Abstract

This research aims to produce a medium of learning in the form of game CD Interactive discussion on part of the subject hydrocarbon reactions to senior high schools that can be used as a medium of learning and to find out its feasibility. Interactive CD media in the form of the game was created using Macromedia Flash 8 program. This type of research is done is research Research and Development (R&D), the research methods used to produce a particular product, and test the effectiveness of the product. Interactive CD in a game that made ​​30 people tested for class XI science students SMA Negeri 1Batang Ana it he terms of form, motivation, and practicality. Terms of the content by theUNP chemistry lecturer, chemistry teachers SMA Negeri 1Batang Anai, chemistry teachers from other schools that are all a total of 11students majoring in chemistry and a total of 30 people. The instrument used was questionnaire in the form of Likert scale. Feasibility of the media are made of the analytical results obtained by questionnaire lecturer and teacher at 3.45, from 3.46 for the student questionnaires, and questionnaires from students majoring in chemistry at 3.40. The results showed that the Interactive CD media in the form of this game is worthy of discussion part of the subject used in hydrocarbon reactions both in terms of shape/appearance, content, motivation and practicality.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT Inulin-RBB is a compound that used for screening of inulinase bacteria. Formation of inulin-RBB compounds in the mass variation of inulin and the reaction temperature and the determination of RBB concentation in inulin-RBB has been carried out. Determination of RBB concentration in inulin-RBB on the HPLC using an ODS C18 column, l 592 nm, mobile phase ethanol-water (60:40) and flow rate 1 mL/min. RBB concentration of  inulin-RBB in the mass variation of inulin (2 g, 4 g and 6 g) which was reacted with 0.5 g of RBB at 50°C is 4.74%, 23.14%, and 38.54%, respectively. RBB concentration of inulin-RBB in the reaction with 0.5 g of inulin 4 g of RBB at the reaction temperature variations (40, 50 and 60 ° C) is 18.86%, 23.14%, 9.40%, respectively. Key words: RBB, inulin-RBB, inulin, HPLC

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning module of chemistry based of guided inquiry in colloidal system and reveal the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of chemistry learning module subject of guided inquiry-based colloidal system. This learning module is tested on grade 11th’s students of SMAN 2 Painan, and has a reliability of 0.615. This research concludes that the chemistry learning module of the subject of colloid system based on guided inquiry is feasible to be used as a high school chemistry learning module

Abstract

Chemo-entrepreneurship has been used as a contextual learning in chemistry and it can be used to study the material processing into a product of economic value. The aim of this research was to produce teaching material in the form a chemistry module based chemo-entrepreneurship oriented for grade XI students on the odd semester. The research and development approach was used in this study. The data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The result of the analysis showed the validation score of the module as very valid. Practicality tests based on student and teacher responses have shown that positive response toward module of chemo-entrepreneurship oriented. The effectiveness test module has been done based on student learning outcomes and showed effective category. In conclusion, the finding showed the module based chemo-entrepreneurship oriented for chemistry learning as valid, practical and effective for use in grade XI students on the odd semester.

Abstract

Logam Zn (seng) merupakan salah satu logam berat berbahaya yang dapat mencemari lingkungan. Salah satunya pencemaran pada perairan, pencemaran ini disebabkan dari berbagai pembuangan limbah industri seperti tekstil, kayu, pelapis logam dan lain-lain. Ada berbagai cara yang dapat digunakan untuk menangani pencemaran lingkungan ini, seperti penggunaan karbon aktif, hidroksida pengandapan, selaput pemisahaan dan lain-lain, namun Teknik ini masih meninggalkan masalah seperti penanganan lumpur kimia yang dihasilkan dan biaya yang masih mahal. Adsorpsi dengan biomassa hadir sebagai alternatif karena biaya yang relatif rendah dan kemudahan dalam pengoperasiannya. Biomassa ini bisa didapatkan dari bebagai buah dengan menggunakan kulit buah, seperti kulit jeruk, kulit lengkeng, kakao dan durian. Kulit buah ini mengandung senyawa selulosa dan pektin yang dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan penyerap ion logam berat.

Abstract

In writing scientific work, a work system is needed online (online) so that the search process is fast and accurate. The online data-based writing model with endnote application is an alternative model of scientific writing that can be applied to school teacher teachers and lecturers. The purpose of this study was to develop a model of scientific writing and measure the effectiveness of its application to MGMP Chemistry teachers in Padang Panjang City. The method used is the development of the ADDIE model and the success test with CV (Coefficient of Variations). Implementation is carried out on all Chemistry teacher teachers who are members of the Padangpanjang City Chemical MGMP. Each teacher will receive training and assistance in creating an Online Library as a database. The training continued with the application of the preparation of scientific works based on student learning outcomes data in each school. From the results of the study, it was found that the level of ease in literacy and compilation of scientific work reached 70% SS and 30% S. The level of interest of Master in compiling scientific work with Endnote reached 30%. SS san 70% S. The desire of participants to start compiling scientific work reaches 20% US, 60% S and 20% SS. The training effectiveness test found that the coefficient of variation had decreased from 2.75% to 1.63%, so it could be concluded that the model for the preparation of scientific work was successfully applied to the Teachers of the Padangpanjang Chemical MGMP.

Abstract

This society service was done at the request from teachers of SMAN 3 Padang Panjang in 2019. In this activity, teachers were given materials on technology based media and techniques to develop it accordingly to the demand of national curriculum. 20 teachers followed the activity that began with the installation of ebook maker program, tutorial on getting and editing media from online resources, introduction to appropriate learning media, development of e-module integrating video, audio, animation, hyperlink and other interactive features, and distribution of Likert scale questionnaire on the last day of the activity. Data showed that terachers had facilities, access and support to implement technology based learning. E-module got positive response from teachers of SMAN 3 Padang Panjang, for it is perceived to be capable of delivering learning material and evaluation effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to develop e-module teaching materials based on problem-based learning integrated scientific literacy and demonstration videos on acid and base materials that are useful for assisting the learning process of students. This research belongs to Educational Design Research (EDR) with the Plomp development model. The research tools used are interview forms, validity, and practicality questionnaires. The electronic module is verified by six verifiers, Including three lecturers and chemistry teachers. The data shows that problem-based learning e-module teaching materials and equipped with scientific literacy along with demonstration videos are needed. The data were analyzed using the Content Validity Ratio (CVR), the Aikens'V formula, and the percentage of practicality. Analysis of the validity questionnaire data showed an average CVR score of 1 (for content validity) and Aikens' V average score of 0.88 (for construct validity). Analysis of the practicality questionnaire data showed an average score of 90% and 89% (for small group and field test practicalities). The data analysis shows that the e-module has a high level of validity and practicality. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed electronic module teaching materials based on problem learning integrated scientific literacy and demonstration videos are valid and practical.
