Abstract

Teenagers today often experience sleep disturbances, this happens because teenagers prefer to be in front of screens such as gadgets, televisions and computers. In a day, teenagers use gadgets for 5-7 hours, so it takes around 60 minutes longer to fall asleep. Apart from using gadgets, another factor that can affect sleep quality is stress. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between gadget use and stress levels with sleep quality in adolescents at Puspita Medika Tapos Health Vocational School, Depok. Method: This research uses an analytical design with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used was a total sampling of 99 students. Results: based on statistical logistic regression tests on 99 respondents, a significant value of p = 0.045 was obtained, namely <0.05 for the gadget use variable and p = 0.001, namely <0.05 for stress levels. Conclusion: there is a relationship between gadget use and stress levels with sleep quality in teenagers at Puspita Medika Vocational School.

Method: This research is quantitative using a pre-experimental design method with a one group pre-post test design. The number of samples used was 15 respondents, the sampling technique used an accidental sampling approach. The statistical test in this study used the Wilcoxon Test. This research was conducted in Bogor, West Java. Results: It is known that the average MAP value before the intervention was 117 mmHg and after the intervention it decreased to 106 mmHg. Based on the Wilcoxon test, it is known that there is a difference in the average MAP value before and after the intervention (0.001 < 0.005). Conclusion: givinbusiam food has a significant positive effect on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive

Abstract

Excessive exposure to sunlight is a source of free radicals that cause damage to the skin such as redness, dullness, and aging, so skincare containing antioxidants is needed, one of which is a face mist made from carrot root extract. The carrot (Daucus carota L) is a plant rich in antioxidants such as β-carotene and vitamin C which can counteract free radicals. This research aims to determine whether carrot tuber extract can be formulated in a face mist preparation and to determine the value of antioxidant activity in the carrot tuber extract face mist preparation. The method used in this study is the experimental method. Preparation of carrot root extract was carried out using the maceration method with 70% ethanol solvent. Facemist carrot root extracts was made with various concentrations of FI 1%, FII 3%, and FIII 5%. All preparations were subjected to physical stability (organoleptic, pH, spray spreadability, dry time, and homogeneity) and antioxidant activity tests using the DPPH method. The results of physical stability stated that all formulas met the physical quality requirements. The antioxidant activity value of carrot tuber extracts facemist at concentrations of 1%, 3%, and 5% has an IC₅₀ value of 41.31ppm, 34.64ppm, and 28.80ppm respectively. This value is in the very strong category. The conclusion of this study is that carrot root extract can be formulated as a face mist preparation and has a very strong antioxidant value.

Abstract

According to Rahmi (2019) in Rimadeni et al. (2022), Sectio Caesarea (SC) is the act of removing the fetus and placenta by making an incision in the abdominal wall and uterus. SC can be an alternative delivery both for causes from the mother and from the fetus, one of which is because the fetus is entangled in the umbilical cord. The purpose of this writing is to find out and provide nursing care to Mrs. K in Nusa Indah Room, dr. Soeselo Hospital, Tegal Regency according to nursing standards. The method used is descriptive observation with a nursing process approach. From the case review, it was found that the client's main complaint was acute pain in the incision wound. There were three nursing diagnoses found, namely acute pain, risk of infection, and knowledge deficit. Interventions are prepared based on the theory of SLKI and SIKI as well as on the client's condition, and can be implemented. Based on the evaluation carried out on the client, two problems were resolved and one problem was partially resolved. During the research, the author found gaps in theory and data studied from patients
