Abstract

The development of technology is currently used in various fields of science to make work easier. Because of the many features available, it is hoped that this application can be used to display machine maintenance schedules up to complexcity value of 30. By using this application, you can computerize the entire planning calculation process and avoid mistakes in making maintenance plans and damage due to forgetting to do routine maintenance. The application you are building uses the PHP programming language to help developers develop additional applications. It also uses the Codeigniter framework to make the programming process easier for developers. Supported by the waterfall method. This application can also monitor machine maintenance in the basic machinery laboratory of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic mechanic workshop

Abstract

Resam (Dicranopteris linearis syn. Gleichenia linearis) can be used as an alternative raw material. This material is easy to obtain because it can be used in almost all corners of Indonesia, especially the Bangka Belitung area, is easy to process, and has a size of stem content and stem size. Has good mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, easy to obtain from nature and environmentally friendly raw materials. So it can be developed as a composite material. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in layers (1-3) of woven fibers on the tensile strength and impact of resin-reinforced composites. In this study, using variations in the number of different layers, namely 1 layer, 2 layer, and 3 layer. The material used is resam woven fiber resin. Tensile test specimens were made with reference to the ASTM D-638 standard and impact testing according to ISO-179. The research results show,. The highest tensile strength value is found in the 1-layer layer, which is 26.4 MPa and the highest impact strength is owned by the 3-layer composite, which is 0.09014 J/mm2. Based on the results of the comparison test, the number of fiber layers greatly affects the tensile and impact strength.

Abstract

Along with the development of increasingly capable technology, people's daily lives can be helped by the presence of smart devices. The most widely used smart devices are smartphones. In this study, a smartphone is used as a device to control artificial lighting in the form of lamps. If lamps generally use an electric switch to turn on and off, this control system allows smartphones to be used as real-time light on-off control remotely using the Internet of Things (IoT). The control system is programmed using Arduino IDE and using NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller. This system can be run using a smart home application that connects users with smart lamps. The application is created using Mit App Inventor and the data is stored in a database that is Firebase. In addition, there is a monitoring system to monitor the use of power, energy, voltage, electric current, and conversion of electricity usage costs in lamps through applications found on smartphones and also Firebase.

Abstract

The laboratory scheduling system in an educational institution is a very crucial thing to pay attention to. The practicum scheduling process at the Software Engineering Technology Laboratory (TRPL) of the Bangka Belitung State Manufacturing Polytechnic is carried out every semester and is a complicated thing to do manually. This study discusses the design of a laboratory scheduling information system application which is a solution to this problem. In designing this application using the waterfall method (waterfall) development model that emphasizes sequential and systematic phases. In addition, this system also applies the concept of genetic algorithms to assist in scheduling problems that are not yet computerized and the best solution can be found using genetic operators (selection, crossover, and mutation).

Abstract

Technological advances in the hydroponic agricultural sector have the potential to be developed. One of them is an electrical energy efficiency system. For this reason, it is necessary to test an appropriate energy source. In this study, the test aims to determine the characteristics of the DC generator, the output of the DC generator will function as a battery charging source which is then used for energy efficiency systems in hydroponics. The test is carried out by comparing the pump height to the DC generator, the incoming water discharge and the DC generator rotation. With a pump height of a DC generator as far as 120 cm and a resistance load of 100 , the flowrate is 1L/minute, the DC generator rotation is 162 rpm and the lowest output power is 0.224 milliWatt. With the pump height to the DC generator as far as 30 cm, the flow rate is 25L/minute, the DC generator rotation is 956 rpm and the highest output power is 0.1 Watt. In other words, the greater the flow/discharge of water that enters the generator, the greater the output produced by the DC micro hydro generator.

Abstract

Autonomous mobile robot is a robot that can move independently from point to point. Which is important for working in dangerous area. To move independently, the robot must be able to identify its environment and know its position in the form of two-dimensional map. This research used Simultaneous Localization And Mapping (SLAM) method combined with of RPLidar A1M8 sensor and Robot Operating System(ROS) for identification the evironment. As a results, Autonomous robot is capable of mapping and delivering information of the robot can map and localize its position in an environment with mapping error 0,21% and 1,14% localization. Distance measurement in various angle tendts to stable with mean error 0,98%. Overall, the robot can be used in an empty area or an area with simple obstacle.

Abstract

Pineapple leaf fiber is one of the plantation wastes that is rarely processed and has a low selling value, Therefore, pineapple leaf fiber is used as a reinforcement for composite materials with an epoxy as a matrix and 16% filler material in the form of Hollow Glass Microsphere which is expected to produce renewable materials that can increase the selling value of the waste.. This study aims to determine how the effect of composite composition on tensile strength and impact of several parameters used. The testing process carried out is tensile test and charpy impact test with matrix and fiber volume fractions, namely, 74%:10%, 12.5%:71.5%  and 15%:69%  with horizontal and vertical fiber directions. Based on this study, specimens with a fiber fraction thickness of 15% with a vertical direction resulted in an average tensile strength of 84.83 MPa and the highest average impact strength was obtained in specimens with the same parameters is 0.1367 J/mm².

Abstract

3D printing technology is an additive manufacturing technology (layer by layer) to create 3D objects with melted filament material. With this 3D printer, users can create a ready-to-use product. This research uses ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) filament because mechanically this filament is very strong and has resistance to high temperatures. This study aims to find the highest tensile test value from 3D printer printing results with ABS filament specimens, for the factors used are infill layer thickness, wall printing speed, nozzle temperature, bed temperature, print speed, fan speed, infill density, wall thickness, top layers, bottom layers, infill overlap, retraction distance, and retraction speed. Printing is done with the Anycubic 4Max 3D printing machine, while the specimen size is 115 mm x 19 mm x 4 mm. This study uses the Taguchi L16 method with 13 factors and 2 levels printed as many as 48 specimens. So that the tensile test results were obtained with the highest value of 30.46 MPa in the second experiment the lowest with a value of 25.31 MPa in the third experiment. For the calculation of the S/N ratio, the most influential factor is the fan speed.

Abstract

Robot is a set of mechanical devices that are programmed in advance to perform a task either with human supervision or control. Robot development continues to be carried out, one of which is swarm robots. Swarm robots are robots that work together like a collection of insects to do a job. The swarm robot consists of a leader robot and a follower robot that must communicate with each other for positioning. The communication system uses two xbee modules to get the Receive Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) value in determining the distance between robots so that the follower robot can follow the movement of the leader robot. The method used is to test the communication between xbees and the comparison of the RSSI value to distance. Based on the results of the tests carried out, the results showed that the two xbees communicated well with each other and the RSSI values ​​obtained on the X-axis and Y-axis with the same distance did not change significantly.

Abstract

Omega is a specialty food distributor shop, namely Getas which is located in Belitung. Manual buying and selling activities and marketing and promotions are still limited for that we need an information system that can expand marketing and facilitate transactions, making it more efficient, fast and easy without being hindered by distance and time. There really needs to be convenience in service to make it easier for customers who are far from reach. The purpose of this research is to build a web-based omega store sales information and management system. For this reason, a web-based omge sales system was created, known as E-commerce (Electronic Commer). This application makes it easier for customers to buy products in the Omega store online anytime and anywhere without taking time and customers can also find out what products are available at the Omega store. The use of the website is expected to expand the reach of product marketing without being limited by time so that it can increase sales
