Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the impact of financial literacy, financial socialization agents, and parental norm on money management of Universitas Tarumanagara students. This study used 163 respondents from the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Tarumanagara. Data collected in this study using a questionnaire. The research design in this study used descriptive research with the sampling technique used non-probability sampling technique, namely convenience sampling. Analysis of the data used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using the Smart-PLS version 3.3.5 software as a data analysis tool. The results obtained in this study are financial literacy has a positive and significant impact on money management of Universitas Tarumanagara students, financial socialization agents have a positive and significant impact on money management of Universitas Tarumanagara students, and parental norm has a positive and significant impact on the money management of Universitas Tarumanagara students.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically test brand experience, perceived value, and social media marketing to predict brand loyalty in Jakarta. The online questionnaire was distributed using Google Forms with a 5-point Likert scale for each indicator. The number of samples is 185 respondents. All data were analyzed using Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study indicate that perceived value and social media marketing can positively predict brand loyalty in Jakarta, but the brand experience cannot positively predict brand loyalty in Jakarta. The results show that brand has not succeeded in carrying out an approach that can influence the moods and emotions of customers that can create a memorable experience for the brand, so loyalty has not yet been created.

Abstract

In society after COVID-19 Pandemic, awareness on financial well-being is on the rise and many attempts to achieve it through investment. But, to invest means to make decision among numerous alternatives and risks. This research aims to find out how investment actors’ demographic factors, financial literacy, and behavioral bias affect the investment decisions they make, where it highlights upon a point still rarely disclosed: whether financial literacy and behavioral bias are able to mediate the relationship between demographic factors and investment decision. The result for SEM-PLS analysis of 151 young investment actors below the age of 25 and adult investment actors of 25 years old and above shows that behavioral bias can act as a mediator while financial literacy cannot; demographic factors that is addition of family members, financial management behavior of financial literacy, and behavioral bias in the form of overconfidence all have a positive and significant effect as well. These findings give the implication that responsibilities towards one’s family, as well as financial behavior and self-confidence, play a noticeable role on investment decision.

Abstract

Along with the passage of time and the development of people's ability in entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial activities are increasingly in demand by the world community from various different backgrounds including Indonesia. Entrepreneurial activities are now seen as an activity that can provide opportunities to achieve success through the efforts they create. The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the influence of attitudes, sosial environment, and self-efficacy on the entrepreneurship intentions of S1 Management Students of West Jakarta. Sampling this study was done by non-probability sampling methods, namely voluntary sampling and data collection is done with questionnaires. This study sample was 100 respondents from 105 respondents who studied at universities in West Jakarta. This study used SmartPLS 3.3.3 in processing the collected data. The results of this study found that attitudes and self-efficacy have a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurship intentions in undergraduate management students in West Jakarta, while the social environment does not have a significant influence on the social entrepreneurship intentions of students.

Abstract

The development of increasingly advanced technology now has a big impact and greatly affects human activities that make human life easier, one of which is the online shopping application at Tokopedia. The focus on this study is to determine the effect of performance expectations, effort expectations, habit, and price value ​​on the behavioral intention of the Tokopedia application in Jakarta. This study used 200 samples with purposive sampling method, namely those using the Tokopedia application in Jakarta with ages above 20 years which was carried out in the form of google form. The results is all variables have a positive effect on the behavioral intention of Tokopedia users except for the performance expectation variable which not have a significant effect on the behavioral intention of Tokopedia users. In this study, it was found that the variable that had the most influence on behavioral intentions was habit.

Abstract

The growth of technology produces many innovative technologies that make people's lives easier. Competition between technology companies is getting fiercer, they are competing to be the number one in their industry. One of the innovative technologies is the e-wallet. The pandemic and social distancing, make contactless technology grow faster. One of the e-wallets is Sakuku by BCA. When the e-wallet industry is increasing, conversely, active Sakuku users are decreasing. This can occur due to several factors such as confirmation, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and satisfaction. This study examines the effect of confirmation, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and satisfaction on the continuance usage intention of Sakuku users in Jakarta. This study uses PLS-SEM as data analysis technique using data from 232 respondents who have filled out online questionnaires via google form. The results of data analysis show that perceived usefulness and satisfaction can directly affect continuance usage intention. Perceived ease of use cannot affect directly but must go through satisfaction. In addition, confirmation, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use can affect satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of work environment and compensation towards employees work satisfaction at Medical Appliance Company. This study was causal research using quantitative method. The sampling method used purposive sampling technique based on certain criteria. This study had a sample size of 57 respondents. The data analysis used outer and inner model test in SmartPLS software version 3.3. The findings of this study showed that the work environment and compensation had a positive and significant effect on employee work satisfaction at Medical Appliance Company. This study can be used as a reference for Human Resource Department to make policy and decision that have an impact on increasing employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of organizational justice on organizational commitment mediated job satisfaction. This research was conducted at XYZ Company by distributing questionnaires via google form with 60 respondents. This study uses the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) method with SmartPLS software to test the validity and reliability of the analysis The results show that organizational justice has no effect on job satisfaction, organizational justice has a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment, organizational commitment has a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, and organizational justice has a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment. In addition, the firm will get benefit by how organizational can improve as well as increase job satisfaction. In order to achieve organization goals, company can understand the employee’s job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of obtaining quantitative evidence of the component of intellectual capital, asset management, liquidity, firm size, and leverage on firm’s financial performance. The population used in this research are manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2017-2020, with a total of 197 companies. The sample in this research was selected using the purposive sampling method with a total sample used of 66 companies. The method of analysis in this research is using the multiple regression analysis which aims to determine the effect of each variable on the companies’ financial performance. The result of this research show that value added capital employed, value added human capital, and asset turnover ratio have a significant effect on financial performance. On the other hand, the structural capital value added, current ratio, size, and debt to asset ratio do not have a significant effect on financial performance.

Abstract

This study was carried on to determine the effect of technology development, investment knowledge, and self-efficacy on investment interest with age as a moderating variable in West of Jakarta society who is interested in doing investment, especially in the capital market. This study has 100 respondents as a subject who are domiciled or staying in the West of Jakarta and has an interest in investing in the capital market. The purposive sampling method is used in this study. This study is using Partial Least Square (PLS) approach by using the SmartPLS application version 3.0 to analyze the data. The discovery of this study shows that technology development and self-efficacy influence investment interest, while investment knowledge does not influence investment interest. Then, age does not moderate the development of technology, investment knowledge, and self-efficacy on investment interest.
