Abstract

This research is conducted to know the effects of entrepreneurial orientation and sustainability orientation towards sustainable entrepreneurship of MSMEs in Jakarta with entrepreneurial bricolage as mediation. This research used non-probability sampling through convenience sampling to obtain 119 respondents which are the people in MSMEs in Jakarta that are in the creative economy sector. Data are collected online through a questionnaire distributed through Google Forms. The data are processed with PLS-SEM method and SmartPLS 3.3.3 software. Result shows that entrepreneurial orientation and sustainability orientation influenced entrepreneurial bricolage of MSMEs in Jakarta positively and significantly, entrepreneurial bricolage influenced sustainable entrepreneurship of MSMEs in Jakarta positively and significantly, and entrepreneurial bricolage mediates both relationship of entrepreneurial orientation and sustainability orientation with sustainable entrepreneurship of MSMEs in Jakarta positively and significantly.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of firm size, leverage and corporate governance mediated by intellectual capital on firm performance of food and beverages companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2018-2020. The sample used in this study were 36 companies using purposive sampling technique. The results of the analysis show that firm size and corporate governance does not have a significant effect on firm performance, while the leverage have a positive and significant effect on firm performance. Corporate governance does not have a significant effect on intellectual capital, while the firm size and leverage have a significant effect on intellectual capital. Firm size, leverage and corporate governance does not have a significant effect on firm performance using intellectual capital as mediation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine whether 1) Entrepreneurial orientation has a positive relationship to sustainable business growth. 2) Innovation has a positive relationship to sustainable business growth. The research design used is quantitatie research and uses a questionnaire for data collection. The number of samples obtained by the non-probability sampling method and purposive sampling technique were collected as many as 120 rice box SME’s owner West Jakarta which are then used in this study. Data were analysed using quantitative methods and distributing questionnaire questions with google form then in taking data using a Likert scale and using data analysis techniques Structural Equation Modelling - Partial Least Square assisted by Smart PLS version 3.0 software. The level of significance was measured through a bootstrapping procedure. The results show that indeed entrepreneurial orientation has a significant positive relationship to sustainable business growth, Innovation has a significant positive relationship to sustainable business growth.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of risk perception, overconfidence, and herding behavior on investment decision. The population of this research is all stock investors who are domiciled in Riau. The sample was selected using purposive sampling method which amounts to 152 respondents. This research method uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart PLS software version 3.2.9. The purpose of this research is that investors can consider their decisions well before making an investment decision and find out how their psychological factors can affect their investment decision. The result of this research is that there is a positive influence of risk perception, overconfidence, and herding behavior on investment decision.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of consumer ethnocentrism, perceived quality, and emotional value on the intention to buy streetwear products from Generation Z local brands in Jakarta. The sampling method used is non-probability sampling with convenience sampling technique. Data collection using a google form questionnaire distributed through social media with a number of respondents as many as 200 people but only 197 that can be analyzed further. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of SMARTPLS v3.2.9 statistical software. The sample in this study is Generation Z with an age range of 9-24 years who live in Jakarta who are familiar with local brand streetwear products. The results indicate that consumer ethnocentrism, perceived quality, and emotional value have a positive impact on the purchase intention of Generation Z to purchase local brand streetwear in Jakarta. For street wear fashion marketers, the results provide a better understanding of the increasingly dynamic consumer behavior of Generation Z.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explain the empirical influences of role of family, experiences exposure, and entrepreneurial judgment skills, eachly toward entrepreneurs’ productivity. This study applies descriptive research design, quanitatively obtained, and analyzed statistically. The data are collected from 40 individuals, entrepreneurs who establish or manage start-up in Indonesia, as sample. Technique used to select the sample is by non-probability sampling, where the instrument used to evaluate four variable is questionnaire through Google-form, to collect data. Respondent’s feedbacks are then assessed through SmartPLS 3.0 software. Three independent variables simultaneously able to influence dependent variable moderately. In hypotheses testing, role of family positively and insignificantly influences entrepreneurs’ productivity, while experiences exposure, entrepreneurial judgment skills positively and significantly influence entrepreneurs’ productivity.

Abstract

The fast growth of technology and the internet have ushered in a new era for humanity. One of the advantages of the internet is its entertainment value. Online games are a well-known form of online content. In typical PC or console games, only one or two people play the game on a personal computer. In online games, several players from all over the world to play on game servers over the internet. Playing online games gives gamers a sensation of enjoyment, flow, and satisfaction with the game. These variables will influence the purchase intention of players. This study aimed to explore the influence of flow experience, satisfaction, and enjoyment on purchase intention through the mediation of continuous usage intention. This study is quantitative in nature. The sample for this study consisted of 485 digital gaming participants. The purposive sampling was implemented by distributing online questionnaires that were subsequently analysed with Smart PLS. The findings of this study indicate that the sense of flow, satisfaction, and enjoyment can influence the continuous usage intention. Consequently, flow experience, continuous usage intention, and satisfaction can influence purchase intention. Additionally, enjoyment does not affect purchase intention. Then, flow experience can influence purchase intention directly or through continuous usage intention.

Abstract

Indonesia's fashion sector has recently seen remarkable growth. The rise of several local brands that drawing attention of the public, particularly the younger generation, is indicative of this. This study was conducted to determine how brand passion, mediated by brand attachment, is affected by brand image self-congruity and social media content marketing. Self-congruity variable was assessed by using the dimension of actual self- congruity, ideal self-congruity, and social self-congruity. At the same time, content marketing has been measured by user-generated content and firm-created content. This quantitative research used the data gathered from questionnaire distribution through Google Form. The number of samples is 290. Data manipulation and testing used the SmartPLS version 3. The results showed that self-congruity and content marketing positively affect brand passion through brand attachment. Moreover, the results of this study also prove that content marketing could directly affect brand passion.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the effect of profitability, asset structure, growth opportunities, and non-debt tax shields on the capital structure of the coal-mining firms indexed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2020. There are 12 company samples in this research, which was determined with the purposive sampling method. The series of tests that will be carried out in this study include descriptive statistical analysis, panel data regression model tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The data are processed using the EViews 12 software. The outcomes of this study show that profitability (ROA) and non-debt tax shields (NDTS) are affecting the capital structure (DER) negatively and significantly, growth opportunities (MTB) is affecting the capital structure (DER) positively and significantly, while asset structure (TANG) does not affect the capital structure significantly.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the role of Attitude toward Money, Locus of Control, Financial Self-Efficacy and Self-Control in explaining Financial Management Behavior among workers that use E-commerce and live in Jakarta. The samples used in this study are workers that use E-commerce and live in Jakarta. This study collected 208 samples who are workers that use E-commerce and live in Jakarta. The respondents selected by using convenience sampling method. This research used Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze data. The result of this study indicated that Attitude toward Money, Locus of Control, Financial Self-Efficacy and Self-Control has positive influence on explaining Financial Management Behavior.
