Abstract

Biology, as one field of science, provides various learning experience to understand the concept and the process of science. Biology subject aims at promoting positive attitudes toward Biology by realizing the orderliness and the beauty of the universe and praising the Almighty of God. It is also responsible for establishing Islamic values through instructional materials being taught and consequently the instructional goals can be attained. To arrive at such goals, particular learning approach, strategy, and even method which integrate Islamic values into instructional materials are really needed. This, in turn, will make learning meaningful to students and promote better learning output. Nevertheless, teachers’ readiness, evaluation system and the availability of learning facilities might become the pitfalls.Kata kunci: strategi dan metoda pembelajaran, nilai-nilai imtaq

Abstract

This article aims at analyzing spiritual intelligence based education since the basically, the goal of education is to build perfect human (insan kamil). Such goal can be realized as long as the pupils are able to integrate all of their potential intelligences. Those potentials are physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual intelligences. The integration of those intelligences is called spiritual intelligence. Furthermore, spiritual intelligence based education basically encourages the pupils to apply the values of spiritual (ilahiyat) in establishing relationship among humans and other creatures on the basis of God’s mercy.Kata kunci: pendidikan, kecerdasan ruhaniah

Abstract

In this article, the researcher tried to discuss the thinking way of Ibnu Sina about Islamic education, especially in teaching behaviour. It was due to teaching behaviour was the basic principle to achieve the target of teaching. For Ibnu Sina, the teaching behaviour could be explored through discussion and socialization among the children of the same age. It was because they had a sense of imitation. In teaching bahaviour, a teacher had to consider the children’s psychology because this might influence the successful of teaching. Meanwhile, as a medium of teaching behaviour, Ibnu Sina had used a poem as a tool to spread the value of good behaviour.Kata kunci: pemikiran, pendidikan, akhlak

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the learning process of electrolysis cell matter which covered the planning, implementation, and evaluation; and analysis of theunderstanding of students’ concept (conception)  as well as the finding of the cause of the misconceptions and not understanding in matter of electrolysis cell. The study used was descriptive analysis. It was used to answer the problem’s formulation in this study. The object of this research were the process of learning and students’ conceptions. The subjects of this study were students in grade XII IA I and IA II and chemistry teacher in grade XII IA at SMAN 1  Panti. Instruments in this study were the observation guide, a recorder (Handycam) and two tier diagnostic test.Based on the data analysis, it is found that (1) learning process in the electrolysis cell matter in SMAN 1 Panti was not in accordance with the standards of process (2) Students IA I and IA II had misconceptions and did not understand the whole concept in electrolysis cell matter. (3) The cause of misconceptions and not understanding of students were mainly the teachers and students. The learning process should be conducted in accordance with the standards of process that has been established by government in order to ensure learning carried out effectively, so the quality of learning can be improved.Kata kunci: analisis, proses pembelajaran, elektrokimia

Abstract

Placement and Distribution service is one of services that are provided in counseling. In senior high school level, this service is provided to place students to their relevant department. Previously, before psychological test was used, placing students into particular departments were only on the basis of their learning achievements. Consequently, higher achievement students were placed into natural science department while the lower ones were placed into social science one. Recently, due to the frequent uses of psychological test in recruiting employees and selecting new college entries, the test is also considered in helping school counselor to place their students into their appropriate department, both in terms of potential and academic achievements. It is expected that placing students into their appropriate any potential problems that the students might encounter in their study can be minimized.Kata kunci: tes psikologi, layanan penempatan dan penyaluran,   penjurusan

Abstract

This study aimed at describing students’ ability in finding solutions of the problems dealing with managerial problems found at Islamic schools as the conducted survey. Based on the data analysis and discussion, it was found that the students’ ability in finding solution was good. Students’ response toward the learning process of Manajemen Pendidikan (Educational Management) subject employing Islamic school management survey in general was effective because  most of students gave positive responses.Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis masalah, manajemen pendidikan, dan survei manajemen madrasah

Abstract

Arabic has unique characteristics which are found in other languages. This makes Arabic a flexible language and has high of elasticity. As a result, in fulfilling and maintaining its function as a means for communication, a medium of delivering Islamic information, a tool for recording of knowledge, Arabic has been able to carry out them very well. However, due to its nature, discussing about Arabic cannot be separated from sounds and meanings since language is basically sounds which produced by the speaker to reveal his thoughts and feelings to achieve particular purposes. Sounds (lafaz) are limited while meanings develop in line with the development in science and technology. As a result, the more findings have been made, the more meanings are required to reveal the findings. In this context, the phenomena of single sound implies several meanings or one meaning required more sounds in Arabic are known as isytirak al-lafzi wa al-maknahu wa al-tuudad. Further and deeper studies need to carry out to avoid the possible mistakes in expressing meanings of Arabic words, especially those of the Holy Quran.Kata kunci:  ترادف ,  لغة

Teacher plays strategic roles in realizing qualified human resources. Any attempts made in improving human resources quality without involving teacher will end in difficulties since the teacher is the key persons in determining the quality of education. Consequently, teachers are expected to have professionalism by mastering such competencies as pedagogic, professional, social and personal. To ensure the mastery of those competencies, various programs need to carry out.
