Abstract

The World Health Organization has stated that COVID-19 is a "global pandemic". However, community attitudes and compliance in maintaining protocols during the pandemic were minimal and raised the issue of "herd immunity". What exactly is herd immunity, how exactly does the body's immune system react to COVID-19 and what is a COVID-19 pandemic? The purpose of writing articles is to provide information about the definition of a pandemic, the body's immune system in dealing with COVID-19, and herd immunity. A systematic review was carried out in May 2020 by searching databases: PubMed, google scholar, NIH, CDC, and Science Direct. Keywords: "Pandemic and COVID 19" and "COVID 19 rapid test and accuracy", "PCR accuracy" and "PCR COVID 19 vs Rapid test" and "Herd immunity". The COVID-19 pandemic occurred because there was a discovery and a new mutation of the SARS-CoV virus becoming very infectious and of high virulence. Herd Immunity cannot be said to be the relevant treatment for COVID-19. It requires a large minimum threshold of immunity to achieve Herd Immunity, and it is very unethical to allow large numbers of individuals to be infected.

Abstract

Uric acid is the end product of purine metabolism. In conditions of high levels, uric acid enters cells and acts as an oxidant, and acts as an independent risk factor and predicts the incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between uric acid levels and blood sugar levels in women of childbearing age prediabetes. This was an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design. This study was conducted in Malang City. A sample size of 100 women of childbearing age were selected using simple random sampling technique. The dependent variable was blood sugar levels women of childbearing age prediabetes. The independent variable is uric acid levels. The data were collected by examining uric acid levels and fasting blood sugar levels in the study subjects. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation. Based on the study results, it was found that uric acid levels were associated with blood sugar levels in prediabetic women of childbearing age (r = 0.21, p = 0.039) and were statistically significant. There is a relationship between uric acid levels and blood sugar levels in prediabetic women of childbearing age.

Inclusion criteria were systematic reviews, clinical reviews, cohort studies, cross-sectional studies, clinical studies, health reports, and program guidelines. Conclusion: Factors influencing stunting including: food insecurity increases the risk of stunting (OR = 1.17 95% CI: 1.09-1.25) and less weight (OR = 1.17 95% CI: 1.01-1.36). lack of sanitation, flooring type and mycotoxin exposure in the form of AF-alb.

Abstract

Background: Not all Covid-19 infections in children are mild and show a good prognosis, so it is very important to define them as a vulnerable population. Information related to the treatment of Covid-19 infection in children is still very limited, so the authors are interested in conducting a systematic review to discuss and provide information related to various types of drugs and treatment of Covid-19 infection in children. Methods: A systematic database search was carried out in July 2020 through the PUBMED and Google Scholar databases. Keywords used include: "children and COVID-19" and "COVID-19 in children and treatment" and "Covid-19 in children and management". Results: The results of the collection of articles were 7 articles that showed various alternative therapies for Covid-19 in children, including traditional Chinese medicine, providing antivirus, giving RNA inhibitors, giving supportive therapy in the form of oxygen. The principle of treatment or treatment in children must follow the symptoms caused by minimizing the administration of antiviral drugs. Conclusion: Supportive therapy is still an option, in the country of origin of the SARS-CoV2 virus, namely Cina, the principles of traditional medicine are widely used in children compared to medical treatment in the form of providing antivirals, because previous studies did not show high effectiveness of antivirals in children.

Abstract

Various psychological disorders have been reported and published during the Covid-19 outbreak, one of which is stress. Stress is not only felt by the community, even health workers and everyone who works in the medical field. Psychological disorders have a wider and longer-lasting impact compared to physical injuries, while attention to mental health is far less. The purpose of this systematic review is to provide clinical evidence and input for increasing vigilance and self-management to avoid stress during the Covid-19 pandemic. A total of 10 articles from various databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, NIH, CDC, and Science Direct involving 5925 health workers and 8770 people from various countries have been reported in this systematic review. Factors causing stress on health workers include: workload, fear of being infected with Covid-19, negative stigma of a virus carrier and being away from the family. Factors causing stress to society include: alcohol consumption, workload from home, income, sex, food limitations, and fears of being infected.
