Abstract

The phenomenon that occurred in the City of Tangerang, Banten, as designed by the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPEDA) in forming Thematic Villages with the following details as many as 301 have been formed and 253 are only in the pilot stage, while 186 are in the preparatory stage of being formed. Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Office in the last nine months has formed more than 400 Small and Medium Enterprises until the formation of Thematic Villages has emerged. Cipadu Jaya Village is one of the villages that is active in nurturing its citizens to be able to build a people's economy, especially Residents of RT 003 RW 03 by managing an area of 600 M2 which is located next to the village. Cucumber, okrak, banana tree plants, cassava, as well as land fisheries cultivation such as catfish, the results of the land management in question can be enjoyed for daily necessities. The theoretical concept used is social communication with the lecture/discussion method as well as face-to-face socialization with residents of RT 003 RW 03, Cipadu Jaya Village, Larangan District, Tangerang City, Banten Province, the result of Community Service is that social communication can improve the people's economy. Abstract

The use of internet-based communication media is growing rapidly, so it is called the communication revolution. The positive impact of this massive development is the ease of communication. However, it also has negative impacts. One of the negative impacts is the use of the internet among adolescent students who are emotionally immature. This condition is often accompanied by the lack of internet rules and ethical knowledge that could pose a dangerous situation because these teenagers have the potential to become victims or perpetrators of internet crimes. One possible way to reduce the negative impact is by holding community service in the form of training and discussions on Safe Internet for the Youth at Muhammadiyah Junior High School Gunung Putri. With the aim of increasing awareness to use internet media safely, activities are carried out by providing knowledge about internet rules and ethics, recognizing hoaxes, and strengthening from the religious side.

Abstract

The Public Information Openness Index has become the government's moral responsibility and a form of concern for the nation.  This also involved academics as a form of community service program. There are 3 (three) stages in its implementation, namely equalization of perceptions, preparation of indicators, and realization. There are 3 (three) dimensions of the Public Information Disclosure Index, namely the political, legal and economic environments. Data and scores from expert panelists are processed to determine the level of public information disclosure. The results of this activity are forwarded to the Central Information Commission, as an input for the government to formulate policies and budgets, as well as to report to the United Nations on information disclosure in Indonesia.

Abstract

Online loans (pinjol) are increasingly widespread, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. People who are experiencing economic difficulties are also trying to find alternative loans to meet urgent needs. The attitude of vigilance must also be increased in applying for this loan because many illegal loans are not registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK). All communities, including students, need to be careful not to get caught up in the detrimental effects of illegal loans. This community service activity is expected to increase the knowledge of the participants about online loans so that they can help overcome public ignorance, especially for housewives about using online loan applications, so they can be smart in choosing and deciding to borrow funds online. This activity was carried out for 1 (one) day, namely on November 4, 2021 in the multipurpose room of residents around Duri Kosambi Cengkareng Village. The implementation method is done by giving lectures and interactive discussions. All participants gave a positive response about the socialization activities provided.

Abstract

Literacy is the ability to use information and knowledge to increase intelligence according to changes. Government programs must collaborate with various parties other than schools that formally and non-formally carry out literacy, community groups, both non-governmental organizations, communities and other elements of society. Each contributes according to their abilities and capacities. One method that is being tried as a response to the findings in various studies that have been carried out related to literacy in Indonesia is to carry out Community Service in the form of discussions and knowledge dissemination entitled "The Literacy Movement for Students Through "Tantangab Membaca" in Tali Jaranan, East Jakarta". The goal is to increase participation from various parties, both government and non-governmental groups, this activity is carried out by holding reading challenges and presentations regarding the importance of literacy and community participation. Evaluation of the implementation of activities is carried out by telling stories/discussions about materials related to literacy participation.
