Abstract

Semivariogram merupakan perangkat dasar geostatistik yang digunakan untuk memvisualisasi, memodelkan, dan menghitung autokorelasi spasial dari antar data dalam suatu variabel. Semivariogram dibedakan menjadi dua, yaitu semivariogram eksperimental dan semivariogram teoritis. Terdapat tiga jenis model semivariogram teoritis, yaitu model spherical, model eksponensial, dan model gaussian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan model semivariogram terbaik berdasarkan nilai RMSE terkecil. Data penelitian ini adalah data sekunder eksplorasi emas yang terdiri dari data drillhole sebanyak 101 data. Proses pemilihan model semivariogram dimulai dengan menghitung semivariogram eksperimental, melakukan analisis struktural dengan mencocokkan kurva semivariogram eksperimental dengan kurva semivariogram teoritis model spherical, model eksponensial, dan model gaussian, diperoleh nilai nugget, sill, dan range pada masing – masing model semivariogram, menghitung nilai RMSE pada model spherical, model eksponensial, dan model gaussian. Nilai RMSE pada model spherical sebesar 0,3259, model eksponensial sebesar 0,2655, dan model gaussian sebesar 0,3224. Berdasarkan hasil RMSE, model semivariogram terbaik dengan nilai RMSE terkecil adalah model eksponensial.

Abstract

The measurement of 2D geoelectrical using Wenner-Schlumberger configuration has been conducted, in order to know the distribution of seawater intrusion in each depth. The result inversion is showed the seawater intrusion untuil 20m depth. The measurement result of rock ressitivity ranging from 0-10 Ωm is salt water, for brackish water between 10 Ωm untill less than 30 Ωm and the value more than 30 Ωm is estimated as fresh water. Another measurements namely water quality of dug well also carried out to measure such as: Electrical Conductivity (mS/cm), Total Dissolved Solid (g/L) and Salinity (ppt). The dug wells which on a line with PDAM wells, have a high DHL, TDS and Salinity value. The value of water quality measured then presented as a map of sea water intrusion. The combination of methods reported here is very important to be applied at coast vurnarable to seawater intrusion

Abstract

Sesar Grindulu merupakan salah satu sesar aktif di Kabupaten Pacitan yang aktivitasnya telah beberapa kali menyebabkan terjadinya gempabumi. Posisinya yang memanjang dengan arah timur laut – barat daya seakan membelah Kabupaten Pacitan menjadi dua bagian, hal ini membuat Sesar Grindulu menjadi ancaman serius bagi masyarakat Pacitan. Salah satu langkah mitigasi bencana yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan mengidentifikasi karakteristik Sesar Grindulu untuk mendapatkan informasi sebanyak mungkin. Dalam penelitian ini, tipe Sesar Grindulu ditentukan berdasarkan analisis pola tegasan menggunakan software Win-Tensor. Data masukan berupa dip dan strike adalah data sekunder hasil penelitian sebelumnya. Hasil analisis pola tegasan menunjukkan bahwa tegasan maksimum (σ1) merupakan gaya kompresi dan tegasan minimumnya (σ3) adalah gaya regangan, dimana keduanya berarah horisontal. Sedangkan tegasan menengahnya (σ2) berarah vertikal. Pola tegasan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Sesar Grindulu termasuk dalam jenis sesar geser mengiri. Sementara itu, hasil proyeksi stereografi memperlihatkan bahwa tegasan utamanya (σ1) berarah N17oE, sedangkan bidang sesarnya memiliki arah N60oE. Berdasarkan sistem sesar geser menurut konsep Moody dan Hill, Sesar Grindulu digolongkan ke dalam sesar geser orde pertama karena gaya kompresi terbesarnya menggerus pada sudut 43o.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kedalaman dan ketebalan lapisan batubara bedasarkan data Drilling dan Geophysics Logging menggunakan metode korelasi di areal tambang ‘X’. Untuk mengetahui kedalaman dan ketebalan lapisan batubara dengan data Drilling sudah cukup mampu, dengan adanya data Geophysics Logging memberikan penetrasi dan koreksi kedalaman dan ketebalan dari data Drilling. Dapat diketahui lapisan batubara dari Kurva Gamma Ray dan dikoreksi dengan metode korelasi. Dari hasil interpretasi logging di titik K-40, lapisan batubara terdapat pada kedalaman 10.0 – 13.0 m dengan ketebalan 3 m, pada kedalaman 29.0 – 34.0 m dengan ketebalan 5 m. Dari hasil interpretasi logging di titik SE-1542, lapisan batubara terdapat pada kedalaman 55.0 – 57.0 m dengan ketebalan 2 m. Dari hasil interpretasi logging di titik WN-17041, lapisan batubara terdapat pada kedalaman 16.0 – 20.0 m dengan ketebalan 4 m, pada kedalamam 28.5 – 29.5 dengan ketebalan 1 m.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was motivated by the level of coal quality at each depth of the layer. Each coal company needs to do a quality testing when conducting exploring. In addition to measuring the amount of potential coal reserves, it also measures the quality level of the coal. Whether if carried out exploration or excavation can provide benefits, therefore in this research the author will conduct research on the effect of the depth level of the layer of coal using parameters such as calorific value, total sulfur, fixed carbon, volatile matter, ash, and moisture. As for the place of this research conducted at PT. lamindo inter multikon mining area of Bunyu Island, Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan Province. From the results of this research it was found that the highest caloric value was the location of PIT 4.

Abstract

The geoelectric method is one of the geophysical methods. It studies the electrical properties on earth and detects on the surface of the earth. In this case includes the measurement of potential, currents and electromagnetic fields that occur either naturally or due to injection of current into the earth. This research was conducted at the mining site of PT. Bakal Makmur Sejahtera (BMS). Geographically, the mining location of PT. BMS is located at 173° 15' 32.8896" BT, 0° 10' 32.5209" LS. In the five line was measured to obtain the values of apparent resistivity (ρa) and apparent chargeability (ma) this using the Wenner-Schlumberger array of 3,900 data. These values are processed by the res2dinv program to obtain 2-D from each line. The results of geoelectric modeling there is an indication of iron ore from lines 1 to 6 with a distribution of resistivity values 43,5 Ω.m to 249 Ω.m and distribution of chargeability values 34,4 msec to 99,7 msec. The interpretation supporting by outcrop data in the field.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Some road bodies in East Borneo experienced landslide and land-deformation that presumably caused by weak zones. Aim of this research is to investigate weak zones existence by means of geoelectricity method. This research utilizes secondary data of geoelectricity method Wenner-Schlumberger configuration. Weak zones existence caused landslide and land-deformation interpreted with Res2DinV modeling software. Result of this research showed weak zones located in all acquisition lines; in line 1 existed in 13 – 26 meters depth; in line 2 existed in 16 – 36 meters depth; in line 3 existed in 13 – 40 meters depth; and in line 4 existed in 10 – 28 meters depth. Commonly, rock composition of a weak zones is claystone with 20 – 30 Ωm resistivity value and sandy-claystone with 30 – 250 Ωm resistivity value. Abstract

The study was conducted in Balikpapan Bay, Adang Bay, and Apar Bay to simulate sediment transport induced by tidal current. The sediment transport information is very important for environmental management as well as environmental impact analysis. This study has applied COHERENS (Coupled Hydrodynamical Ecological model for Regional and Shelf Seas). Barotropic mode of COHERENS has performed the simulation from 15 December 2012 to 14 January 2013, using 8 tidal component delivered from NAO99b as generation force. The model simulation result are verified using tides of observation data from 15 December to 31 December 2012 the Semayang Port. Verification result shows a good agreement between simulation data and observation. The RMSE is about 0.158 meter. In Balikpapan Bay the result shows higher concentration points is are located at Port area and Riko River Estuary, with sediment transport around 1.1577 x10-4 (kg/m2)/s, on Adang Bay the concentration point is located at inner part of Bay, with transport sediment around 1.6499 x10-4 (kg/m2)/s, and at Apar Bay concentration point is located at outer part of Bay, with sediment transport value around x10-15 (kg/m2)/s.

Abstract

Information on the intensity of gamma-rays scattered by the rock formation is contained in the density-log which is the output of a well logging system. In this research it was studied the relation of the intensities with the physical properties of the rocks in a rock formation. The study was performed by determining the intensities of gamma-rays scattered recorded in the data of density-log’s curves and continued by analyzing the rock’s physical properties that might decrease the intensities of gamma rays, such as molecular weight, coefficient of attenuation, and scattering cross-sectional. Result of the research was the graph which can be used to predict the properties of any sediment rocks by only using the scattered gamma ray intensities recorded in the data of density log.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah penduduk mengakibatkan kebutuhan air juga kian meningkat, dan daerah penelitian tersebut belum terdistribusi dan terjangkau oleh pelayanan air bersih PDAM. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui litologi batuan di lokasi penelitian dan untuk mengetahui keberadaan air tanah dan jenis akuifernya dengan Geolistrik VES (Vertical Electrical Sounding). Data penelitian Penelitian ini menggunakan data Geolistrik Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) dengan konfigurasi Schlumberger. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Litologi batuan berdasarkan pengukuran Geolistrik Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) di Kelurahan Liang, Kecamatan Kota Bangun terdapat 3 lapisan batuan yaitu lapisan penutup (top soil), lanau (silt), dan batu pasir (sand). Berdasarkan interpretasi cross-section dari Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) 1 hingga Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) 6 akuifer di daerah penelitian meliputi akuifer bebas dan akuifer bocor.
