Abstract

The level of knowledge of Posyandu cadres in assessing stunting includes anthropometric measurements kit such as height (TB) and weight (BB). The anthropometric kit is one of the key components in assessing nutritional status in children and adults. Assessing the nutritional status of infants to predict long-term health complications requires anthropometric kit examinations nutritional status. This study aims to determine the level of most of them are skilled and knowledge is mostly inadequate of Posyandu cadres in anthropometric kit measurements to prevent stunting in the working area of Wonokromo Community Health Center, Surabaya. The method used is descriptive survey, with a sample of 30 Posyandu cadres involved in anthropometric kit measurements. The results of the study show that before training, most Posyandu cadres were not skilled, but after training, most became skilled. The majority of cadres showed inadequate knowledge prior to training before training but improved significantly afterward. It is recommended for health centers to provide repeated training and evaluate Posyandu cadres by imparting knowledge and skills on proper measurement techniques, especially for stunted children, and accompany them during anthropometric kit measurements to ensure better understanding.

Abstract

Yoga also affects the hypothalamus to suppress the secretion of CRH which will affect the anterior lobe pituitary gland to suppress the release of the hormone ACTH so that the production of adrenal hormones and cortisol decreases and orders the anterior lobe pituitary gland to release the hormone endorpin. Yoga will inhibit the increase of sympathetic nerves so that the hormones that cause body dysregulation can be reduced in number. The parasympathetic nervous system signals to influence the release of catecholamines, resulting in a decrease in heart rate, breathing rhythm, blood pressure, muscle tension, metabolic rate and the production of hormones that cause anxiety or stress. To determine the effectiveness of prenatal yoga to improve the quality of sleep of pregnant women TM III.Pre-experimental design is one-group pretest- posttest design where one group of subjects and observations are made before and after treatment. Abstract

The discharge summary form has an important function for the claim process  and further treatment needed by patients in the hospital. The form contains information about the patient's condition from admission to discharge and the patient's follow-up treatment plan. The purpose of this field learning practice is to analyze the causes of incomplete discharge contents for inpatients at Lawang Medika Hospital, Malang Regency, East Java Province using Fishbone diagrams; Urgency, Seriousness, and Growth analysis; and SWOT analysis. Identifying problems using Fishbone diagrams, determine problem solving priorities using Urgency, Seriousness, and Growth analysis; and plan interventions by identifying strategies using SWOT.: Several factors influence the incompleteness of the discharge summary are man, money, method, machine and materials. Due to these factors, priority problems can be determined that must be resolved, so the results obtained are delays in providing forms, there is no SOP for filling out discharge summaries and has not been socialized to officers. To solve this problem, it can be solved with an aggressive strategy obtained from analysis results and SWOT diagrams. The strategy that must be implemented in this condition is to support aggressive growth policies (Growth Oriented Strategy). The hospital can solve problems according to the factors and prioritize problems that must be resolved so as not to hamper the function of the discharge summary

Abstract

Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is a form of hyperglycemia that develops during pregnancy and is associated with maternal and neonatal complications. Women with GDM face increased risks of cesarean delivery, preeclampsia, and mental health issues, while their infants are more prone to macrosomia, neonatal jaundice, and long-term metabolic disorders. This systematic review evaluates the impact of interventions on the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) of pregnant women with diabetes mellitus. A systematic search in Scopus, SAGE, ScienceDirect, and ProQuest was conducted for studies published between 2021 and 2025, following PRISMA 2023 guidelines. From 611,094 initial records, 36 studies met the inclusion criteria, with five selected for in-depth analysis. The JBI critical appraisal tool was used to assess the validity and reliability of findings. Results indicate that digital health interventions, such as mobile fitness applications, improve adherence to pelvic floor exercises, enhancing physical health. Psychological interventions, including self-transcendence nursing models and cognitive-behavioral therapy, effectively reduce stress and enhance emotional well-being. Cardiovascular monitoring is essential, as GDM increases the risk of cardiac complications. Counseling, both face-to-face and app-based, supports self-care and lowers fasting blood glucose levels. In conclusion, a multidisciplinary approach integrating digital technology, psychosocial support, and cardiovascular monitoring is crucial for optimizing maternal and fetal health. Comprehensive care strategies, supported by policy frameworks, can enhance intervention effectiveness and improve the overall quality of life for women with GDM.

Abstract

Turgo area is a disaster-prone area of Mount Merapi activity, and it is at high risk of being affected by Mount Merapi activity. Mitigation carried out by the community greatly influences community preparedness in facing disasters. This study aims to determine the correlation between mitigation and the level of community preparedness in facing the volcanic eruption of Mount Merapi in the Turgo area. This study is a descriptive correlative design using a cross-sectional approach. The study's respondents were 131 respondents selected using stratified random sampling techniques. Data was collected through valid and reliable disaster mitigation and disaster preparedness questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using the Chi-Square test to determine the relationship between mitigation and preparedness variables. The study results showed that the level of community mitigation was mainly in the high category (96.9%), and the level of preparedness was primarily in the good category (93.9%). The analysis results using the Chi-Square test demonstrate no significant correlation between mitigation and preparedness in facing volcanic eruption (p>0.05; r=2,569). This means that there is no statistically significant relationship between mitigation and preparedness. However, there is an optimistic tendency that better mitigation is followed by higher preparedness. Communities with high mitigation tend to be well prepared. This study recommends a more comprehensive approach, including education, disaster simulations, and cross-sector collaboration to improve community preparedness.
