Abstract

Archive Management Information System digitally is a modern solution for managing and storing archival documents. In the era of growing digitalization, the use of a filing management information system is important to optimize efficiency and security in managing records. This study aims to design and implement a digital filing management information system that can facilitate the process of archiving, searching, and maintaining archival documents more effectively and efficiently. The research method used is the waterfall approach, starting from the analysis of user needs, system design, development, testing, to implementation. The information system developed uses the latest technology and is web-based to facilitate access and use from various devices. The main features in this system include document classification and category management, keyword-based search, document preview display, integration with security systems, and monitoring and reporting of user activity. In testing the system, functionality tests, search speed, data security, and user satisfaction are tested. The test results show that this digital filing management information system provides convenience in the filing process, faster document search, and guaranteed security. In implementing the system, training is carried out for users so they can operate the system properly. Within a certain period of time, users provide positive feedback regarding increased efficiency and productivity in managing records. Thus, this digital filing management information system has the potential to increase efficiency and security in managing records. The use of the latest technology in this system allows easy access, fast document search, and effective maintenance. The implication of this research is that the use of a digital filing management information system can be a relevant solution in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of records management in various organizations.

Abstract

The existing system faces challenges in effective scheduling, leading to issues such as miscommunication, schedule mismatches, delayed decision-making, and inefficient data processing. The proposed solution involves implementing a desktop application using Delphi programming language and MySQL database to assist production administrators in creating effective and efficient production schedules. The blackbox testing method is employed to test the system's input and output without considering its internal structure. The testing reveals issues including input-output inconsistencies, limitations in processing complex data, and errors in production time calculations. Proposed recommendations include improving input validation, enhancing data processing capabilities, and refining the production time calculation algorithm. The testing and implementation of the Production Schedule Planning Information System aim to improve production effectiveness, minimize schedule mismatches, and enhance customer satisfaction at PT. Smartfren Telecom TBK. The blackbox testing method provides insights into system issues and serves as a basis for necessary improvements.

Abstract

Asset Management Information System (AMIS) has become a key element in asset management across various organizations, including educational institutions. Implementing AMIS in educational institutions can provide significant benefits such as asset management efficiency, improved inventory accuracy, and better maintenance. However, certain challenges can arise during the AMIS implementation process, which can affect its success. The research method used in this study is literature review. Literature review is a method used to gather, review, and analyze relevant literature or secondary sources related to the research topic. In this study, the author conducted a literature search through the website https://scholar.google.com, focusing on the implementation of Asset Management Information System (AMIS) in educational institutions. The author used relevant keywords such as "AMIS," "asset management," "implementation," and "educational institution" to search for literature relevant to the research topic. The analysis results indicate that implementing AMIS in educational institutions can provide significant benefits. The main benefits include improved efficiency in asset management, reduced operational costs, increased transparency in asset utilization, and improved scheduled maintenance. However, challenges in implementing AMIS in educational institutions also need to be considered. These challenges include organizational culture change, the need for adequate training for involved staff, integration with existing systems, and compliance with data security and privacy requirements.

Abstract

Software testing is when we test a product or service to see how good it is in quality. Software testing is the process of examining software objectively and independently. This is useful for companies to know how risky the use of the software is before sending it to customers. Testing is done using white-box testing technique, which is considered a futile strategy because testing requires large resources. In this study, researchers used a black box approach because this test focuses on system functionality and functional requirements identified at the software analysis stage. The following objectives were set for the design of this system: • Designing a web application for laundry services using PHP. • Building a system that can store data in real time and facilitate the collection and processing of consumer, employee, supplier and asset information. • We provide facilities for billing and Accurate and structured event reporting. Testing of the laundry service web application system developed using the black box testing methodology shows that the system is able to display failed login notifications on the login menu, improve customer flow, and administrative and customer-specific dashboards with a normal Create test data display.

Abstract

Cloud computing has emerged as a transformative technology in the field of Management Information Systems (MIS). It offers numerous benefits, such as cost savings, scalability, and flexibility, which have attracted organizations to adopt cloud computing solutions. This paper presents a systematic literature review (SLR) of cloud computing adoption in the context of MIS. The objective of this SLR is to provide an overview of the current state of research, identify key trends, and highlight research gaps in the adoption of cloud computing in MIS.

Abstract

Inventory recording for goods or products involves recording both outgoing and incoming transactions. Outgoing recording refers to the transactions or orders for goods as per the supplier or customer requests, which are then recorded by the warehouse personnel. On the other hand, incoming recording involves adding stock of goods or raw materials, which is recorded by the warehouse personnel. In the case of the inventory being researched by the author, the process of recording outgoing and incoming goods is still manual, utilizing Microsoft Office Excel. This is because the application does not have the capability to store data and information centrally in a database. To address this issue, the author has transitioned from the previous manual process to a computerized system. This allows for more accurate and precise recording of outgoing and incoming goods, with data displayed centrally, resulting in increased effectiveness and efficiency.

Abstract

This research addresses the issues faced by SMK Bina Putra Mandiri school in terms of efficiency and effectiveness in administrative processes. The identified problems include the time-consuming nature of managing student and staff data, lack of integration between different departments, and difficulties in delivering timely and accurate information to stakeholders. To address these issues, this study proposes the design and implementation of a web-based school information system using the Laravel framework. The methodology employed involves needs analysis through data collection via interviews and observations. Based on the analysis, an integrated school information system is designed using the popular Laravel framework for web application development. In the application of this methodology, features provided by the Laravel framework, such as user management, student and staff data management, and information delivery through easily accessible web pages, are implemented. The proposed information system is expected to enhance efficiency and accuracy in school administration. The results of testing and evaluation demonstrate that the implementation of the web-based school information system using the Laravel framework effectively addresses the identified issues. It significantly reduces the time required for managing student and staff data, improves integration between different departments, and facilitates the timely and accurate delivery of information to stakeholders. Thus, the application of this methodology offers significant benefits in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of school administrative processes at SMK Bina Putra Mandiri.

Abstract

The purpose of application testing is to verify that the program works correctly so that the created program is of high quality. The testing technique consists of Whitebox testing and Blackbox testing which are widely used by researchers. The survey software that Blackbox testing is investigating is the best sales selection system that consists of a single form that is filled out with both sales information and sales results while you are in the business. Best Sales Selection is tested by Blackbox testing, where the purpose of this test is only to see that the program is the same as the desired function of the program without using the program code used. Types of testing for different Blackbox methods, one of which is equivalent slices used by the authors in this study. The technique of Equivalent Partitions is a test based on entering the data of each form into a bestselling selection system, each menu item is tested and grouped according to activity whether it is valid or invalid. Thus, this test is expected to have the quality of the software produced according to the expected performance and can benefit the company.

Abstract

CV Mutiara Abadi is a place that sells clothes in Legok. The system used at CV Mutiara Abadi is still very manual starting from data collection, transactions and reporting. Data collection of goods and transactions still uses handwriting so that recording errors often occur and it is difficult to find data due to accumulation of files. Therefore it is necessary to solve the problem to make it easier for staff to work, namely by making a program of transactions and stock of goods using the waterfall method, the process is structured and then tested with blackbox testing so as to produce an effective and efficient quality program. This program is expected to be able to support all sales and inventory data collection activities at CV Mutiara Abadi as a whole so that it can improve transaction services and inventory data collection and report generation.

This application makes it easy for campus security to verify student identities quickly and accurately. This development utilizes the Rational Unifed Process (RUP) method with the stages of needs analysis.The design,implementation,and testing in this study demonstrate application built is able to accurately recognize the QR code on students' KTM and provide fast identity verification
