Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of employee training on the performance of staff in the Indonesian Customer Service Department at BPO Port City, Sri Lanka. In the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry, the quality of customer service is heavily reliant on employee competence and professionalism. BPO Port City, as a leading customer service provider, faces challenges in ensuring its employees possess the necessary skills to meet customer expectations. This research is grounded in the importance of training in enhancing employee skills and knowledge, ultimately aiming to improve employee performance. The problem addressed in this study is whether the training provided significantly influences the performance of employees in the Indonesian Customer Service Department at BPO Port City. The research employs a quantitative approach with a survey technique. Data will be collected through questionnaires distributed to 20 employees in the Indonesian Customer Service Department at BPO Port City, Sri Lanka. Data analysis will utilize descriptive statistics and simple linear regression to examine the relationship between training and employee performance using SPSS software. Preliminary findings indicate that training positively and significantly affects employee performance. Proper training can enhance employees’ abilities to complete their tasks more efficiently, thereby contributing to improved performance. These findings recommend that BPO Port City’s management continue to enhance training programs to support organizational goals.

Abstract

Law Number 1 of 2022 concerning Financial Relations Between the Central Government and Regional Governments, becomes a law that regulates fiscal authority in regions in managing Motor Vehicle Tax revenues. Through the implementation of the Motor Vehicle Tax opsen scheme as a form of tax intensification in an effort to increase the potential for Regional Original Income. This study aims to analyze and determine how the implementation of tax intensification in increasing the potential for Regional Original Income through the implementation of the opsen scheme in collecting Motor Vehicle Tax in the East Surabaya Region. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The findings in this study indicate that there are efforts to increase the potential for Regional Original Income revenues through tax intensification by the East Surabaya Regional Revenue Management Technical Implementation Unit which has the authority to manage the implementation of the Motor Vehicle Tax opsen scheme in the East Surabaya Region.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of internal communication and work culture on optimizing the performance of educators at SD Islam Teratai Putih Global. The approach method in this study uses a quantitative method with data collection through distributing questionnaires. The population in this study were all educators at SD Islam Teratai Putih Global, totaling 65 people, and all of them were used as research samples using saturated sampling techniques. The data analysis techniques used were data quality testing, classical assumption testing, hypothesis testing, and determination coefficient testing, which were carried out using SPSS 27. The results of the analysis showed that internal communication had a positive and significant effect on the performance of educators partially with a t-count of 2,640 t-table 1,999 and a significance of 0.010 0.05. Work culture also had a positive and significant effect on the performance of educators with a t-count of 4,816 1,999 and a significance of 0.001 0.05. Simultaneously, internal communication and work culture have a positive and significant effect on the performance of educators with a calculated f value of 27.281 f table 3.15 and a significance of 0.001 0.05.

Abstract

This research studies the manner of implementation of marriage itsbat in the Mojokerto Religious Court, especially in situations where one or both spouses are deceased, with a focus on the Judgment Establishing Marriage Itsbat Number 111/Revd. P/2022/PA. Mr. Itsbat marriage is a legal step to certify a marriage that has not been formally registered, providing legal clarity for the couple and their offspring. The purpose of this study is to know the legal steps of itsbat marriage in that situation, the legal basis used by judges, and the implementation of related legal rules. Using qualitative research methods and a case study approach, data were collected through observation , interviews, and documentation at the Mojokerto Religious Court. Research findings show that itsbat marriage for a couple who has lost one of the parties is conducted through applications that require careful examination of evidence and witnesses . Judges apply national law and Islamic law simultaneously , with emphasis on the importance of fairness, legal certainty , and legal merit. However, the study also found deficiencies in legal protection, particularly for third parties as well as new facts after the decision . These findings highlight the need for the existence of technical rules and means of administrative restraint so that substantive justice can be strengthened , as well as being a practical guide for the judicial apparatus in dealing with complicated cases of itsbat marriage .

Abstract

This study aims to describe the attitudes of children towards parenting practices at the Pelangi Kasih Orphanage in Medan Helvetia. Children, as a trust and gift from Allah SWT, require care that addresses physical, psychological, social, cognitive, and spiritual aspects. As primary caregivers, parents or care institutions play a crucial role in creating a loving and secure environment for children. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to depict the children's attitudes towards the parenting practices implemented at the orphanage. Data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires or surveys are used to describe children's attitudes towards regulations, coaching, and relationships between leaders, caregivers, and foster children. The collected data will be analyzed descriptively, by calculating the frequency of answers or measuring the intensity of children's attitudes (positive, neutral, or negative).Attitudes towards guidance were divided between agreement and disagreement, while the relationship between the leadership, caregivers, and children was predominantly marked by dissatisfaction. These findings suggest the need for evaluation and improvement in communication, interaction, and the quality of guidance at the orphanage. The study recommends a more flexible and responsive approach in implementing parenting practices, with a focus on adjusting programs to better meet the needs of the children at Pelangi Kasih Orphanage in Medan Helvetia

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and compensation on employee performance at PT BCA Finance. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed to employees as respondents. The data obtained were then analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the simultaneous and partial effects of the motivation and compensation variables on employee performance. The statistical method used is called the traditional method because it has been used for a long time and has become established as a method for research. This method is referred to as the positivistic method because it is based on the philosophy of positivism. The research results indicate that motivation and compensation together have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Partially, both motivation and compensation also have a positive influence on improving employee performance. These findings indicate that efforts to enhance motivation and provide fair compensation can be effective strategies for improving employee performance at PT BCA Finance. Therefore, the company is advised to continue paying attention to both aspects in order to achieve organizational goals optimally. The results of the T-test yielded a significance value of 0.043, and the results of the F-test yielded a value of 2.802.

Abstract

The increasingly modern development of the coffee business has triggered fierce competition, including among MSME players. Garasi HOC Malang is one MSME that competes through pricing strategies and building customer trust. However, there has been no research examining the influence of these two factors on consumer purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the influence of price and consumer trust on purchasing decisions at Garasi HOC Malang SME. This study uses a quantitative approach with explanatory research. Data was collected through an online questionnaire from 100 respondents who had purchased products at Garasi HOC Malang, using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was conducted through validity and reliability tests, multiple regression analysis, and classical assumption tests. The results show that, partially, price and consumer trust have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, both have a significant effect with an F value greater than the F table value. The coefficient of determination indicates that variations in purchase decisions are influenced by price and consumer trust. MSMEs are advised to continue maintaining their pricing strategies and building trust in order to increase consumer purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of Teacher Professional Development (TPD) on the implementation of Technology-Enhanced Language Learning (TELL) in English language teaching at SMPN 2 Monano. Despite the availability of training, many teachers face challenges in integrating technology due to infrastructural barriers, insufficient hands-on practice, and lack of continuous support. Using a qualitative design, the research employed interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis to investigate how TPD affects teachers’ confidence, competence, and pedagogical practices. The findings reveal that professional development encourages a shift from traditional methods to more interactive strategies aligned with the TPACK framework, leading to greater student engagement, comprehension, and confidence. However, limitations such as unequal access to devices, unstable internet connectivity, and misuse of technology persist, particularly in rural contexts. The study concludes that continuous, contextualized, and practice-based professional development is crucial to bridge the gap between training and real classroom practices, thereby promoting sustainable integration of digital tools in English language education.

Abstract

Examining the impact of pay and work discipline on employee loyalty at PT Aldimana Solusi Teknologi is the aim of this research. The significance of preserving employee loyalty for the long-term viability and efficiency of business operations serves as the driving force behind this research. Three research topics comprise the primary emphasis of this study: (1) how work discipline affects employee loyalty; (2) how remuneration affects employee loyalty; and (3) how work discipline and compensation together affect employee loyalty. Among the data analysis techniques included in this quantitative research are multiple linear regression, validity testing, reliability testing, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. Software called SPSS v23 was used to help with the analysis. 35 participants who worked at PT Aldimana Solusi Teknologi provided information via questionnaires using a Likert scale, interviews, and observation. The results of the research show that employee loyalty is not significantly impacted by work discipline (t-calculated = 1.107 t-table = 2.037; p = 0.166 0.05). Additionally, it was shown that loyalty was significantly positively impacted by pay (t-calculated = 2.492 t-table = 2.037; p = 0.018 0.05). The combined effect of pay and work discipline on employee loyalty is 27.9%, according to the modified R-squared value of 0.279. This result implies that proper remuneration has a greater impact on gains in employee loyalty than work discipline.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the potential adoption of Bitcoin as a geopolitical instrument in support of Indonesia’s national interests, with a case study on Archipelago’s Daya Anagatha PT (Danantara). The research method adopted was qualitative descriptive-analytical with a global political diplomacy approach. Data were collected through interviews with key informants as well as a study of literature related to regulation, policy, and global dynamics regarding crypto assets. The research results show that Bitcoin has a strategic potential to reduce Indonesia’s dependence on the U.S. dollar, enhance the competitiveness of the digital economy, and strengthen Indonesia’s position in the global financial system. However, its implementation still faces significant challenges, including immature regulations, price volatility, technology infrastructure limitations, and geopolitical risks. Based on the findings, the study recommends strengthening national regulation, enhancing technological and human resource capacities, as well as crypto-based economic diplomacy strategies. Thus, Indonesia can more optimally utilize the opportunities of Bitcoin adoption to support economic self-sufficiency and national interests.
