Abstract

Women's participation in the workforce is crucial for driving economic growth. Empowering women economically is key to combating poverty by providing access to and control over resources needed to earn a sustainable and long-term livelihood. The data used in this research is sourced from the 2022 National Socioeconomic Survey published by the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics. The research approach is quantitative, with data analysis employing binary logistic regression. The results of the study indicate that the factors suspected to influence the labor force participation of married women in Indonesia have a significant overall effect. The variable of household size has a significant negative effect, meaning it tends to reduce the probability of married women participating in the labor market. Conversely, the variables of education, age, status, Family Hope Program, region, credit ownership, and motorbike ownership have significant positive effects, meaning they tend to increase the probability of married women participating in the labor market.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of the Program Keluarga Harapan, a conditional cash transfer initiative, on reducing child labor in Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, the research employs logistic regression analysis on data from the 2022 National Socio-Economic Survey. The findings reveal that PKH significantly reduces the likelihood of child labor by 0.383 times, demonstrating its effectiveness in reallocating children's time from work to education. Additionally, factors such as child age, gender, household head characteristics, and rural residence significantly influence child labor prevalence. The study highlights the need for expanded program coverage, improved rural education access, and multi-sector collaboration to address the root causes of child labor.

Abstract

This research delves into the algorithmic complexities of the King of Diamonds game from Alice in Borderland II, a unique variant of the Keynesian Beauty Contest. This game features imperfect information, dynamic player elimination, and a critical rule where the objective is to choose a number closest to 80% of the average of all chosen numbers. We propose and evaluate a Bayesian Learning Agent designed to adapt its strategy against diverse opponents. The BLA employs Bayesian inference to dynamically update its beliefs about opponent behaviors, integrating these predictions into a Keynesian Beauty Contest decision-making framework. Through extensive simulations, the BLA consistently demonstrates superior performance. For instance, in games against four random opponents, the BLA achieved a survival rate of 67.00%, significantly outperforming the random players' combined 33.00% survival rate, and consistently maintained an average absolute distance to the target of 10.59 units across rounds. Notably, against four naive Fifty players, the BLA achieved a 100.00% survival rate with an extremely low average distance of 0.08 units, concluding games in a single round. Furthermore, the study provides a specialized algorithmic analysis for the game's challenging two-player endgame, where it exhibited a 1.30% draw rate in relevant scenarios. Our findings offer novel insights into designing adaptive AI agents for complex, imperfect information games with unique convergence dynamics, extending the understanding of computational strategies in evolving competitive environments.

Abstract

This study aims to examine consumer behavior in healthcare by consolidating fragmented findings, identifying dominant themes, and providing a coherent framework for future research. Through a systematic literature review, five interconnected research streams were identified: educational and behavioral interventions, system-level healthcare delivery, psychological and behavioral drivers, technology-mediated experiences, and demographic and social determinants. Based on this synthesis, four strategic directions are proposed for future research: patient-centered segmentation and behavioral profiling to tailor nursing services, experiential factors influencing patient satisfaction and loyalty; ethical and cultural dimensions of consumer expectations, especially in multicultural and aging populations, and consumer feedback and engagement in co-designing nursing services. These insights offer a roadmap for developing inclusive, responsive, and emotionally intelligent healthcare systems. The study contributes to the literature by integrating diverse perspectives into a unified structure, enabling researchers and practitioners to better understand and respond to evolving consumer needs in healthcare. Implications include the need for personalized care models, culturally sensitive frameworks, and investment in digital health tools.

Abstract

The high rate of youth unemployment in Indonesia is one of the major issues that the country is facing and requires serious attention from the government. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that influence youth unemployment in Indonesia during the period from 2020 to 2021 across 34 provinces. A panel data regression using the Random Effects approach was employed as the analytical method. This study aims to analyze the impact of work experience, place of residence, and marital status on youth unemployment. The findings indicate that, collectively, work experience, place of residence, and marital status have a significant effect on the youth unemployment rate. However, when examined individually, only work experience and place of residence are found to have a significant influence on youth unemployment. Work experience has a negative and significant impact, indicating that individuals with prior work experience are less likely to be unemployed. In contrast, place of residence has a positive and significant effect, suggesting that certain living environments may increase the likelihood of unemployment among youth. Meanwhile, marital status does not have a statistically significant influence on youth unemployment in the 34 provinces of Indonesia during the 2020–2021 period.

Abstract

The phenomenon of high turnover intention in generation Z is a serious concern for many companies including in the property industry which has a fast work rhythm and high pressure. Generation Z is known to have unique characteristics in working such as valuing work flexibility, work-life balance, having high expectations of the work environment and changing jobs more quickly. Factors that are thought to influence this tendency include flexible working arrangements, workload and job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze how these three variables influence turnover intention in generation Z employees at a property developer company in Bandung. This study uses an associative quantitative approach with a non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling with a judgment sampling approach where 165 people were used as research samples. This study was analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares method. The results of the study indicate that flexible working arrangements have a significant negative effect on turnover intention, workload has a significant positive effect on turnover intention and job satisfaction has a significant negative effect. This study contributes to the development of management practices, especially strategies to retain generation Z employees in the dynamic property industry.
