Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Pentahelix model strategy on increasing the potential of creative industries in Paloh Naga Agrotourism. The Pentahelix model involves five main elements which work together to develop the community-based tourism destinations. This research uses a descriptive approach to describe tourism development through the Pentahelix model systematically and accurately. This research results show there is a challenge in the form of a decrease in the number of visitors after harvest which has an impact on local community income, because tourism activities are very dependent on the beauty of newly planted rice fields. But, during the pre-harvest period, tourist attraction and community income are higher. Based on these findings, the results of interviews using the Pentahelix strategy produced several strategies to overcome these challenges, including digital promotional assistance through the use of social and electronic media, providing breakfast and lunch culinary that combine traditional food and contemporary food, traditional arts performances, increasing the completeness of facilities and infrastructure, intensive promotions involving influencers. Implementation of this strategy can increase the number of tourist visits in the post-harvest period and have a positive impact on increasing people's income, even though Paloh Naga Agrotourism is in the post-harvest period

Abstract

Riset ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis dampak pengalaman magang dan soft skills terhadap kesiapan kerja pelajar SMK Swasta Budi Setia, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Tujuan utama dari riset ini yakni secara kuantitatif menganalisis kontribusi masing-masing variabel independen terhadap kesiapan kerja pelajar SMK Swasta Budi Setia. Riset dilakukan dengan metode campuran melalui pendekatan kuantitatif yang dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Data dikumpulkan dari populasi 149 pelajar dari 4 program studi pada tahun akademik 2024 dengan jumlah sampel 60 pelajar yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 26 dan EViews 10. Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa variabel soft skills memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja pelajar. Pada saat yang sama, pengalaman magang tidak memiliki dampak yang signifikan. Secara bersamaan, variabel independen berpengaruh sebesar 67,9% dari kesiapan kerja pelajar. Kesimpulan dari riset ini menekankan pentingnya mengembangkan soft skills untuk mempersiapkan pelajar memasuki dunia kerja. Namun, durasi magang yang terbatas ditemukan menjadi kendala dalam memberikan pengalaman kerja yang mendalam.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of work motivation as a link between organizational culture and job satisfaction levels, and how it affects employee performance at PT. Cerestar Flour Mills. The method used in this study is quantitative with the application of Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis. A total of 76 respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results show that organizational culture has a significant role and has a positive influence on work morale (p = 0.000). Conversely, job satisfaction does not show a direct influence on employee performance (p = 0.886). Organizational culture also has a positive contribution to employee performance through an indirect increase in work motivation (p = 0.051)

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the impact of financial literacy and lifestyle on the capacity to repay online loan among Generation Z residing in Medan. The research method used was an associative quantitative survey approach, involving 100 participants selected using a purposive sampling technique. This research population consisted of all Gen Z residents in Medan according to data published by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).  The research findings indicate that financial literacy has a significant positive impact on respondents' capacity to repay online loan obligations. Furthermore, lifestyle also makes a significant positive contribution to repayment capacity. Multiple linear regression techniques were applied to assess the significance level of the influence of independent variables on changes in the dependent variable These two variables, both individually and collectively, have been shown to significantly contribute to explaining variations in Generation Z's ability to repay online loan re payment These findings emphasize the importance of  improving financial literacy and adopting a wiser lifestyle so that the younger generation can better manage their finances in the face of the development of online loan repayment.

Abstract

Kepercayaan pelanggan menjadi faktor utama dalam industri asuransi, khususnya dalam menjaga loyalitas pelanggan dan meningkatkan pertumbuhan bisnis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari pengaruh kinerja agen dan komunikasi pada PT Asuransi Allianz Life Syariah Indonesia Kantor Cabang Medan terhadap tingkat kepercayaan nasabah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui penggunaan metode persamaan struktural (PLS-SEM). Data dikumpulkan dari 89 pelanggan yang saat ini aktif di perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja agen tidak berpengaruh signifikan, namun kemampuan agen dan komunikasi memberikan pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepercayaan pelanggan. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi dapat memperkuat kepercayaan konsumen dan komunikasi agen, sedangkan peningkatan kinerja agen tidak secara langsung meningkatkan kepercayaan pelanggan. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel bebas memberikan kontribusi sebesar 45,5% terhadap peningkatan kepercayaan nasabah. Sisanya sebesar 54,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain di luar model penelitian ini. Dengan demikian, perusahaan perlu menekankan pelatihan kompetensi agen dan memperkuat komunikasi efektif dengan pelanggan guna meningkatkan hubungan jangka panjang.
