Abstract

Majlis taklim plays a vital role in community religious education, yet often faces challenges such as limited funding, reliance on donors, and weak modern management models. These conditions require innovative entrepreneurial planning to strengthen the institution’s economic base and ensure sustainable da’wah. This study employs a qualitative method using literature review and descriptive analysis on Islamic entrepreneurship, da’wah management, and case studies of majlis taklim with sharia-based enterprises. The findings reveal that entrepreneurial innovation planning, supported by SWOT analysis, enables majlis taklim to design adaptive strategic visions. Innovative practices such as halal product businesses, sharia cooperatives, and digital platforms strengthen the independence of da’wah activities. Although constrained by limited human resources and low entrepreneurial literacy, development opportunities remain open through managerial capacity building and collaboration. Thus, entrepreneurial innovation serves as an effective strategy for majlis taklim to achieve independent and sustainable da’wah.

Abstract

The current library environment is experiencing rapid data collection, particulary from the daily activity of borrowing and returning books. This vast amount of data could potentially be utilized for analysis, but in practice, library information systems are often used solely for operational purposes. Consequently, opportunities to extract valuable insights from this data are limited. Given the situation, this study attempts to design and implement a data warehouse focused on analyzing book borrowing and returning patterns, utilizing PostgreSQL as the primary platform. The research process involved several stages, starting with data collection, needs analysis, data warehouse model design using the star schema, and implementation into PostgreSQL. Afterward, an ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) process was performed to able to combine library transaction data into a more structured and ready for analysis. From this data, the system was able to generate various insights, such as patterns of books that were borrowed most, medim, and least.

Abstract

Operational sales data is often fragmented, impeding management from developing data driven marketing strategies. This research aims to conceptually design a data warehouse to support sales marketing strategy decision making. The method utilizes a descriptive-conceptual approach employing the Kimball’s Nine-Step methodology on the Superstore Sales Data (2025) dataset from Kaggle. The resulting design is a Star Schema, which integrates historical data (customer, product, region, and time). Via the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load). The derived multidimensional analysis yields critical insights: Furniture products are the primary profit drivers, the Home Office segment demonstrates superior profitability, and the Q4 seasonal pattern (October-December) is the consistent sales speak. This data warehouse model proves effective in providing structured, actionable insights for marketing profit optimization.

Abstract

Libraries expand their book collections every year, making managing and organizing shelves increasingly challenging. This makes finding and grouping relevant books quite time – consuming, especially when the data is already quite large. Therfore, this study attemps to utilize data mining methods, specifically the K-Means algorithm, to help group books based on certain similarities, such as category and borrowing. Before the grouping process is carried out, the book data first goes through preprocessing and normalization stages to make data look neat and ready to be processed. Furthermore, the K-Means algorithm is used to generate several groups of books with similar characteristics. From the data processing results, K-Means has been proven to be able to form several fairly clear clusters, this sifnificantly assisting libraries in organizing books, providing reading recommendations, and improving the quality of service for students and lecturers. Overall, the implementations of the K-Means algorithm in this library can accelerate collection management work and support a more data – driven decision – making process.

Abstract

The volatility of air quality in Jakarta, which often deteriorates abruptly, demands a proactive early warning mechanism rather than mere real-time monitoring. A major limitation in environmental datasets is the class imbalance, where extreme hazardous conditions are recorded much less frequently than normal conditions, causing them to be overlooked by standard prediction models. This study aims to develop an H+1 (next-day) air quality prediction system by integrating the Random Forest algorithm with the SMOTE (Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique) data balancing technique. A Time-Lag feature engineering approach was applied to transform historical data from 2010-2025 into future predictive variables. Experimental results demonstrate that the application of SMOTE successfully improved the model's sensitivity in recognizing 'Unhealthy' categories that were previously difficult to detect. Feature analysis revealed that the accumulation of surface Ozone (O3) and Particulate Matter (PM10) serve as the most dominant indicators triggering air status changes for the following day. This system is intended to serve as a health mitigation reference for the public prior to outdoor activities.

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Lunch program policy has triggered massive public discourse on social media X, reflecting diverse public perceptions toward government policy effectiveness. This study aims to optimize the performance of the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm by implementing Chi-Square Feature Selection to address high data dimensionality and noise challenges in social media text. A dataset of 10,524 tweets was acquired and processed through preprocessing, TF-IDF weighting, and lexicon-based automatic labeling. The results show that Chi-Square feature selection integration successfully reduced dimensions from 16,394 to the 1,000 best features without degrading accuracy. The linear kernel SVM model achieved an optimal accuracy rate of 91.12%. However, this study identifies that this high accuracy is heavily influenced by the dominance of the positive class, whereas performance on the negative and neutral classes remains limited due to data imbalance. Overall, feature optimization proved to increase computational efficiency while maintaining accuracy stability in mapping public responses to strategic national policies.
