Abstract

The issue of Uninhabitable Housing (RTLH) represents a significant social problem that directly relates to the fulfillment of basic human needs for adequate shelter. The accuracy in determining prospective beneficiaries of RTLH social assistance is crucial to ensure fairness and effectiveness in government aid distribution. However, the selection process has often been conducted manually and subjectively, leading to inefficiency and potential bias in decision-making. This study aims to design and implement a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to enhance objectivity, transparency, and efficiency in the decision-making process for RTLH assistance beneficiaries. The system was developed using the Waterfall software development model, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing phases. Evaluation was conducted through Black Box Testing and a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to five village staff respondents. The results indicate that the system performs effectively with no detected functional errors and achieved an eligibility score of 92.4% (very good category). Hence, the developed system is feasible and effective in assisting village officials in objectively and transparently determining prospective RTLH social assistance recipients.

Abstract

Education holds a central position in the development of citizens and the nation. According to the Ministry of Education and Culture (KEMENDIKBUD), the graduation rate at vocational high schools (SMK) is only 65%. This study was conducted at SMK Ma’arif NU 01 Karangkobar with the objective of implementing an early student graduation prediction system based on academic performance and engagement data. A Streamlit-based Random Forest algorithm was applied to enable schools to anticipate students at risk of not graduating on time and to reduce cases of conditional graduation. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) methodology with a quantitative descriptive and applied experimental approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and literature review. The system was developed using the Waterfall model through the stages of Requirement Analysis, System Design, Implementation, Integration, and Testing. System design involved Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) at Levels 0–3 and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), while the implementation was carried out using the Python programming language, the Streamlit framework, and libraries such as pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn. The user interface was designed using Figma, and diagrams were constructed with Draw.io. Evaluation results based on the Likert scale showed that the system achieved an overall satisfaction rate of 93% from a total of 35 respondents, consisting of 29 student respondents with 93% satisfaction and 6 teacher respondents with 95% satisfaction. This achievement falls into the “very good” category. These findings indicate that the graduation prediction system can effectively support schools in taking anticipatory measures and providing more targeted student guidance, thereby potentially improving the effectiveness of graduation management at the vocational high school (SMK) level.

Abstract

Waste management is one of the crucial issues in maintaining cleanliness and environmental sustainability. In Banjarnegara Regency, the process of recording and archiving waste data is still carried out manually, which hinders data storage, reporting, and retrieval. This condition poses a risk of data loss and delays in information management processes. The DPKPLH (Department of Housing, Settlement Areas, and Environment) of Banjarnegara requires a system that can support a more structured and easily accessible waste data archiving process. This research aims to design and implement a web-based information system for waste data archiving at the DPKPLH Banjarnegara using the prototype development method. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, questionnaires, and literature studies, while the sampling technique used was purposive sampling, involving two respondents directly related to the system. The results of the questionnaire-based testing showed a user satisfaction level of 97.78%, categorized as “strongly agree.” The developed system is capable of improving the efficiency of recording, storing, and retrieving waste archive data, providing an easy-to-use interface, and ensuring that data can only be accessed by authorized personnel. Therefore, this information system has proven to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of waste data archiving management at DPKPLH Banjarnegara.

Abstract

Asset inventory recording at BUMDes Akar Mandiri in Kemiriombo Village is still done manually using books, which is prone to errors and slows down the reporting process. This condition causes delays in decision-making related to repairs or replacements and reduces operational efficiency. This study aims to develop a web-based asset inventory information system using the FAST method to assist in digital asset recording. The Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST) method was chosen because it has systematic stages, from scope definition to system installation. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data obtained was used to design a web-based system using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The black box test results showed that all features worked as required, while the user questionnaire results reached 90.3 percent in the excellent category. The implementation of the system proved to be able to address the previous manual recording problems and meet the needs of BUMDes Akar Mandiri. Based on these results, this web-based asset inventory information system was successfully developed and is capable of improving efficiency in asset data collection and reporting. This research is expected to serve as a reference for the development of similar systems in other government institutions.

Abstract

BUMDes Arto Moro in Tukinggedong Village still faces challenges in managing sales, recording transactions, and monitoring inventory, which are currently performed manually. This study aims to design and implement a web-based e-commerce system using the Agile method to support digitalization of sales management and product marketing more efficiently and transparently. The research employed a qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires distributed to system users. The black-box testing results indicate that all system features functioned according to requirements. Furthermore, questionnaire results show that administrators rated the system 94% (very good), indicating operational effectiveness, while customers rated 92% (very good), showing usability and satisfaction. This confirms that the developed system effectively replaces manual methods, simplifies transactions, and accelerates inventory management for BUMDes.

Abstract

Blang Pulo merupakan desa yang terletak di Kabupaten Aceh Utara, menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan data kependudukan akibat meningkatnya mobilitas penduduk, baik karena faktor pekerjaan, pendidikan, maupun migrasi. Penduduk pendatang yang bersifat musiman menambah kompleksitas dalam proses pendataan. Selama ini, proses pendataan masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga rawan terhadap kesalahan dan tidak efisien. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dibutuhkan sistem informasi yang mampu mengotomatisasi pendataan penduduk pendatang secara cepat, akurat, dan terintegrasi. Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Pendataan Penduduk Pendatang ini diharapkan menjadi solusi efektif dalam mendukung perencanaan pembangunan, keamanan, dan pelayanan publik di desa. Melalui sistem ini, data dapat dikelola secara real-time dan digunakan sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan. Laporan ini disusun untuk menjelaskan latar belakang, tujuan, manfaat, serta rancangan dari sistem yang dikembangkan, sekaligus menjadi referensi bagi desa lain dalam meningkatkan kualitas tata kelola kependudukan.

Abstract

The research examines cyber attack threats on network systems using a machine learning approach based on the Naive Bayes Classifier to detect such threats. The NSL-KDD dataset was used as the data source, with preprocessing and model training conducted in the Google Colab environment using the Python programming language. The model testing results indicate that this approach is effective in classifying network data into normal and attack categories with a high level of accuracy. This study contributes to enhancing network system security through faster and more accurate threat detection.

Abstract

Ruga palatal merupakan pola khas pada langit-langit mulut yang dapat digunakan sebagai biometrik untuk identifikasi individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan metode identifikasi citra digital ruga palatal menggunakan Moment Invariant sebagai ekstraktor fitur dan Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) sebagai teknik pencocokan pola. Proses penelitian dimulai dengan pengambilan citra ruga palatal secara digital, diikuti dengan pra-pemrosesan untuk meningkatkan kualitas citra, segmentasi pola ruga, dan ekstraksi fitur menggunakan Moment Invariant untuk memperoleh representasi numerik yang tahan terhadap rotasi, skala, dan translasi. Selanjutnya, teknik DTW diterapkan untuk membandingkan kesamaan pola fitur antara sampel uji dan database referensi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi Moment Invariant dan DTW mampu mengenali pola ruga palatal dengan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi, menunjukkan potensi metode ini sebagai alat identifikasi biometrik yang efektif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan sistem identifikasi berbasis citra ruga palatal yang andal dan praktis.

Abstract

The retail industry faces significant challenges in managing massive transaction data volumes. Reliance on operational systems (OLTP) often hinders complex historical data analysis. This study aims to design and implement a Data Warehouse using the Star Schema approach to support efficient retail sales analysis. Utilizing the Sample Superstore dataset, the development follows Kimball’s methodology with technical ETL implementation on PostgreSQL. The research produced a Star Schema architecture consisting of one fact table and five dimension tables. Validation testing confirmed complete data integrity during migration. The results demonstrate the system's capability to present rapid multidimensional insights, including positive annual sales trends and profitability disparities across product categories. This implementation proves that PostgreSQL effectively serves as a robust infrastructure for business intelligence, providing a solid foundation for strategic management decision-making.

Abstract

Financial and cash management in schools, such as recording student fees, BOS funds, and operational expenses, is often still done manually. This manual process is prone to recording errors (human error), takes a long time to recapitulate, and makes it difficult to prepare financial reports quickly and accurately. This study aims to design and implement a desktop-based information system called SIKAS (School Financial and Cash Management System) to address these issues. This application was built using the Visual Basic (VB.NET) programming language with a MySQL database management system. The result of this research is a functional SIKAS desktop application capable of managing master data, recording income and expenditure transactions, and automatically generating monthly financial reports. With the SIKAS system, it is hoped that the financial administration process in schools can run more efficiently, effectively, and accurately.
