Abstract

This study examined the effect of the free-shipping feature on the Shopee application toward consumer loyalty among residents of Kelurahan Battang Km 07, Palopo City. A quantitative approach was used, with a questionnaire distributed to 40 respondents selected through incidental sampling from a population of 150 active Shopee users aged 18–45 years. The data were analyzed descriptively using a Likert scale and inferentially through simple linear regression, preceded by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results showed that the free-shipping feature had a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty, with a regression equation of Y = 0.489 + 0.939X, a t-value of 8.679 (sig. 0.000), and an R Square of 0.665, indicating that 66.5% of the variance in consumer loyalty was explained by the free-shipping feature. These findings confirm that free shipping functions not merely as a short-term promotion but as a long-term marketing strategy that strengthens Shopee's competitive advantage, contributing practical insight for e-commerce platforms in designing sustainable promotional strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Servant Leadership and Self-Efficacy on Performance through Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in Elders and Deacons throughout the GPM Classis in Ambon City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population was the Elders and Deacons throughout the GPM Classis in Ambon City, totaling 781 people, with a basic population for determining the sample of 225 people from four representative congregations (Bethel, Diakonos, Syaloom, and Pniel). Determination of the number of samples used the Slovin formula with a 10% error rate, resulting in a sample of 69 respondents. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire measured using a Likert scale. Data analysis used the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS software version 4 to test direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results of the study indicate that Self-Efficacy has a positive and significant effect on Performance, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) has a positive and significant effect on Performance, and Servant Leadership has a positive and significant effect on OCB. Conversely, Servant Leadership does not have a significant effect on Performance, and Self-Efficacy does not have a significant effect on OCB. The results of the mediation test indicate that OCB is able to fully mediate the effect of Servant Leadership on Performance, but is unable to mediate the effect of Self-Efficacy on Performance. This finding emphasizes the importance of strengthening service-oriented leadership through the formation of OCB behavior, as well as increasing the Self-Efficacy of Elders and Deacons to support the continuous improvement of service performance throughout the GPM Class of Ambon City.

Abstract

Impulsive buying is the most topic in consumer behaviour and marketing study due to digital commerce, social media, and mobile technologies development. Unfortunately, a comprehensive overview of collaboration patterns, intellectual structure, and emerging research themes are still limited. This study aims to map the development of impulsive buying research within the Business, Management and Accounting discipline using a bibliometric approach. The data is retrieved from the Scopus database using query TITLE-ABS-KEY("impulsive buying") with additional filters restricting documents to journal articles, English language, final publication stage, and the Business subject area published between 2020 and 2026. This study employs VOSviewer to analyse 250 articles that meet selection criteria examining keyword co-authorship, co-occurrence, countries, and organizations, overlay, network, and density visualizations. The publications increase after 2022 reflecting increasing academic interest in impulsive buying. Research themes evolve from traditional consumer behaviour toward livestream shopping, Generation Z, social commerce, trust, materialism, scarcity, and technology-enabled purchasing behaviour. Collaboration analysis indicates China, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom as the most influential contributors. These findings provide a comprehensive understanding of impulsive buying research current intellectual landscape and identify promising directions for future studies.
