Conference on Management, Business, Innovation, Education and Social Sciences (CoMBInES) Conducting a research is one of the implementations of Three Pillars of Higher Education that has a crucial role for the development of science, technology, and arts as well as for the improvement of the welfare of society since the research results are directly implemented to the society/community. To spread more significant effect; not only for the society/community but also for more external parties; therefore, Universitas Internasional Batam hold a Conference on Management, Business, Innovation, Education and Social Sciences (CoMBInES) that is attended by lecturers and students from both domestic and overseas partners to disseminate their research works. Through this conference, the researchers are able to share their knowledge and motivation in the application of sustainable research activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse the effect of tax planning and other financial characteristics on firm value at non-financial sectors in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The object of this research are non-financial company in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2017-2019. The sample of this research are 122 non-financial companies with total 366 data were used in this research based on the criteria and took a sample by purposive sampling method. The result shows that return on asset and debt to asset has significant effect to Firm Value and other independen variable such as tax planning, current ratio, firm size, dividen payout ratio, audit quality and growth do not have effect on firm value

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui pengaruh manajemen laba, ukuran perusahaan, leverage, ROA dan PBV terhadap pengembalian saham. Dengan varibel independen yang digunakan yaitu manajemen laba, ukuran perusahaan, leverage, ROA dan PBV. Sedangkan variabel dependen yang digunakan adalah pengembalian saham. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan perusahaan-perusahaan non keuangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2015 – 2019, 1.510 data yang memenuhi kriteria selama 5 tahun. Menggunakan metode analisis regresi data panel. Dimana Random Effect Model menjadi model regresi terbaik dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manjemen laba, ukuran perusahaan, leverage dan PBV berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap pengembalian saham, ROA berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap pengembalian saham

Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic has brought an impact to all kind of activities, including religious worpship activities in Indonesia. Buddhism are the religion was found in india, in general Buddhism are devided to 3 main teachings which is Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha. Chanting using Parita are practice recommended by Buddha, but due Covid-19 Pandemic many buddhists cannot go to monastery and Paritta is book that provided by monastery. One of the main issues that occur among buddhists during the pandemic was do not have an access to Paritta and did not memorize the chanting script because the language used in Paritta are Pali. However, the solution of that problem is rather simple, one of which is digitalization. This Paritta can be turned into mobile application to help buddhists to access the Paritta. In this study, we have designed a mobile application for Paritta to become E-Paritta using Flutter framework and SDLC Method. Author want to produced a mobile application that have intuitive design, simple workflow and seamless user experience. By designing and developing this mobile application, author are attempt to help people had no access to Paritta

Abstract

Abstrak Studi ini meneliti tentang pengaruh tata kelola perusahaan yang baik terhadap struktur modal. Data sekunder yang digunakan berupa laporan tahunan perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dari tahun 2015 hingga 2019. Ukuran dewan direksi, komposisi dewan direksi, ukuran komite audit, kepemilikan manajerial, ukuran perusahaan dan profitabilitas digunakan sebagai variabel independen dan kontrol dalam menunjang penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran dewan direksi, ukuran komite audit, ukuran perusahaan dan profitabilitas berdampak secara signifikan negatif terhadap struktur modal, sedangkan komposisi dewan direksi dan kepemilkan manajerial tidak memberikan dampak yang signifikan.

Abstract

The popularity of video games among younger generation today is undeniable. Video games can be used in various purpose beyond mere entertainment value, one of which is delivering message in a more immersive manner than other linier media. Global warming is an issue that are currently becoming very complex and impactful to our daily lives. However, the solution of that problem is rather simple, one of which is forestation. This problem can be turned into video game mechanics to help player understand the urgency of the matter. in this study, we have designed a video game about global warming using the MDA framework method. We produced game design document which consists of mechanics, dynamics and aesthetics. This document then will be used as part of video game development. By designing this video game, we are attempting to spread the message of global warming to younger generation

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi memberikan dampak positif untuk berbagai usaha, tidak terkecuali supermarket. Bagi beberapa usaha supermarket, strategi pemasaran yang umum adalah strategi perubahan harga. Walaupun begitu, masih ada cara untuk bersaing, yaitu menerapkan customer relationship management. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghadirkan inovasi baru dalam sistem kasir di Supermarket BLESS, di mana sistem diintegrasikan dengan payment gateway. Sistem ini mengusung tema self service technology, di mana transaksi dilakukan secara mandiri oleh pembeli. Dalam pengembangan sistem, penulis menggunakan PHP dan metode SDLC. Keluaran yang dihasilkan adalah sistem kasir layanan mandiri berbasis website untuk memberikan pengalaman baru dan meningkatkan daya saing supermarket.

Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of history and heroic stories from Indonesian heroes who have fallen. However, as time goes by, not many people know the stories of their heroism, especially among young people such as children and teenagers. Games can be a medium of learning to recognize letters and numbers, shapes, colors and even to get to know history. An attractive game design can be an attraction for players to play it, especially among children to teenagers. This refers to the importance of digital art design as a support for game-based learning media. Pixel art for games can look beautiful even if it's simple. In addition, pixel art can also be a characteristic of games that are increasingly popular with the public, so that being created by game developers today in a pixel art style, it is an experience offered by modern game developers to gamers. By combining some of these concepts, finally emphasizing this application study by creating a game asset design with the genre of Indonesian heroes' history with the concept of 2d pixel art as a medium for learning history for young students in Indonesia. This research uses the PDDIE development method (Planning, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This design method is used as the output of this research in the form of designing the "asset" of the General Sudirman Guerrilla War game using the concept of 2D pixel art.

Abstract

Di Industri 4.0 IoT merupakan salah satu teknologi yang sangat dinantikan. Hal ini dikarenakan fitur yang dapat dilakukan serta dampak yang dapat diberikan. IoT dapat diterapkan di berbagai bidang salah satunya adalah menjadi smart office salah satu divisi dari smart building. Dalam studi ini kami akan merancang Smart office dengan penerapan teknologi IoT dengan menggunakan pendekatan eksplorasi dan tinjauan pustaka. Rancangan yang kami hasilkan berfokus pada peningkatan efisiensi energi dan pengurangan polusi dengan cara optimalisasi penggunaan energi, smart office juga dapat memberikan peningkatan kualitas kerja melalui peningkatan komunikasi antara para pekerja dan juga peningkatan ergonomis pada tempat kerja. Dengan kata lain meningkatkan kinerja, kenyamanan dan kesehatan para pekerja dalam kantor tersebut. Untuk penerapan IoT pada bidang lain masih diperlukan banyak studi selanjutnya.

The COVID-19 pandemic affected various aspects such as economy, health, environment, and others. The pandemic that occurred in Indonesia gave a huge responsibility to the government as stated in the fourth paragraph of the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a general corporate movement that is responsible to various stakeholders who benefit society. The purpose of this study is first to determine the relationship between company characteristics, namely company size, leverage, profitability, industry and company age with the disclosure of social responsibility of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX); second, to determine the relationship between the level of corporate social responsibility disclosure with several audit variables such as tenure of the audit firm and the size of the audit firm. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between company size, leverage, industry and audit firm size on CSR.
