, books, and official sources related to immigration policy in Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that errors in the use of the visa index by foreign nationals are caused by several factors, including a lack of understanding of immigration regulations, the complexity of work visa application procedures, the need for foreign workers in certain sectors, and limited supervision. Therefore, increased supervision, strict law enforcement, and the dissemination of immigration regulations are needed to ensure that visa use by foreign nationals is in accordance with applicable laws.

Abstract

The increasing number of foreigners, particularly refugees and asylum seekers in Indonesia, has complex implications for the country's legal, social, and fiscal aspects. This study aims to analyze the state's burden in managing foreigners in Immigration Detention Centers (Rudenim) and evaluate the effectiveness of immigration policies in responding to non-compliance by countries of origin. This study uses normative legal methods with a statutory and conceptual approach. The results show that the management of detainees in Rudenim faces various obstacles, including limited facilities and human resources, and lengthy detention periods due to the lack of certainty of repatriation. Furthermore, cooperation with international organizations such as UNHCR and IOM has not been able to significantly reduce the state's burden. This condition causes Indonesia to bear a relatively high fiscal burden in the context of transnational migration. This study concludes that a more integrative reformulation of immigration policy, based on international diplomacy, and the development of alternative detention policies is needed to balance humanitarian aspects, national security, and state budget efficiency.

Abstract

Objectives This study aims to investigate how social media, brand image, and product quality influence consumer purchasing decisions at Melia Boutique Batam. This focus was chosen considering that the fashion retail business is operating amidst the intense competition of the current digital era. Methodology  Using a quantitative approach, this research involved 86 customers as respondents, recruited through an accidental sampling technique. The data collection process relied on a structured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale. Before testing the hypotheses through multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 22.0 software, all instruments and data were validated through a series of tests, including validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. Main Findings  Data analysis demonstrated a positive and significant impact of social media utilization, brand image, and product quality on purchasing decisions. Among these three factors, product quality emerged as the most dominant predictor, followed by the role of social media, and then brand image. When tested simultaneously, these three variables convincingly explained the dynamics of changes in purchasing decisions. This indicates that the combination of an effective digital promotional strategy, a strong brand identity, and reliable products will work together to boost consumer confidence and trigger their intention to shop again .Originality The novelty of this research lies in the presentation of empirical evidence that specifically highlights the local fashion boutique ecosystem. This study provides a clear picture of how digital marketing, brand perception, and product quality interact to shape consumer shopping behavior patterns in the evolving retail environment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of occupational safety (X1), leadership (X2), and work discipline (X3) on employee performance (Y) at PT. Seven Clean Seas Batam. A quantitative research design was employed using a survey method, with purposive sampling applied to select 54 respondents who met the study criteria. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on employee performance. The findings indicate that partially, occupational safety (X1) has a significant positive effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.027 (< 0.05), while leadership (X2) does not show a significant effect, with a significance value of 0.786 (> 0.05). Work discipline (X3) has a strong and significant effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). When analyzed simultaneously, occupational safety, leadership, and work discipline together significantly influence employee performance (F = 134.284, sig. 0.000 < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.890, indicating that 89% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by these three factors. This study emphasizes the importance of enhancing occupational safety and work discipline to improve employee performance, while leadership should be further investigated for its indirect or moderating effects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of revenue, total debt, and company size on net profit of companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for the 2021–2024 period. The research data is secondary data in the form of financial reports published on the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, resulting in 15 companies across a four-year period. This study employed a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis.              The t-test results indicate that revenue has a positive and significant effect on net profit, with a t-value (6.693448) > t-table (2.00324) and a probability value (0.0000) < (0.05). Total debt does not significantly affect net profit, with a t-value (0.255620) < t-table (2.00324) and a probability value (0.7992) > significance value (0.05). Company size does not have a significant effect on net profit with a calculated t value (0.782000) < t table (2.00324) and a probability value (0.4375) > significance value (0.05). The results of the f test show that the three X variables simultaneously affect net profit with calculated F > F table, namely 20.27371 > 2.77 and a probability value < significance value, namely 0.000000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of live streaming and flash sales on impulse buying behavior on TikTok Shop, specifically in the context of skincare product purchases. A quantitative approach with an associative research type was employed. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to residents of Karang Bahagia District who met specific criteria. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with a total of 96 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, preceded by classical assumption tests including normality, linearity, heteroscedasticity, and multicollinearity tests. Data processing was performed using SPSS version 26. The results revealed that simultaneously, both independent variables live streaming and flash sales have a significant effect on impulse buying (F-value = 18.909 > F-table = 3.09; sig. = 0.000 < 0.05). Theregression equation obtained is Y = 40.517 + 0.286X₁ + 0.080X₂. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.290, indicating that 29.0% of the variation in impulse buying is explained by live streaming and flash sale variables, while the remaining 71.0% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

The logistics sector is one of the primary contributors to global carbon emissions, necessitating a transition toward more environmentally friendly practices. This study aims to analyze the implementation of green logistics based on intermodal transportation supported by Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to strengthen supply chain sustainability in Indonesia, using PT Kereta Api Logistik Indonesia (KALOG) as a case study. The method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review and secondary data analysis from industry reports and relevant scientific journals. The results indicate that the integration of intermodal transportation supported by digital systems can significantly enhance operational efficiency and reduce carbon emissions through route optimization and load consolidation. However, the primary challenges remain in the limited connectivity of intermodal infrastructure and the lack of information system standardization. This research provides important implications for policymakers in accelerating the digitalization of national logistics infrastructure to achieve sustainability targets.
