Abstract

Rejuvenation is the replacement of new unproductive plant with new plants that are more productive and profitable. In the cultivation of oil palm there are several alternative models of rejuvenation that can be applied including conventional rejuvenation, underplanting rejuvenation and conventional rejuvenation with intercropping. This research was conducted in the Rambutan PTP. Nusantara III (Company). The time of the study was carried out in February to July 2019. This research was conducted using descriptive analysis method, namely by collecting primary data and secondary data. Primary data, each data for conventional rejuvenation and underplanting model that is. Morfological observation (midrib) and secondary data. Each data for conventional rejuvenation and underplanting model viz, insert (2017, 2018, 2019) and interest and Fruit Calculation Data. The results showed that conventional rejuvenation techniques at the time before planting carried out include several stages including the felling of old plants and tillage until the area was ready for replanting so as to reduce the level of pest infestation and provide ideal soil for plant growth in the field. Mean wile for underplanting planting system places the insertion height ths hetat occurs in underplanting planting system which replace the disruption of young plant growth after the undisciplined implementation of underplanting technique. Poisoning of old plants is late and results in late mutation from TBM to TM ieless interest and fruit in the underplanting technique.

Abstract

Compensation and job satisfaction are factors that affect employee performance in achieving a company's goals. Employee performance is one of the factors that influence a company's success rate. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and job satisfaction on the performance of production employees at PT. Buana Tunas Sejahtera. The purpose of this study was to discover how the effect of compensation and job satisfaction on the performance of PT. Buana Tunas Sejahtera Seriang Mill located in Kapuas Hulu Regency, Badau District. The Multiple Linear Regression uses Analysis with a sample of 30 respondents production employees. Research analysis tool is a questionnaire with a Likert scale using SPSS version 22. The results in this compensation study did not affect employee performance with negative t test results, then job satisfaction had a significant effect on employee performance with positive T test results. Compensation and job satisfaction together have a significant positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Suspension media is made of natural ingredients to multiply microorganisms that can accelerate the destruction of organic matter. Banana hump contains water, iron, phosphorus, calcium, carbohydrates, calories and protein, which are potential as organic fertilizers. Application of banana weevil fertilizer is expected to increase the carrying capacity of the soil for the availability of organic matter and nutrients. The purpose of this study was to determine the best concentration or dose of organic liquid fertilizer for banana weevil on the vegetative growth of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) seedlings in the Main Nursery. Based on this statement, this research was compiled with the object of oil palm in the Main Nursery. This research was conducted in the Nursery Practice Garden area at STIP-AP Medan. Soil analysis was carried out at the Soil Laboratory of the Agricultural Technology Research Institute (BPTP) of North Sumatra. The time of the study was carried out for 8 months, from January 2021 - August 2021. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 2 factors, namely Factor (1) Liquid Organic Fertilizer Banana Cobs and Factor (2) Compound Fertilizer (NPK) 16:16 :16. The treatment was repeated 3 times, with the number of samples being 2 plants so that the sample population was 54 plants. Parameters observed were seedling height, stem circumference, number of leaves, leaf width, root wet weight, shoot wet weight, shoot dry weight, root dry weight, total nitrogen nutrient content and C-organic nutrient content. The data obtained were analyzed statistically by analysis of variance (ANOVA) with 5% and 1% significant difference tests. The results showed that the treatment of banana weevil liquid organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer had no significant effect on the observed parameters. However, the biomass formed was significantly affected as indicated by the weight parameter. The availability of total nitrogen and C-organic nutrients in Ultisol soil showed a very low classification with total nitrogen values ​​of 0.07 – 0.09% and C-organic values ​​of 0.22 – 0.54%.

Abstract

Keberhasilan pembangunan perkebunan kelapa sawit diawali dari penyediaan bibit yang standar sesuai dengan kriteria yang dikeluarkan oleh produsen kecambah. Nitrogen (N) adalah salah satu unsur hara yang sangat menentukan pertumbuhan kelapa sawit (Elaeis guinensis Jacq). Sumber pupuk nitrogen untuk pemupukan kelapa sawit bervariasi dari sumber alam maupun sintetik. Harga pupuk nitrogen yang terus meningkat menjadi dasar untuk melakukan penelitian ini, sehingga akan diperoleh alternatif lain sebagai sumber pupuk N di pembibitan utama kelapa sawit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh beberapa sumber pupuk nitrogen terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit (Elaeis guinensis jacq) di pembibitan utama. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial dengan 5 taraf yaitu N1 (pupuk urea), N2 (pupuk ZA), N3 (Pupuk Organik Cair dari Azolla microphylla 60 ml/liter H2O), N4 (pupuk hijau dari Azolla micropylla (50 g/polybag) dan N5 (pupuk kompos dari Azolla microphylla 50 g/polybag). Jumlah ulangan sebanyak 5; dengan jumlah bibit/plot sebanyak 3, sehingga jumlah bibit yang digunakan seluruhnya adalah 60 bibit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa sumber pupuk N tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman (cm) pada minggu 2 dan 4 setelah aplikasi perlakuan, tetapi berpengaruh nyata pada Minggu ke 6, 8, 10 dan 12 setelah aplikasi perlakuan, dengan bibit tertinggi pada N4 di umur 12 Minggu setelah aplikasi. Beberapa sumber pupuk N tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun umur 2 dan 4 minggu setelah aplikasi, dan berpengaruh nyata pada umur 6, 8, 10 dan 12 minggu setelah aplikasi, dengan jumlah daun tertinggi pada N3, tetapi tidak berbeda nyata dengan N4. Beberapa sumber pupuk Nitrogen tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap lingkar batang umur 2, 4, 6, 8 dan 12 minggu setelah aplikasi perlakuan, berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat basah dan berat kering akar pada umur 12 minggu setelah aplikasi dengan berat segar dan berat kering tertinggi pada N5 tetapi tidak berbeda nyata dengan N4 dan N3. Perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap Panjang akar. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah beberapa sumber pupuk nitrogen berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan kelapa sawit di pembibitan utama. Pupuk nitrogen yang bersumber dari Azolla microphylla dalam bentuk kompos, pupuk hijau dan POC berpengaruh sama baik terhadap jumlah daun, tinggi tanaman, berat basah dan kering akar. Azolla microphylla berpotensi digunakan sebagai alternatif pengganti pupuk ZA dan Urea pada kelapa sawit di pembibitan utama.

Abstract

Oil palm is a plantation crop that has an important role in Indonesia today. This plant is a plant that produces vegetable oil and its derivative products. This study aims to determine the effect of solid decanter waste application on the vegetative growth of oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq). This research was conducted in the research area of the Medan College of Agricultural Agribusiness (STIPAP) from January - July 2020. This study used a non factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of S0: Without decanter solid treatment, S1: 0,5 kg decanter solid, S2: 1,0 kg decanter solid, and S3: 1,5 kg decanter solid. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem girth, leaf chlorophyll content, shoot wet and dry weight, root wet and dry weight. The data obtained were analyzed statistically with analysis of variance (ANOVA) with further test of LSD 5%. The treatment of decanter solid application has a significant effect based on statistical tests on the vegetative growth of oil palm seedlings, namely on the height of the seeds and stem circumference with the value of F-count seed height > F-Table 0,5% at 8 MSA and F-Count on stem circumference > F- Table 0,1% at 16 MSA and 20 MSA, while the number of leaves, shoot wet and dry weight, root wet and dry weight and leaf chlorophyll content showed no significant effect

Abstract

Tanaman karet (Hevea brasiliensis) berasal dari negara Brazil. Pohon karet pertama kali hanya tumbuh di Amerika Selatan. Perkebunan karet di Indonesia mulai diperkenalkan sejak tahun 1864, yaitu sejak Hofland mendirikan perusahaan perkebunan karet di Tanah Panunukan dan Ciasem, Jawa Barat. Serangan yang diakibatkan oleh penyakit Pestalotiopsis sp. menunjukkan bercak cokelat pada daun karet dan adanya batas yang jelas antara bagian bercak dengan bagian daun yang masih sehat. Daun yang terinfeksi gugur sebelum waktunya. Umumnya yang terserang berat adalah tanaman karet yang sudah menghasilkan dan tidak terawat. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahuai tingkat resistensi beberapa klon introduksi yaitu PB 217, PB 260, PB 330, PB 340, RRIC 100, IRR 220 dan GT 1 terhadap penyakit gugur daun yaitu Pestalotiopsis sp. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorim Proteksi Tanaman Balai Penelitian Sungai Putih menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pengamatan 8 hari setelah inokulasi (hsi) intensitas serangan tertinggi ditemukan pada klon PB 217 dan GT 1 yaitu sebesar 89,9%6 dan 89,96%, sedangkan intensitas serangan terendah terdapat pada klon IRR 220 yaitu sebesar 81,64%.

Abstract

Panen merupakan salah faktor penentu untuk menghasilkan Tandan buah segar (TBS) yang berkualitas. TBS yang berkualitas merupakan faktor penentu Asam lemak bebas dan rendemen minyak yang dihasilkan. Untuk menghasilkan potensi CPO yang baik dibutuhkanlah sinergi antara bagian kebun dan bagian Pabrik kelapa sawit. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif yaitu menjelaskan sistem panen dan kaitannya terhadap mutu buah kelapa sawit. Data pengamatan berupa system panen yang terdiri atas Angka Kerapatan Panen (AKP) dan system ancak yang digunakan, Analisa potensi minyak sawit yang berupa Analisa ALB dan Rendemen CPO (Crude Palm Oil). Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sistem panen dikebun tanah raja divisi 1 PT. Bakrie Sumatera Plantatios, Tbk menggunakan ancak giring tetap dan Uji potensi minyak sawit menunjukkan bahwa Rendemen CPO 21,22% dan kadar ALB sebesar 2,42%.
