Abstract

This literature review examines how expert systems that may detect mental diseases employ the Certainty Factor technique. Treatment for mental disorders is important because they are serious health issues. The Certainty Factor method has become one of the approaches employed in this expert system, which has been widely used as a tool for diagnosing mental diseases. This literature study aims to investigate the effectiveness and application of the Certainty Factor method in expert systems for diagnosing mental disorders. This method allows the assessment of the level of confidence in the various rules or facts that are relevant in the diagnosis. A literature review is carried out by collecting and analyzing related articles that have been published within a certain period of time. The results of this literature study indicate that the use of the Certainty Factor method in an expert system to diagnose mental disorders has a number of advantages. This method allows the representation of the degree of uncertainty and subjective judgment in the diagnostic process. This enriches the expert system's ability to consider various factors that influence the diagnosis of mental disorders. However, there are also several challenges in applying the Certainty Factor method in expert systems to diagnose mental disorders. Accurate determination of certainty factors can be subjective and requires deep expert expertise. In addition, ignoring the relationships and interactions between rules can also affect the accuracy of the resulting diagnoses. In order to increase the success of the Certainty Factor method in diagnosing mental disorders, this literature study recommends the need to improve the quality of knowledge and data used in expert systems. Periodic evaluation and updating also needs to be done to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the expert system.

Abstract

Yumni Konveksi is one of the convection businesses that producing school uniforms and distributing them to schools in several regions in Indonesia. The effective and efficient management of production processes, especially proper distribution, will provide a dominant contribution to the development progress of the business. As of the distribution management must be proper to be efficient because it will affect on distribution costs. A method to optimize the distribution costs is by using the transportation method. In transportation problems, in general, problem solving can be done in two phases, include: phase I by applying the North West Corner (NWC) method. While, the second phase is the final completion using the Stepping Stone method. Hence, a web-based application program is developed to solve the problem of distributing goods costs by implementing the North West Corner (NWC) method as an initial solution and the Stepping Stone method as the optimal solution to optimize the operational costs of distributing goods, school uniforms at Yumni Konveksi. The system development method used is the waterfall method. The system modeling in programing applications employs the Unified Modeling Language (UML) design. This application is made using the PHP programming language and MySQL in data-based management (database).

Abstract

In order to select students to attend education according to their interests and talents, this research is a systematic literature review that aims to explore research related to the implementation of the forward chaining method in expert systems. The process of conducting a literature review involves conducting an extensive and focused search of pertinent scientific databases. We list and evaluate previous research in this area in this review. According to the conclusions of the review, the forward chaining technique has been widely used in the development of expert systems for various purposes, including educational selection. Using this technique, expert systems can quickly generate sensible educational recommendations based on students'interests and skills. The benefits and drawbacks of the forward chaining approach, as well as the methods and approaches used to create an expert system knowledge base, have also been emphasized in previous studies. To further improve the quality of educational recommendations, many studies have tried to combine the forward chaining method with additional technologies such as data mining and artificial intelligence. This literature review offers a thorough analysis of the use of the forward chaining method in educational selection expert systems and offers recommendations for future studies that will help create more sophisticated and useful expert systems in this field.

Abstract

The validation process carried out to determine the quality of the software is an understanding of software testing. Testing is intended to find out application output errors that result in the system not running properly. There are 4 types of Black Box testing including Pairwise Testing, Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning, and Error Guessing techniques. This technique has advantages and disadvantages according to the needs of the application being tested. The Equivalence Partitioning technique was chosen as a Black box test because it is in accordance with the needs of the web-based Cooperative Information System application, in this test is divided into 2 test ranges to be valid and invalid. Beginning with identifying, testing system functions, establishing research data and archives, designing experimental cases and testing, and documenting research results and research conclusions. The results of testing, that this software runs according to what has been tested. However, the test is only carried out with a number of sample forms, for the time being this device has no problems and runs well.

Abstract

The minimarket sales system has become an integral part of the modern retail industry. In an effort to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction, many mini-markets have turned to web-based solutions. This study aims to test the Sodaqo website-based minimarket sales system using the black box testing method with the equivalence partitioning technique. Black box testing is a software testing method in which testing is carried out without regard to the internal structure or implementation details of the system. Meanwhile, equivalence partitioning is a testing technique that divides input into equal or equivalent groups to reduce the number of test cases that must be tested. The test results show that the website-based Sodaqo minimarket sales system functions properly and meets the predefined functional requirements.

Abstract

KIP Lectures is an educational scholarship provided by the Government under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture. This scholarship is intended for graduates of high school (SMA) or equivalent who have good academic potential and wish to continue their higher education but have economic limitations. In this study a decision support system will be applied using the web-based Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method for receiving KIP scholarships for college. By using the SAW method, it is hoped that the results of this research will be obtained by prospective KIP scholarship recipients with accurate calculations because the SAW method will give a weight value to each criterion, besides that the simple calculation process can facilitate application in applications so that it will produce faster processing times.

Abstract

Web-based, desktop or mobile applications before being used to the general public or certain companies must pass testing on the software. There are two methods in testing that we usually know, namely Black Box Testing and White Box Testing. For this time the testing method we chose was Black Box Testing with the Equivalence Partitions Technique which aims to test whether there are errors in: system functions, interfaces, data structures or data access, performance, initialization. The object carried out in this test is the Website-Based FTTH Material Forecasting application. The methods and techniques chosen in this test are techniques that are easy to do for novice testers. There are 4 forms tested, namely user and admin login forms, product forms, category forms, project forms. Each form will be tested by entering input data that is commonly found in existing tests. The results showed that software testing using the Black Box Testing method with the Equivalence Partitions Technique in the application there are still forms whose results or outputs do not match what is expected in the design of the application because an error occurs. The results of the calculation of system validity obtained a value of 100%.

Abstract

The main aim of this paper was to review how artificial intelligence works in software test automation. When it comes to software engineering, artificial intelligence (AI) has had a significant influence, and software testing is no exception. With artificial intelligence (AI), the goal of software test automation may be closer than ever before. To some extent, the paradigm has changed during the previous two decades]. Everything about the testing process has been a positive experience, starting with manual testing and progressing to automated testing, where Selenium is acknowledged to be one of the best test automation tools. As a result, in today's high-speed IT landscape software testing must come up with fresh testing approaches that are based on solid research. The emergence of AI-based testing has been very beneficial for this aim. A computer's ability to learn without human involvement may be fully simulated by AI algorithms and machine learning (ML). While AI and ML entail the construction of distinct and unique algorithms to access data and learn from it by identifying patterns to make conclusions, these predictions are intended to be employed in software testing to their full potential.

Abstract

Rayyan Medical is a committed distributor in the field of medical devices together with many hospitals, health departments, health centers and other institutions related to medical devices. However, there are a number of things that need to be considered, especially in the warehouse department, because errors often occur between the data and the available stock. Manual execution produces inconsistent data. So it requires a system that makes it easy to run the process so it doesn't crash all the time. Warehouse requests and requests processing Warehouses still use mail, file storage, and data convenience is less reliable because data storage is unprofitable. From the results of research in , we designed a warehouse inventory system application using the Boundary Value technique. Boundary value testing is testing by dividing the input domains of a program into data groups and then testing only on the input domain boundaries. The aim is to concentrate testing efforts on error-prone areas in accurately setting conditional constraints (for example, the programmer can specify >, if the conditional state is > or =) . Boundary Value Analysis is a widely used Black Box Testing technique, which is also the basis for equivalence testing. This technique tests software with test cases with extreme values of the test data. Boundary Value Analysis is used to identify deficiencies or errors that arise due to limited data input. This technique determines whether a certain range of values is acceptable to the system or not. It is very useful in reducing the number of test cases and is best suited for systems where inputs fall within a certain range.

Abstract

Application testing is carried out to check whether the program is running properly or there are still errors that need to be corrected so that the program is made into a program that has good quality. In this test, the software that will be tested using a black box with the equivalence partitions technique is the Online Learning Application (E-learning), where this test will focus only on the login form, add admin and teacher forms, and add student forms. This online learning application will be tested to see whether the program is in accordance with the expected function or not without knowing the program code used.
