Abstract

The way of the cross is for the Lord Jesus Christ to atone for human sins. This is clearly the expression “Christ died  for our sins” (I Cor. 15:3). Next Paul emphasizes His resurrection on the third day (v. 4).This explanation gives an understanding that the cross and the resurrection of Jesus Christ cannot be separated from one another. Both are part of  God's great act with the goal of human salvation. Morris (1994: 116) quotes Walther Kunneth's view as follows: Jesus' death provided atonement and atonement, the "Lamb of God" became a punishment, a sacrifice, was crucified, an act in the place of another.

Abstract

This paper is a theological analysis of the current post-modern situation and conditions showing that there has been a degradation of moral quality in the Indonesian nation, especially in hildren. Many aspects affect the symptoms of moral degradation. The role of parents in motivating Sunday School Children to Worship is not paying enough attention, marked by the lack of children attending worship/child services at the church or happy cottage. The use of less creative learning methods using only one method makes children uninteresting to hear stories and come to the children's service. Then the funding for Sunday School development did not get the attention of the church council, causing Sunday school teachers to go up and down the house to sell groceries to finance Sunday school activities.Christian religious education in moral formation essentially brings a spiritual change for the better (cognitive), which educates, teaches, and achieves a business with a future goal of noble character and fear of God. The moral formation of Sunday school children can be given formally in schools, non-formally in the church environment, namely the assembly, Sunday school teachers and informally in the family as the spearhead in the moral formation of children. These educators are required to be more creative in formulating learning patterns, methods, learning curricula and provide more funding to advance and develop Sunday school. In the application that very important role is 'exemplary' in everyday life, both the example that has been given by God Jesus as a great teacher, an example that is formally displayed by PAK; informal, and informal as well as the application of the 'dining table theory' as exemplified by the Lord Jesus. Of course, all of this cannot be separated from adjusting to the needs and growth and development of children according to conditions and characteristics in a holistic, effective and creative way. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, where the data obtained are in the form of an explanation of the concept or text and not numbers. The results of the study concluded that the role of Christian religious education on the moral formation of Sunday school children in the GMIM Golgotha congregation was able to develop the potential of Sunday school teachers to create the method of "Active, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning in organizing Sunday school worship, building holistic service partnerships"

Abstract

In the history of the development of the Pentecostal and Charismatic churches there are a number of people who see the phenomena of the manifestation and infilling of the Holy Spirit mocking, laughing, insulting, and even saying heresy as the work of Satan. However, there are a number of testimonies for those who make fun of, laugh at, insult, and even say heresy as the work of Satan on the phenomena of the manifestation and infilling of the Holy Spirit to be faithful and truly in God, even receiving the fullness of the Holy Spirit. This paper aims to find the true meaning and understand Matthew 12:31-32 based on Friedrich D. E. Schleiemacher's parallelization and romantic approach to hermeneutics, so as to gain a valid and highly anticipatory understanding in the life of Christian faith. The qualitative research method used by the researcher is library research. The result of this study is that as a defense, Jesus challenged the Pharisees that if Jesus used the power of Satan in the name of the power of the Spirit of God, it meant that Jesus was blaspheming the Holy Spirit, then Jesus was ready not to be forgiven. The difference regarding the sin against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the sin against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, does not indicate that there is a difference in degree between the Son of Man and the Holy Spirit. However, the difference lies in the nature of humans themselves, namely humans who are basically "evil"

Abstract

This article aims to determine the leadership and leadership principles of God's people today based on Ezra's leadership principles. To achieve this goal, the author uses a qualitative approach and content analysis method, analyzing the messages conveyed through the primary and secondary literature regarding the focus of the discussion. The results show that there is a dualism in the leaders of God's people today by the development of the world. The dualism of the leader of God's people, among others, is because of a broken relationship with God, relativizing the truth, an ineffective role, a life motivation that is not in accordance with God's will, individual or egocentric attitudes, and regeneration problems. Based on Ezra's leadership, the leadership principles of God's people are having a foundation, depending on God (theocentric), being obedient and loyal to God's call, and being diligent in carrying out the duties and responsibilities as a leader. Thus, the leader of God's people he wants, namely the leader who returns to the statutes and the Word of God in all aspects of life, including his leadership.

Abstract

The church has a purpose stated in Matthew 28:19-20, the verse known as the Great Commission, this commandment is related to God's most important commandment, namely to make all nations elect. The process and implementation of God's Great Commission commandments in accordance with Matthew 28:19-20 Substantially and actualized in the context of a changing era and making information on the gospel message spread quickly through technology that continues to develop. The method used in this research is descriptive textual method (biblical) while the data collection used is library research or library research on several relevant literatures with the subject matter discussed. After conducting a literature review and several attempts through the author's contribution in the form of interpretations, assumptions and assumptions about the main points of the Great Commission, the author concludes that the Mission of Jesus is the global mission of the church today, whatever the concept, design, design or color of the church, the main thing is whether the church can defend and maintain these two goals properly even in various crises that hinder doctrine such as differences in the way of disciples and baptism that often occur in our Christianity. The implication for today's Christian missions is that the first is how to answer the great mandate in 3 mission dimensions such as Holistic, Multicultural and Contextual. The development of an intense system of evangelism and discipleship as a form of obedience to God's commands to produce followers of Jesus who grow spiritually.
