Journal of Research in Educational Management invites scholars, researchers, and students to contribute the result of their studies and research in the areas related to Educational Management, which covers textual and fieldwork investigation with special reference to Leadership, Culture, and Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources Management, Innovation in Education, and Education Policy as well as the examination of contemporary issues in Educational Management. The articles of this journal are published every six months (2 issues per year). All articles will be reviewed by experts before being accepted for publication. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the application of word of mouth as a marketing strategy in educational institutions to increase public interest in An-Nadwa Integrated Elementary School. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type. Data analysis technique is done by data reduction, and followed by drawing conclusions. The results showed that word of mouth work as a marketing strategy in increasing public interest in the two institutions was carried out in three stages, namely: giving attention, interest, desire to the community about the existence of educational institutions. This research has implications for the importance of educational institutions in winning the competition.

Abstract

Conflict management is an important aspect in maintaining organizational sustainability. Conflicts can arise from a variety of sources, such as differences of opinion, goals or incompatible interests. However, when managed properly, conflict can be a source of innovation and improvement in organizations. This study aims to explore how conflict management can be used to maintain organizational sustainability. The research method used is a qualitative case study type. The results of this study indicate that leaders carry out: effective communication, tolerance, motivation and giving appreciation to maintain organizational sustainability at Nurul Jadid Paiton High School Probolinggo.

Abstract

The role of the leader is very important in the progress of an institution or agency. The leader is the driving force of all sources in an institution or agency, therefore the leader must have a good leadership capacity so that the goals of the institution or agency can be achieved. The focus of this research is how to implement prophetic leadership in improving the quality of education at MI Al-Husna Dawuhan Krejengan. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of professional leadership in improving the quality of education at MI Al-Husna Dawuhan Krejengan. This research uses a qualitative approach method of case study type, which is located prophetically in MI Al-Husna Dawuhan Village, Krejengan District, Probolinggo Regency- East Java. The source of the data is the informant. Using primary and secondary data with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The results of this study that the basis of the leadership of the Prophet applied by the head of the MI Al-Husna Dawuhan Krejengan madrasah is based on the mission of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, namely: the mission of humanization, the mission of liberation, the mission of plurality and tolerance, and moderation. The application of these 4 missions is carried out by applying the 4 qualities of the Prophet and Apostle, namely sidiq, amanah, tabligh and fathonah. the mission of liberation, the mission of plurality and tolerance, and moderation. Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in the competitiveness of raudlatul athfal involving branding image management in the era of society 5.0. This is qualitative research with a case study conducted at Raudlatul Athfal Perwanida III in a Probolinggo district. The sources of informants in this study were school principals, curriculum, public relations, teachers, and student guardians. Then to select and determine the informants in this study, researchers used a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used content/document analysis techniques, in-depth interviews, and events/observations. The method used to check the validity of the data is the triangulation method. The data analysis technique used in this research is interactive model analysis. The stages in analyzing the data in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results in this study indicate that first, Raudlatul Athfal Perwanida III involves branding image management in increasing Raudlatul Athfal's competitiveness in the era of society 5.0. Second, the control of the branding image management strategy is carried out using; Problem Mapping, Implementation of Branding Image, Result Branding Image and Continous Improvement. The implications obtained by carrying out branding image management can increase public confidence in choosing Raudlatul Athfal Perwanida III as an institution capable of educating the nation's next generation. the control of the branding image management strategy is carried out using; Problem Mapping, Implementation of Branding Image, Result Branding Image and Continous Improvement. Abstract

Professionalism of teachers is often associated with several important factors, namely teacher competence, teacher certification, and teacher professional allowances. These three factors are believed to be closely related to the advancement or decline of the quality of education in Indonesia. Therefore, the issue of teacher's professional competence needs to receive special attention or serious consideration from the school principal as the teacher's mentor. This research was conducted at madrassa based on pesantren with the aim of analyzing the implementation of academic supervision by the school principal in enhancing teacher's professional competence. The research focuses on implementation of Academic Supervision by the school principal in enhancing teacher's professional competence. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects are the school principal, vice principal, and teachers. Data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation/display, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is ensured through data triangulation. The research findings show that the implementation of Academic Supervision by the school principal in enhancing teacher's professional competence at madrassa based on pesantren includes individual techniques (observation, classroom visits, individual meetings, direct and indirect approaches) and group techniques (routine meetings, group discussions, and demonstrations, workshops).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the efforts to use information and communication technology  in optimizing the quality of public relations at Schools Based on Pesantren. This study uses qualitative methods to understand the use of information and communication technology  in public relations at Schools Based on Pesantren. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and participatory observation with students, teachers, madrasa staff, parents and local residents. Data analysis was carried out thematically to explore meanings and interpretations related to the use of information and communication technology  in improving the quality of public relations in the madrasa. The results of this work are a) Utilization of information and communication technology  at Schools Based on Pesantren aims to improve the quality of education and community relations through adequate technological facilities and two-way communication with the community, with proper support and training. Thus, madrasas create a modern and inclusive learning environment and build harmonious community relations. b) Utilization of information and communication technology  at Schools Based on Pesantren aims to improve the quality of community relations through two-way communication and easy access to information, with infrastructure challenges and human resource readiness that need to be overcome to create an inclusive and participatory environment.
