Abstract

Testing is needed on the application to find out whether the application is a bug or needs to be improved to make it better. The black-box testing method has been widely used by researchers to test application suitability. The application being tested is a contribution system application consisting of menus that the administrator wants to enter. When the testing process produces bugs that were previously unknown, then the test is considered a good test. The purpose of application testing is to see if the program performs every function we expect without looking at the source code of the software's functions. The type of black-box testing procedure used in this study is equivalence partitioning. The equivalence division process is a test that starts with filling in each form on each input menu, the content to be tested starts with valid or invalid.

Abstract

New technologies allow data transmission to move in seconds without geographical restrictions. With the emergence of global digital companies such as Google and Facebook, startups were born in Indonesia. The goal is to develop an attendance system that will facilitate data processing easily and quickly and help track employee check-ins and check-outs. To design this application, the spiral model was used, which is a combination of the prototype model and the waterfall model with a strong emphasis on risk analysis at each stage. The risk spiral model consists of five stages, namely linking, planning, analysis, engineering, and evaluation. The results of this study indicate that employees can speed up their work.

Abstract

Point of sale (POS), or what is often called POS, is a system in the business world that uses hardware and software. This POS system has key features such as adding transactions, viewing sales transaction history and sales progress graphs, estimating revenue, and identifying sales which includes a list of best selling products and product combinations. Testing of this application was carried out using the white box method for two weeks after the program was finished. The result of implementing the POS application is a web application for sales orders that makes it easy to manage goods and recap monthly or annual transactions. In evaluating application compatibility and compatibility with the database, this application is implemented for one week to check whether there are still problems or not. As long as the program is approved, improvements and adjustments will be made according to the needs of stores that will use this POS application. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the Point of Sale (POS) information system created can be used by users.

Abstract

Nowadays, computers have an important role in human life. Because computers really help humansin carrying out tasks through the applications and features available according to human needs. Most of the people who have a business doing all their activities are more computerized on a regular basis for reasonsof time, less risk and faster decisions than without a computer. For this reason, the purpose of this study isresearch aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Selenium in functional testing of web-based point of sale (POS) application using the blackbox method. Selenium is an automated testing tool used to test web applications by recording and playing back user actions on the browser. The blackbox method is used to examine the application's functions from the user's point of view without checking the implementation details of the source code or the internal structure of the application. This research uses a web-based POS application as a case study and performs functional testing using the blackbox method with and without using Selenium. The test results show that using Selenium in functional testing of web-based POS application with blackbox method can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of testing, as well as ensure that the application functions properly and meets the user's needs. This research contributes to the development of web-based POS application testing methods using automated tools such as Selenium to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of testing.

Abstract

Mobile Learning was a learning approach that implicates the mobile devices like smartphone, PDA, tablet PC which the learner was able to access the material, instruction, and application that were relevant to the lesson without being constrained by space and time wherever or whenever they were. Mobile Learning was one of alternative for problem solving in education which comprises the problem of distribution access for education content, content quality, and others. Then, in order to strengthen the source of information for the user and minimized the cost toward the access of that education content. The new inovation for system of study that based on application in systematically and structured as the interactive media for student of learning process in. This application could be the appropriate solution for learning in the school and minimize the incorrectness. The design of this system was implementationed by using language of program PHP 7.3.0 with MYSQL of database. In order to design this system involved Used Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, Context Diagram, Flowmap, Normalization, and Entity Relationship Diagram. This system was involved at least 3 users that are Administrator, Teacher, and Student. The registered users have right to access for the system by login with using username and password. This application was designed by using mini server Raspberry Pi 3 model B+ on the web server which based on Moodle, and platform android as the application for client.

Abstract

This research focuses on the issues of data security and document management at SMK Teknologi Informatika YPML, an educational institution that manages a large number of educational documents. Currently, this institution does not use an encryption system application, which potentially leads to data leaks and other security issues. To address this problem, this research designed an encryption and decryption system application to protect documents and files from unauthorized access. This application is designed by implementing the AES (Rijndael) encryption algorithm capable of encrypting up to 256-bit, so only individuals who have the encryption key can open the document. This research hopes to improve data security and document management efficiency in educational institutions.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation and evaluation of the Black Box method in testing an accounting application in the banana chip production industry. The primary objective of this research is to assess the performance and accuracy of the application in recording financial and production transactions. The Black Box method, which solely inspects input and output without considering the internal processes of the application, is utilized in this context to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the application. The study involved collecting data from various financial and production transactions in the banana chip industry, which were then input into the application. Testing using the Black Box method was conducted by examining whether the output generated by the application met the expected outcomes based on the given inputs. The results of the research indicate that the application was successful in recording and processing data with a high level of accuracy, achieving good efficiency in company operations. However, several areas for improvement were identified, particularly related to the handling of complex transaction data. This study affirms that the Black Box method is effective in application testing and demonstrates its potential in enhancing the efficiency of financial recording applications. Recommendations for further research and implementation in other sectors are also presented.

Abstract

PT HANBRO TEKNO UTAMA is a startup company engaged in the field of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Consultants. However, the recording of sales data information at PT HANBRO TEKNO UTAMA only uses numeric data processing software that does not yet have a centralized database and the Sales Information System is not well structured. This hampers business development at PT HANBRO TEKNO UTAMA. With this Web-Based Information System, so that it can be a solution in business development. This Web-Based Information System was created with the PHP programming language, Javascript, MySql database, and CodeIgniter framework.

Abstract

Face Detection is an important part of digital image processing to determine the location, size and number of faces in an image. Face detection is the initial stage in a facial recognition system that is used for personal identification, human-computer interaction, monitoring systems, criminal law and so on. This study presents face detection with skin color segmentation & template matching methods. The first step is to make a skin color model by transforming into YCbCr and then find the average number of facial skin colors. Next build a Gaussian distribution for the chroma chart which shows the possible skin colors. Adaptive thresholding is used to emphasize skin and non-skin areas presented in binary images. Segmentation of skin areas is done by labeling. Face candidates are obtained from calculating the number of holes in the segmented skin area, calculating the face width-to-height ratio and matching with the face template (template matcing). The centroid of the detected face is calculated and a marker is placed at the centroid of the face in the image. Based on trials with the Matlab 2011 tool with datasets taken from FDDB (Face Detection Data Set and Benchmark), the detection accuracy obtained from trials on 76 images with varied backgrounds and lighting levels reached 81.58%.
