Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the paradigm of da'wah in Indonesia, including among students. The phenomenon of digital da'wah is characterized by the use of social media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and podcasts, along with the culture of "swipe and scroll" in information consumption. This research aims to analyze the forms, patterns, motivations, strategies, and impacts of digital da'wah carried out by students in the digital era. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection through digital content studies, namely the analysis of da'wah content produced and shared by students on various social media platforms. Thematic analysis was carried out to identify communication patterns, strategies, motivations, and impacts of digital da'wah. The results of the study show that students convey da'wah through visual, audio-visual, and interactive forms that are educational, persuasive, and inspiring. The motivation of digital da'wah students includes spiritual, social, and self-development, even though they face challenges such as popularity pressure, the risk of simplifying materials, and maintaining the value of sincerity. An effective digital da'wah strategy includes understanding the audience's character, choosing the right media, presenting creative and communicative content, and strong digital literacy. The impact of digital da'wah for students and pesantren is positive and significant, including expanding the reach of da'wah, improving the competence of students, and strengthening the image of pesantren as adaptive institutions, while at the same time creating ethical and strategic challenges that require guidance so that da'wah remains relevant and meaningful.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the South Hamlet KUA (Office of Religious Affairs) in preventing early marriage and the factors that support and hinder the role of the South Hamlet KUA in preventing early marriage in Buntok, Central Kalimantan. Early marriage is a marriage between a man and a woman who are still under the age of 19. Early marriage remains a complex issue, influenced by various factors such as economics, culture, education, pregnancy outside of marriage, and religious understanding. This study uses a qualitative approach with field research and is supported by references related to the theme discussed in this study. The object of this study is the role of the South Hamlet KUA in preventing early marriage in Buntok, Central Kalimantan. The subject of this study is one extension worker at the South Hamlet KUA. To obtain field data, interviews were used as the main data source, along with documentation. The results of the study conclude that the South Hamlet KUA acts as a motivator and guide. The South Hamlet KUA collaborates with various other institutions such as the Religious Court, the Buntok Health Centre and the Baru Health Centre, as well as the Population and Civil Registry Office. There are two South Hamlet KUA programmes to prevent early marriage: socialisation and marriage guidance before the marriage takes place. A supporting factor for the South Hamlet KUA in preventing early marriage is the availability of operational funds. The obstacle faced by the South Hamlet KUA in preventing early marriage is the lack of awareness and understanding among the community. The solution to the obstacles faced by the South Hamlet KUA in preventing early marriage is to consistently implement government programmes.
