Abstract

Competitive work environments often trigger work stress, which negatively impacts employee performance and increases turnover intention. This condition requires effective stress management strategies to maintain productivity and reduce turnover rates. This study aims to analyze the impact of work stress management strategies on employee performance and turnover intention in a competitive work environment. The method used is a quantitative approach with a survey of 200 employees from various industries who face high work pressure. Data were analyzed using multiple regression models to measure the effect of stress management strategy variables on performance and turnover intention. The results showed that the implementation of effective stress management strategies, such as employee welfare programs, time management, and communication skills training, significantly improved employee performance and decreased turnover intention. The implication of this study is the importance of companies to design and implement sustainable stress management programs as part of organizational policies to create a healthy and productive work environment.

Abstract

The phenomenon of high turnover intention in a competitive work environment is a significant challenge for organizations, especially when work overload and job stress become dominant factors that influence employees' decisions to leave their jobs. This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effects of work overload on turnover intention through the mediation of job stress. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through a survey of 250 respondents from various industrial sectors in urban Indonesia, and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) techniques. The results showed that work overload has a positive and significant influence on job stress and turnover intention, with job stress acting as a partial mediator in the relationship. The practical implications of these findings indicate the importance of organizations in managing employee workload and creating a supportive work environment to reduce job stress and improve employee retention. This study has limitations in geographically and sectorally limited sample coverage, so further studies with a more comprehensive approach are proposed to strengthen the generalizability of the results as well as explore other factors that may moderate the relationship between variables.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of job training, communication on turnover intention mediated by job satisfaction in the Gen Z workforce in Pontianak City with 208 respondents. This research is quantitative in nature which uses snow ball technique in data collection. The data obtained is processed using WarpPLS 8.0. The results of this study indicate that job training, communication has a significant positive effect on turnover intention, job satisfaction has a significant negative effect on turnover intention, job training, communication has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, and job satisfaction can significantly mediate the effect of job training, communication on turnover intention.

Abstract

A competitive work environment often creates stress that negatively impacts employee performance and increases turnover intention. This study aims to explore the relationship between job stress, performance, and turnover intention, and analyze the effectiveness of stress management strategies in reducing these negative impacts. Using a survey-based quantitative approach, data was collected from 100 employees in the technology, banking, and consulting sectors who faced high performance pressure. The research instruments included the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), Job Performance Scale, and Turnover Intention Scale. Data analysis showed that job stress had a significant negative correlation with performance (r = -0.53, p < 0.01) and a significant positive correlation with turnover intention (r = 0.62, p < 0.01). Stress management strategies, such as stress management training and work-life balance programs, were found to be effective in improving employee performance and reducing turnover intention. This study provides practical implications for organizations to design stress management strategies based on sector needs, in order to create a healthier, more productive and sustainable work environment. Further studies are recommended to explore more innovative stress management interventions and their impact on other organizational aspects, such as job satisfaction and organizational culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and confirm the intellectual factors of village apparatus capital in improving services to the community. The method used in this study is Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), which aims to test the validity and reliability of the intellectual construct of capital consisting of human capital, structural capital, social capital, relational capital, cultural capital, customer capital, organizational capital, and service capital. Data was collected through a survey of village officials in Sungai Penuh City using a questionnaire that had been tested previously. The results of the measurement of CFA first order on the latent variable there is one variable that is not significant, namely service capital with an LFE value of < 0.5. Intellectual capital exerts a good and considerable influence on the performance of village apparatus in Sungai Penuh City, while knowledge has no positive and significant effect on the performance of village apparatus in Sungai Penuh City. To see the role of knowledge as an intervening variable, it can be concluded that the correlation between Intellectual capital and the performance of village apparatus in Sungai Penuh City is better without going through the knowledge variable as a mediating variable in improving the performance of the village apparatus in Sungai Penuh City.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of tacit knowledge loss due to employee turnover on operational efficiency, innovation capability, and customer satisfaction by examining the mediating role of tacit knowledge loss and the mitigating effect of knowledge transfer effectiveness. Using an explanatory quantitative approach, we collected data through closed-ended questionnaires and secondary data from 200 respondents in the manufacturing, service, and MSME sectors in Bangka Belitung. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis results revealed that employee turnover significantly increases tacit knowledge loss, which is detrimental to operational efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction. This study also highlights that effective knowledge transfer, especially through structured mentoring programs, reduces the impact of tacit knowledge loss. These findings strengthen the resource-based view and knowledge management theory. In addition, our study shows that integrating CRM technology reduces the impact of tacit knowledge loss on customer satisfaction—a previously unexplored factor. Practical implications include recommendations for HR policies that focus on knowledge retention, collaborative training, and technology adaptation for organizations in the digital era. These findings emphasize the importance of a holistic approach that combines social interactions, knowledge management systems, and local cultural contexts to minimize the risk of brain drain.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether transparency and accountability affect the level of muzakki trust in amil zakat institutions at the Amil Zakat Infaq, Shadaqah Nahdatul Ulama Institute of Nusa Tenggara Barat. This type of research is a quantitative approach with primary data where the data collection method uses a questionnaire method distributed within the scope of LAZISNU NTB.  The independent variables in this study are Transparency (X1) and Accountability (X2) and the dependent variable is Muzakki Trust (Y). The sample method used is nonprobability sampling, and there are 61 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that partial transparency has no significant effect on muzakki trust can be seen from the r test count on the variable relationship of 1.157 with a significant 0.252> 0.005, Accountability partially has a positive and significant effect on muzakki trust in the amil zakat infaq and shadaqah Nahdatul Ulama Nusa Tenggara Barat can be seen from the t test count on the variable relationship of 3. 233 with a significant 0.002 <0.005, transparency and accountability seen from the F test counted 34,294 with a significance of 0.000 simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on muzakki trust in amil zakat institutions, infaq and shadaqah nahdatul ulama Nusa Tenggara Barat.
