Abstract

Stunting is caused by multidimensional factors so that the handling needs to be done by multisectoral or interprofessional collaborations. Central Sulawesi is an area that still has many health problems regarding nutrition, in preventing various problems related to stunting, the role of the family and community plays a very important role in the recovery phase. The roles and functions of families and communities greatly affect the health conditions of individuals, families, groups, and communities. The results of the mentoring and assessment that became a problem were the provision of complementary feeding. The provision of appropriate complementary feeding according to recommendations and utilizing local wisdom can help prevent stunting, and can introduce healthy eating habits for mothers and children under two by utilizing nutritious food found in their environment. In addition, as an effort to make significant progress in improving the health and quality of children, especially in Indonesia. Conclusions in the handling of stunting, each team shall have the duty and authority so that there is no overlap. Teams of health workers who work for the handling of stunting are nutritionists, midwives, nurses and Promkes, village head. Each has their own duties and powers. The achievement targets for this community service are Modules and Intellectual Property Rights.

Abstract

Indonesia as a developing country is one of the contributors to the increasing incidence of Overweight adolescents. The form of activities such as providing counseling and training on early detection of overweight and providing short workshops on making healthy snacks to prevent obesity (Banana Bud) is one of the efforts to prevent obesity in adolescents. The purpose of this community service is to increase adolescent knowledge about overweight prevention, improve adolescent skills in early detection of overweight and in selecting and making snacks to prevent overweight. This type of community service is providing counseling and training on early detection of overweight as well as providing a short workshop on making healthy snacks to prevent overweight (Banana bud) at Karuna Dipa junior high school in Palu City. Knowledge assessment results show that an increase in the average knowledge score was 2.9 points (14.5%). For the skill of determining BMI, students achieved the ability of 72% which was assessed from their ability to calculate BMI using discs or using a calculator, while for the determination of overweight, students' abilities reached 83% which was assessed from their ability to use discs to detect overweight. The conclusion of community service is that there is an increase in knowledge, skills for determining BMI using discs and calculators, and knowledge of making healthy snacks to prevent overweight

Abstract

Growth monitoring is part of the health service activities carried out for infants and toddlers. It aims to improve the quality of early childhood growth and development and the readiness of children to enter formal education which is directed at improving the nutritional, cognitive, mental and psychological health status of children. The population and sample in this study were 13 Posyandu located in the working area of the Kayuwou Public Health Center, Sindue Tobata District, Donggala Regency. The results show that the correct Posyandu in measuring body weight is only 15.3%, incorrect as much as 84.7%, the measurement of body length and height is only FOUR Posyandu that take measurements of body length and height and in their use fall into the category not exactly. For the correct Posyandu in filling out the KMS and Determining Growth Status, there is only ONE Posyandu (7.7%). The conclusion of this community service shows an increase in cadres in anthropometric measurements, filling KMS and determining growth status. This community service is important to provide knowledge and improve the skills needed by cadres to be able to determine the nutritional status of toddlers properly and correctly

Abstract

Food diversification connotes the selection of alternative food ingredients to reduce dependence on one dominant type of food. So far, the dominant type of food in Indonesia is rice. Therefore, food diversification is one of the strategies to achieve food security. Floss is a food that is generally made from beef. beef floss is often found, but combining products from one food ingredient with other foodstuffs is still rarely found. Combining several food ingredients will increase the nutritional value of a food product. Organoleptic test design for storability and acceptability of Shredded-Based Local Food with a panel of 25 students. The data is presented in tabular form accompanied by an explanation of the table in the form of narration. Abon made from local food is acceptable in terms of taste, color, texture and aroma.

Abstract

This community service aims to improve the knowledge and skills of cadres in filling growth chart in Pilimakujawa, Moa and Lempelero villages in the Gimpu Health Center Work Area, Sigi Regency. The knowledge and skills of cadres in filling out the growth chart are very important and can be assessed based on the accuracy of filling out the growth chart. From the preliminary study obtained information that many cadres who do not know very well how to fill growth chart, especially in remote areas inaccessible region Gimpu Sigi Health Center. The method is carried out using lecture and demonstration methods accompanied by training materials related to filling out the growth chart. This activity is useful because there is an increase in the knowledge and skills of posyandu cadres in filling out growth charts.

Abstract

Health promotion in adolescents is one of the alternative solutions to improve the health status of the community. Efforts that can be made in Islamic boarding schools are through the revitalization of Poskestren and adolescent health cadres . This activity aims to initiate and train youth health cadres in Islamic boarding schools. The activity was carried out in September 2021 at the Hidayatullah Tondo Islamic Boarding School and the Liwa'ul Haq Islamic Boarding School in Palu City. The method of activity is through surveys, brain storming and discussion, simulations and demonstrations. The results show that pesantren health posts (Poskestren) have been successfully established in 2 activity locations. There is an increase in the knowledge of Poskestren cadres from before being given training compared to after being given training. It is recommended that this activity can be continued and the need for further training activities with other contents such as basic health, environmental health, reproductive health and others.
