Abstract

Obstetric complications are complications that occur during the pregnancy process or complications that can occur after the mother gives birth, for example, KPD, Bleeding, Abortion, post date, Preeclampsia and Eclampsia and others that can cause risks to the mother and fetus that will affect labor (. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of obstetric complications (KPD, Pre-eclampsia and Post Date) on the type of labor in Mojokasri Kawaananan, Mojokerto Regency in 2018. The design used in the study is Comparative. Population were all maternal obstetric complications (KPD, Pre Eklampsi, Post Date) in Mojokasri Hospital in June to August 2018 with a total of 186 people. The sample size is 126 respondents, using the simple random technique. Independent variables are Obstetric Complications (KPD, PEB and Post Date) the dependent variable is Type of Labor (Normal, Action, Sectio Caesarea). Data was collected using observation sheets, then analyzed using the Logistic Regression test. Statistical test results obtained from Kebidanan Complications obtained p value of 0,000 <α = 0.05, so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that the variable midwifery complication affects the type of labor Actions / sectio caesarea in Kawedanan Mojokasri, Mojokerto Regency

Abstract

Prevention of infection in dentistry hospital by dentists, dental nurses, and clinical practice students plays an important role in controlling infection including maintaining hand hygiene, use of medical gloves, safe clothes, masks, protection of eyes and head and maintaining the sterility of equipment used for treatment patient. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the use of work environments, equipment and personal protective equipment on practicing students on the incidence of infection of patients in dentistry hospital IIK Kediri. The research design used is quantitative research with observational analytic methods and uses a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a sample of 63 work environments, equipment and Personal Protective Equipment used by students practicing at dentistry hospital IIK Kediri. The results of the research data were analyzed by logistic regression test. The results of statistical analysis with logistic regression showed p = 0,000 (p <0,05), which means that there was influence of the work environment, equipment and personal protective equipment used by students to practice the incidence of infection in dentistry hospital IIK Kediri. Dental health professionals (dentists, dentistry students) who hold dental residencies and nurses and assistants must protect themselves and patients to avoid cross infection, cross contamination and work safety in dental practice

Abstract

Treatment compliance with patients with hypertension is a very important concern to approach morbidity and mortality due to hypertension and to improve the quality of life of patients with hypertension. this condition is inseparable from the existence of families who provide support in the form of their functions and the role of health workers in providing adequate services. The purpose of this study was to analyze treatment adherence to hypertension recipients in terms of health care function and the implementation of family health information package in Bulu village, Balen Bojonegoro district. The design of this study is a quantitative cross sectional approach with a simple random sampling technique as many as 109 respondents with hypertension who received a guided program and data analysis techniques using ordinal regression statistical tests. The results of this study indicate that there are effects of health care function and implementation of family health information package on treatment compliance of hypertensive patients with p value of ordinal regression test of 0,000 which is less than α = 0.05, meaning that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Health care function has an effect of 41.2% and the implementation of family health information package has an effect of 48.7%, and is influenced by other factors by 28.4%. The influence of the family in the form of health care functions and health workers in the form of implementing family health information package proves the value of good treatment compliance in patients with hypertension, because patients feel more attention from various parties both internal and external.

Abstract

The increase of assurance participant, impact to increase inpatient at hospital. Some of participant choose to upgrade their treatman class, really if they don’t upgrade treatmen class they don’t need to pay more for their treatman. Purpose of this research are analysis factors that influence behaviour to upgrade class treatmen to VIP class at dr.Iskak hospital that include of perception, knowledge,income, and family support.This is a kuantitatif reseach with approch cross sectional. The population was all BPJS patient that treat at VIP dr. Iskak hospital Tulung Agung since 1st June until 31 of July 2018. Sample of research were some of BPJS patients that treated at VIP class dr.Iskak hospital Tulungagung = 182.The data collect by simple ramdom sampling. Independent variables are Perception, Income,Knowledge, Family Support. Dependent variable is Upgrade treatment class to VIP. Statistic analysis with logistic regression. Result of the research, all of independent variable are simultanetaneously influence BPJS patient choosing to upgrade treatmen class to VIP class at dr.Iskak hospital Tulungagung p value=0,008. In partial, perception p-value 0,956 ( >0,05 ), income p-value 0,001 ( <0,05 ), knowledge p-value 0,854 ( >0,05 ), family support p-value 0,021 (< 0,05).In this research, income and family support are influencing BPJS patient to upgrade treatmen class. But perception and knowledge are not influencing. And the dominan factor is income. Without good income, behaviour upgrade class treatmen not going to do

Abstract

Premature labor or Parturition Prematurus is labor that occurs at a gestational age of less than 37 weeks, which is calculated from the first day of last menstruation. The cause of death of infants and toddlers is a problem that occurs in newborns / neonatal (0-28 days). Where problems in neonatal include: asphyxia, LBW, and infection. Premature infant deaths that occur at less than 32 weeks' gestation can cause death as much as 15 to 75 times more than babies born at term.This type of research is quantitative observational analytic cross sectional approach. This study was conducted from September 24 to October 24, 2018 in the District Hospital of Mojokerto with a population of 312 women. The sample size is 104 respondents. The independent variables are age, stress of pregnant women, parity, nutrition of pregnant women, anemia. The dependent variable was preterm labor at gestational age <37 mg and normal labor at gestational age> 37 mg. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using logistic regression test with α = 0.05

Abstract

The biggest cause of maternal mortality rates in developing countries, one of which is bleeding after childbirth or commonly called postpartum hemorrhage (PPP). This study was conducted to determine factors that influence the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage. Observational research design with a case control approach. held on 1 - 31 August 2018 with a population of 109 people and a sample of 90 mothers giving birth, sample random sampling technique. Data collection is independent and dependent variable by observation and questionnaire. Data analysis uses logistic regression test. Based on the results of logistic regression test obtained variable bleeding history postpartum p value value of 0.019, preeclampsia p value of 0.012, anemia p value of 0.009 at α = 0.05, the effect of the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage was influenced by a history of postpartum hemorrhage, preeclampsia and anemia significantly. Anemia is a dominant risk factor contributing to the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage. It is recommended that pregnant women take precautions as early as possible with regular pregnancy checks, knowing the factors preventing the occurrence of postpartum hemorrhage, be more careful to prevent complications at the time of delivery.

Abstract

Cataract remains the major cause of blindness in the world, it also has important role in visual disturbance both in developed countries and developing countries. There are factors contributing in the improvement of visual acuity or the result of cataract surgery, some of which are after-surgery care, family’s ability to take care of the after-surgery patient, patient’s knowledge, patient’s behaviour, other underlying disease, and after-surgery complications. The purpose of this research was to seek the most influencing factor towards after-surgery visual acuity. This research was a quantitative research model with analytical observational method, using cross sectional approach. There were 63 respondents consist of cataract patients who has done surgery in general hospitals in Kediri, chose by simple random sampling method. Data analysing technique was done by double linier statistic test. The result of this research using double linier regression test with 63 respondents gave significant value of 0.000. This value was smaller than the p value (0.05 or 5%). This research analysis gave result in conclusion that there were significant effects of knowledge, respondents’ behaviour, family support, and paramedics’ role toward visual acuity in after-surgery cataract patients

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is the main thing that a hospital needs to prioritize in order to survive compete and maintain wahat has happened because the hospital is a business entity engaged in health services. This type of research is quantitative research with observational analytic design with cross-sectional approach. The sample size in this study is 103 respondents taken by simple random side. Data were collected using questionnaires and observation sheets, then analyzed using logistic regression test Simultaneously administration, medical and pharmacy services have a significant effect on waiting time with Sig 0.005 <0.0. while partially only administrative service variables that affect the waiting time with a p-value of 0.036 <α = 0.05. Taken together the administrative services (x1) of medical services (x2) and pharmacy services (x3) are not related to Satisfaction (Y2). While partially there is no effect on satisfaction variables. There is a significant influence between waiting time and patient satisfaction. The results show that if the waiting time is fast then the patients will tend to be 9,435 times more likely to be satisfied. Satisfaction is greatly influenced by waiting time, therefore the hospital must always innovate by utilizing technology to shorten patient waiting time. shorten patient waiting time

Abstract

Leprosy is a disease that can lead to physical disability and psychological disorders in leprosy patients who can be significantly reduced by self care. Several factors that can affect self care in leprosy patients include the degree of disability, stigma, family support and self-acceptance. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence self care in leprosy patients at Daha Husada Kediri Hospital. The research design used in this study is analytic with a cross sectional approach. The number of samples in this study is 116 respondents who meet the inclusion criteria and are taken by the rendom sampling technique. The independent variable in this study is the degree of disability, stigma, family support and self-acceptance while the dependent variable is self care. Data analysis using Pearson Correlation and Beta Coefficient statistical tests The results showed that the majority of leprosy patients had a disability level of 1 (62.9%), moderate stigma (58.6%), high family support (52.6%) and acceptance moderate self (53.4%), The results of the Pearson correlation statistical test showed that family support p 0,000 Pearson correlation 0,483 and self-acceptance p 0,000 Pearson correlation 0,584 were meaningful and from the results of the regression coefficients the Beta Coefficient showed that self-acceptance was the most powerful factor with self care in leprosy patients at Daha Husada Kediri Hospital. Daha Husada Kediri Hospital is expected to be able to further improve health service efforts to change the negative stigma in the community by socializing leprosy

Abstract

One of the causes of workplace accidents is the lack of awareness of the use of personal protective equipment for workers in the workplace. One of the ways to prevent workplace accidents is to require personal protective equipment (PPE) that meets the requirements, namely: comfort in use, does not hinder the work process, and provides effective protection against types of hazards. The objective of this research was to analyze the knowledge, attitudes, actions of employees in the use of personal protective equipment with work accidents at PT. Bisi International, Tbk., Tulungrejo Pare Kediri. The design of this research was quantitative method of correlation(correlation study) and approach cross sectional. The sampling technique was use Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling with a sample of 96 respondents, the processing unit and engineering unit at PT. Bisi International, Tbk., Tulungrejo Pare Kediri. The results of the research data were analyzed by ordinal regression test. The results of statistical analysis with ordinal regression showed that there was no relationship between knowledge, attitudes, actions of employees in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) with the occurrence of work accidents at PT. Bisi International, Tbk., Tulungrejo Pare Kediri. The company must play an active role in giving awareness to employees about the importance of adhering to procedures and complying with the regulations in the use of personal protective equipment while working
