Abstract

This research investigates the use of drones and boats in monitoring the security of the water aerodrome area in Pang-Pang Bay. The aim is to measure the efficiency of using these two tools, compare their performance results, and evaluate the implications of the research results for security and operational development in the region. This research integrates qualitative and quantitative approaches to understand the role and challenges of each tool. The research results show that the use of drones provides significant efficiency in quickly reaching the incident point, covering a wide area, and aerial views that are useful in routine monitoring. On the other hand, boats have the advantage of quick response in emergency situations, stability in bad weather, and the ability to provide immediate assistance to individuals on the water. The results of the comparative analysis between the use of drones and boats reflect the special advantages of each tool in various aspects. The implication of this research is that the development of a security surveillance strategy in Pang-Pang Bay must consider the wise use of both tools, depending on operational needs and weather conditions. In an ideal situation, the combined use of drones and boats can provide a comprehensive solution to maintaining water safety. This research also makes an important contribution to the technology's development and application in the context of security surveillance. In conclusion, this research provides an in-depth understanding of the use of drones and boats in monitoring the Pang-Pang Bay water aerodrome area and provides a strong foundation for the development of better and more effective surveillance strategies in the area.

Abstract

The inventory control system comprises a set of control policies to determine the level of inventory to be maintained, when orders to replenish inventory should be placed, and how large orders should be. This system determines and ensures the availability of inventory in the right quantity and at the right time. The aim of inventory is in the right quantity and at the right time. Inventory management aims to provide the necessary raw materials for the production process to run smoothly without shortages or excess inventory, thus minimizing inventory control of raw materials, specifically Titanium Dioxide and Calcium Carbonate. The company often faces shortages and excess inventory of these raw materials. The company must estimate the future demand for Titanium Dioxide and Calcium Carbonate raw materials. This prompts the research question of how to analyze the implementation of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method for inventory control of these specific raw materials at PT. ICI Paints Indonesia. This research employs qualitative techniques and analyzes data using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, Lead Time, Re-Order Point, and Total Inventory Cost Order. The results of this study indicate that inventory control of raw materials using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is more efficient for managing Titanium Dioxide and Calcium Carbonate raw materials at PT. ICI Paints Indonesia. The company can optimize the inventory of Titanium Dioxide and Calcium Carbonate raw materials and reduce purchasing costs. By establishing a reorder point, the company can anticipate excess or shortage of Titanium Dioxide and Calcium Carbonate raw materials, thus minimizing inventory-purchasing costs.

Abstract

This review explores how digital technologies—namely the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and blockchain—are transforming supply chain management (SCM). Based on a structured review of recent peer-reviewed studies from databases like Scopus and Google Scholar, the findings show that these technologies enhance efficiency, visibility, and responsiveness. IoT enables real-time tracking and inventory accuracy, AI supports demand forecasting through predictive analytics, and blockchain ensures secure, transparent transactions. However, adoption is influenced by organizational culture, leadership, infrastructure, and regulations. Government policies play a key role in supporting digital transformation through incentives and standardization. The study highlights the need for multi-stakeholder collaboration and policy support to address challenges such as resistance to change, skill gaps, and infrastructure limitations. Future research should focus on longitudinal studies and the context of SMEs and developing regions. Modular integration, collaborative ecosystems, and sustainability-driven innovation are essential for building resilient, adaptive supply chains in the digital era.

Abstract

Big Data Analytics (BDA) has emerged as a transformative tool in optimizing supply chain management by enabling real-time insights, predictive forecasting, and operational efficiency. This study presents a comprehensive narrative review to evaluate the strategic application of BDA across key supply chain domains. Literature was collected from Scopus, Google Scholar, and related databases using Boolean search strings to identify relevant peer-reviewed studies published between 2018 and 2024. The review synthesized findings across four thematic areas: demand forecasting, inventory and logistics management, supply chain resilience, and technology integration. Results indicate that BDA significantly improves forecasting accuracy, enhances inventory efficiency, supports risk mitigation, and enables agile responses to market changes. BDA-integrated systems such as ERP and IoT provide strategic visibility and faster decision-making. Case studies from various sectors, including retail, healthcare, and agribusiness, demonstrate measurable cost reductions and increased responsiveness. However, challenges such as legacy IT systems, data security concerns, and workforce capability gaps limit implementation. This study discusses the systemic implications of BDA, proposing policies and managerial strategies to overcome integration barriers. It also outlines future research directions in adaptive analytics, sustainable operations, and digital infrastructure. Ultimately, this review underscores BDA's potential to enable dynamic and resilient supply chains, aligning operational goals with long-term sustainability.

Abstract

This narrative review explores the regulation of international trade, focusing on transport corridor development and its impact on sustainable global commerce. It synthesizes literature from Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, using keywords like "international trade," "transport corridors," "sustainability," and "policy regulation." Studies were selected for thematic relevance, methodological quality, and regional diversity, including cases from China, Kenya, Russia, and the EU. The review finds that while liberalized trade and infrastructure investment bring economic benefits, they also present environmental and social challenges. It highlights disparities in regulatory standards, the role of institutions in policy-making, and the need for civil society involvement. Developed countries lead in environmental governance, while developing nations face implementation obstacles. The findings are linked to theories of trade liberalization, dependency, global governance, and social capital. The study recommends data-driven policies, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and integrating sustainability into trade regulation to promote inclusive and environmentally responsible global trade.
