Abstract

Banyaknya ketidakkonsistenan dalam hasil penelitian mengenai pengaruh antara self-regulated learning terhadap prokrastinasi akademik, baik yang menunjukkan pengaruh positif maupun negatif, mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan riset lebih lanjut. Mengingat tingginya prevalensi prokrastinasi pada siswa, penelitian ini penting untuk mengidentifikasi strategi yang efektif dalam mengatasi masalah ini dan meningkatkan kinerja akademik mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh self-regulated learning terhadap prokrastinasi akademik siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Metode penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu simple random sampling sehingga didapatkan sampel sebanyak 87 siswa (36,8% laki-laki dan 63,2% Perempuan). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu skala self-regulated learning dan prokrastinasi akademik. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskripstif dan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara self-regulated learning terhadap pengurangan prokrastinasi akademik. Siswa yang terlalu yakin pada kemampuan mereka untuk belajar secara mandiri sering meremehkan jumlah waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan tugas. Keyakinan berlebihan ini sering menyebabkan penundaan hingga menit terakhir, yang pada gilirannya menyebabkan siswa menjadi lebih prokrastinasi di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, intervensi pendidikan harus tidak hanya fokus pada pengembangan keterampilan self-regulated learning, tetapi juga pada peningkatan kesadaran diri siswa mengenai manajemen waktu yang realistis dan penghindaran overconfidence.

Abstract

This research focuses on the issues of data security and document management at SMK Teknologi Informatika YPML, an educational institution that manages a large number of educational documents. Currently, this institution does not use an encryption system application, which potentially leads to data leaks and other security issues. To address this problem, this research designed an encryption and decryption system application to protect documents and files from unauthorized access. This application is designed by implementing the AES (Rijndael) encryption algorithm capable of encrypting up to 256-bit, so only individuals who have the encryption key can open the document. This research hopes to improve data security and document management efficiency in educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the communication strategy of the General Affairs (GA) Division of PT The UNV Serang in managing work relationships with outsourced workers from PT Tri Karya Cemerlang (TKC). Using a qualitative approach and in-depth interview methods, this study found that the GA Division implemented a structured and effective communication strategy, reflecting a deep understanding of Communication Strategy Theory, Organizational Communication, and Communication Management. The strategy involved thorough planning, flexible implementation, and continuous evaluation. The GA Division used various communication channels such as WhatsApp groups, weekly face-to-face meetings, and the use of visual media (photos/videos) to ensure clear and directed communication. This multi-channel approach facilitated timely and accurate information flow between departments and outsourced workers. Additionally, the GA Division positioned itself as a "communication bridge," centralizing coordination for all departments and ensuring smooth operational processes. The communication pattern employed was an effective combination of formal, hierarchical communication and informal, personal communication. This combination served to strengthen relationships, foster mutual understanding, and promote a collaborative work environment. The study highlights the importance of a strategic and adaptable communication framework that ensures seamless coordination, promotes positive work relationships, and contributes to organizational success. This research can serve as a reference for improving communication strategies in similar organizational settings.
