Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries in the world that is crossed by the equator that cause Indonesia has a duration of 12 hours (or all day). Hence, the sun can be alternative energy. For instance, it can be used for heating water. Water heaters circulating in the market are still priced in quite an expensive range, so innovation is needed. In this research, a tool is made namely a Solar Water Heater which can track the direction of the sun's rays with the addition of a reflector to reflect sunlight to get optimum heat. This study aims to see the difference between a continuous water cycle where the pump will continue to pump water into the tank through a hot cross-section with a delayed water cycle where the pump will stop for 10 seconds so that the water sits on the copper pipe first. Based on the test results, it was found that the Solar Water Heater can heat water in the tank up to 47.35 degrees Celsius in unstable weather and the optimum method for heating the water is the continuous method which has a difference of 6,47 degrees Celsius with the delay method.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, technological developments have increased rapidly, this has a positive impact in various fields, especially education. The utilization of technology, information, and communication is used to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the teaching and learning process. Less varied mathematics learning will complicate the development of students' skill of thingking. In the learning process, interactive learning media are needed for students which can easily get bored while receiving learning material from teacher. Applications are made using the Research and Development (R&D) method, namely research conducted to test the effectiveness and efficiency of certain products (Sugiyono 2010). As for the development model, implementing the ADDIE development model is a development model consisting of 5 phase, which containing by Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluating of application. The outcome of the research will be implemented into an Android-Based Educational Game Application and Mathematics Teaching Materials for Junior Middle School. The material presented in the application is validated first by material experts and media experts. The application that is run is by the current curriculum and the application can run according to the prototype design.

Abstract

DC motors are the most commonly used actuators in both small and large scale industries. Dc motor speed often decreases due to several factors so that the speed becomes unstable, one of the factors of the speed of the DC motor is unstable is the presence of load. In this study, a PID control system was created to regulate the speed of the DC motor. The output of the PID control is PWM which later the PWM value will go to the motor driver. The process will continue to repeat until the output value is close to or equal to the setpoint value that has been determined. Determination of variable values Kp, Ki and Kd using the method of trial and error. These values that later affect the PID control process. Using PID controls, the dc motor can rotate more stablely. If the dc motor's speed is stable, it can reduce vibrations in the food delivery robot and reduce the impact at the start of the DC motor at the beginning. The result and conclusion of this study is that each RPM value we want has a different Value kp, Ki and Kd, for example for the value of RPM 200 then the value of Kp = 0.5 Ki = 0.75 and Kd = 0.03, while for the value of RPM 400 then the value of Kp = 0.3 Ki = 0.88 and Kd 0.002.

Abstract

Toko Perikanan IMA is a shop that is engaged in the sale of fishing equipment in Sungailiat city. To manage store data such as sales data and product stock, Toko Perikanan IMA still uses a manual check by making written in the administration book which makes the owner get difficult. In fact, by managing store data, the owner can choose and make the right decisions. Besides that, marketing and promotion in Toko Perikanan IMA are very restricted and doesn't optimal. Therefore, a management information system is needed to solve the problem of the owner shop. Honestly, with a management information system, can more expect to make it easier for owner shop to manage a store data, both sales data, product data, product stock data, etc. Besides that, is be able to present information about fisheries that is more up to date and can promote the store widely without space and time-limited. The method used in building this system is the waterfall method. This method is used so that the system can be structured and neatly organized. To make a system design the owner uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) and the programming languages used are PHP and MySQL.

Abstract

PDAM Belinyu currently has water quality that has not yet reached the standard. Therefore, a measuring instrument is needed to monitor the pH value, temperature, and water turbidity. This study aims to make it easier for PDAM employees to check the IoT-based pH, temperature, and turbidity values of water. The method used in this research is data collection, block diagram design, testing, and data analysis. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the percentage error on the pH sensor sample 1 is 0.000457671% and sample 2 is 0.068227799%, the percentage error on the temperature sensor is 0.7699637% and the average data on the clean water turbidity sensor is 0, 6 NTU and cloudy water of 25.8 NTU.

Abstract

The presence and lending system of books is an important support of information management in the library. The system of presnance, lending, and return of books in polmanbabel library still uses a manual system. This research aims to be able to update the existing manual system in the Polmanbabel Library. RFID is a rapidly evolving technology, RFID technology has been widely used in data information management, one of which is in library information management. The appearance of the system of presence, lending, and return of books is designed using Visual Basic.Net.Visual software Basic.Net is an object-oriented computer programming language. Data collection is done by providing questionnaires to visitors who conduct sample trials from the system created. Based on the results of the test graph proves that the system designed to facilitate the process of Presence, Lending, and Return of books and able to improve service in the Library of Indonesia.

Abstract

The industrial world really expects an increase in performance by utilizing and creating the latest technology. Robot arm is one type of robot that is often used to perform various tasks to replace humans in the industrial world. By collaborating the function of the arm and wheel, it will produce the ability to move goods more effectively and efficiently. With a line tracing system or line detection, the mobile manipulator robot will move along the existing line to get to the place where the object is picked up, then the robot arm will function to pick up and put the object back to its destination. The output of this research is a mobile manipulator robot which has a maximum range of 237mm on the X-axis, 237mm on the Y-axis, and 224mm on the Z-axis and success in getting to the workpiece location using a line follower system while the manipulator with 3 DOF can reach the servo angle. a maximum of 120 degrees on the waist, 180 degrees on the upper and lower arms, and can clamp the workpiece with a rotating angle of up to 360 degrees.

Abstract

In Bangka Belitung, there’s many UMKM produce souvenirs typical of Bangka Belitung such as kemplang, kretek, crackers, etc. However,the frying technique used by UMKM from the results of visits mostly still uses the manual method, such as UMKM cannot monitor frying temperatures during production and also cannot control them. UMKM in controlling the temperature still use the manual method,namely if the temperature of the oil has started to heat up and the product started to brown,the stove knob is reduced and otherwise if the temperature isn’t hot enough,the stove knob will be raised.However,UMKM can’t detect the temperature used at that time,causing many production defects.From the results that has been carried out in UMKM, technology is needed to stabilize the temperature of the frying pan so that the production results produce the appropriate product. For the implementation of this frying stabilization process using microkontroller technology,where the actuator use servo motor that’s controlled to the stove.While the control process uses fuzzy logic,where the input and output will be set according to the rule base(rules defined according to the frying conditions in UMKM).The average percentage error from the test results of the frying temperature sensor with low input is 6.50%,medium input is 0.74%,and high input is 1.70%.

Abstract

This study aims to create a solar panel-based battery charging system with a buck boost converter as a control component. The method used is a quantitative method, namely by means of experiments and data collection on each component. The solar panel component used is 100 Wp and can produce a maximum voltage of 12,6 volts. The voltage from solar panels is used as a source of battery charging. The battery used is a 12V 7Ah. In the battery charging process, a buck boobt converter is used as a voltage controller that can increase or decrease the voltage from an unstable solar panel. The voltage used in the battery charging process, the faster the battery will charge. The time required to charge the battery from a voltage of 11,49 volts to 12,48 volts is 80 minutes.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the industrial world applies the concepts of automation carried out by machines without using human power in the application of a system. There are many systems used to simplify human work, such as item code identifiers in the barcode process. In this journal the TCS3200 color sensor application is used as a medium to read the values ​​of four types of colors, including: red, blue, yellow and green. After the TCS3200 color sensor detects the color, the NodeMcu will process the data which will be grouped into 5 types using four servo motors as arms that function to enter items that have been identified by the TCS3200 color sensor according to their respective color containers. The TCS3200 color sensor is also used as a medium to calculate how many items of each color are detected and will be displayed on the IoT-based blynk application. This application can monitor how much of each color is in the container and can also control to start and stop the system. This test was carried out 9 times and there were no errors in the test and the number that was read on the blynk application and the manual system was the same.
