Abstract

Many researchers in behavioural organizational science found that multidimensional effectof commitment variables- effective commitment; continuance commitment and normativecommitment- have different influence to turnover intention. This research aims to investigateinfluence multidimensional effect of commitment to turn over intention and to analyzemultidimensional of commitment as mediator variables. Questionaires distribute amonglectures and nurses of Sultan Agung Fondation amounting 59 respondents. The result usingregression analysis find that all of multidimensional of commitment have no significance toturn over intention and discussed deeply in discussion session. Keywords : Multidimensional, Commitment, Organizational, Turnover Intention

Abstract

Need for closure is a new construct in consumer behavior and marketing management research. This construct is considerably robust to measure consumer’s epistemic motivation.Epistemic motivation is a desire based action to obtain relevant knowledge to make judgmentor buying decision. Previous study measures need for closure construct with reflective measurementmodel specification. Conceptual analysis shows that need for closure construct isa formative model due to the equality of its dimensions. This study shows strong evidencethat formative measurement model specification is more robust than reflective model to testthe model of influence of need for closure of online consumer and flow level in the internetenvironmentKeywords : Need For Closure, Flow, Formative, Reflective, Online Consumer

Abstract

Many companies use self-service technology nowadays as a result of advances in technology. In the specific, those companies replace personal services with self-service technologyfacilities. For instance, a bank can use automatic teller machine (ATM) instead of a bank tellerinside the bank. The use of self-service technologies is aimed to fulfill the variety of consumers’needs. However, not many research focus on the impact of self-service technology onconsumer satisfaction and loyalty. Therefore, the aim of this research is to test a model of theimpact of self-service technology on consumer satisfaction and loyalty. This research replicatedthe model which was developed by Beatson et al. (22006006) and extend the model by adding a variablecalled consumer loyalty. Questionnaires were distributed to respondents by the drop-off/pick-up method and a total of 372 completed questionnaires were used in the analysis. The datawas then analyzed using structural equation modeling. All research hypotheses were supportedthis paper also provides the implications for theoretical and managerial and offers directions forfuture research. Keywords : Self-Service Technology, Personal Service, Consumer Satisfaction, Commitment, and Consumer Loyalty

Abstract

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to analyze timelines of financial statement reporting andfinancial performance in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). Samples in this study are IDXpublic companies listed in 1999-2005. The research questions are tested by running ANOVAto analyze whether any differences in timelines of financial statement reporting and financialperformance between years and between size and also independent t test to analyze whetherany differences in timelines of financial statement and financial performance between industry.Timelines (KW) proxied by dummy variable, 1 if companies published financial reportingbefore 120 days after December 31 and 0 otherwise. Financial performance proxied bySales, Asset, Earning After Tax (EAT), Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Equity (ROE),and Sales Growth. The results of between year comparisons show that there are differences(increasing) between years for EAT, ROI and KW. These suggest that firm performance andtimelines of financial statement reporting are increasing over time. The results of betweensize comparisons show that there are differences between size for EAT, Sales and KW. Thebigger the size, the higher the financial performance and the timelines. The results of betweenindustry comparisons show that there are differences for Asset and EAT. Base on these variables, financial performance in service industry higher than manufacture industry. Keywords : Timelines, Financial Performance

The first objective of this paper is to explainbank regulatory and the important of market discipline to complement bank regulatory. Thesecond objective is to explain the framework of market discipline theory and ask some issue:what is market discipline, why the call for market discipline, how market discipline relates toagency conflict in finance theory and how is the framework of market discipline in banking. The third objective is to review some empirical research in market discipline. Keywords : Banking Crises, Moral Hazard, Market Discipline and Bank Regulatory

Analysis result of the affective commitment has positive effect on job satisfaction, continuance commitment has negative effect on job satisfaction, affective commitment hasnegative effect on turnover intentions, continuance commitment has negative effect on jobsatisfaction, and job satisfaction has negative influence to turnover intentions. This resultconsistent with research done by Ketchand and Strawser (1998) and Kadir (2003).
