Abstract

Karya-karya ilustrasi cat air Imam Zakaria memiliki daya tarik dengan sket cat air cepat dengan mengamati objek secara langsung memberikan berbagai sudut pandang dalam mencitrakan objek. Keberagaman festival diangkat oleh posnesia dengan menghadirkan karya ilustrasi teknik cat air. Citra festival yang beragam dipindahkan ke dalam media kartu pos oleh Imam Zakaria dengan penyederhanaan visual tetap mempertahankan identitas khas festival. Implementasi konsep 3N Ki Hadjar Dewantara yaitu Niteni, Nirokke, dan Nambahi berperan penting dalam proses pembelajaran mata kuliah ilustrasi pada Program Studi pendidikan Seni Rupa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa (PSR FKIP UST) Yogyakarta. Khususnya, ketika menerapkan transformasi karya-karya Imam Zakaria kedalam proses pembelajaran ilustrasi.

Abstract

Perhiasan adalah assesoris yang menempel pada manusia dan sifatnya tiak kekal. Berarti bisa dilepas atau bisa dicopot  kembali.  Fungsi perhiasan adalah untuk bersolek dan mempercantik diri. Produk perhiasan  merupakan salah satu seni yang kehadirannya tidak terlepas dari pengaruh gaya hidup manusia yang selalu mengikuti perkembangan jaman. Dalam hal ini  penuangan unsur keindahan pada sebuah  perhiasan dapat dituangkan melalui berbagai segi artistik yaitu : 1) Memberi proporsi bentuk yang harmonis, yakni ukuran perbandingan panjang lebar tinggi, daripada bentuk dalam gaya tertentu yang ideal, menurut penciptaan desain yang tepat dan serasi. 2) Memberi susunan warna yang harmonis yang menunjang ekspresi bentuk benda.          Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan secara verbal tentang: 1) .Jenis-jenis perhiasan perak yang diproduksi oleh Salim Silver, 2). Jenis motif hias yang diterapkan pada perhiasan perak produksi Salim Silver dan 3). Pertimbangan estetik penerapan motif hias pada perhiasan perak produksi Salim Silver.          Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dan menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian  adalah semua  perhiasan perak produksi Salim Silver. Objek dalam penelitian adalah Jenis-jenis perhiasan perak, motif hias yang diterapkan dan kajian estetik Perhiasan perak produksi Salim Silver.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.                      Dari hasil pembahasan dapat ditarik  kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1) Jenis perhiasan yang dihasilkan oleh Salim Silver dapat dikelompokkan menjadi; Jenis gelang, liontin, cincin dan anting-anting. 2). Motif yang diterapkan pada perhiasan terdiri dari motif geometris, motif tumbuh-tumbuhan dan motif makhluk hidup. yang diterapakan dengan gaya distilir dan dengan cara diukir.3) Pencapaian nilai estetik penerapan motif hias pada berbagai jenis perhiasan yang dilakukan oleh Priyo Salim menggunakan prinsip pengulangan dengan komposisi kebanyakan simetris formal balance.

Abstract

Tujuan dari perancangan corporarate identity ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses perancangan indentitas obyek wisata pemandian air hangat Candi Umbul yang efektif dan komunikatif. Identitas tersebut juga di aplikasikan sebagai upaya untuk membangun citra Wisata Pemandian Air Hangat Candi Umbul, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kunjungan wisata. Perancangan Corporate Identity ini menggunakan prosedur deskriptif melalui analisis SWOT. Dalam konsep perancangan ini, diciptakan model gaya desain yang ilustratif dan dekoratif, yaitu berupa ilustrasi gambar yang merupakan karakter menonjol dari Wisata Pemandian Air HangatUmbul. Bentuk logo yang telah dirancang sebagai Corporate Identity memiliki makna dan fungsi sebagai media penghubung yang diharapkan mampu mengangkat citra positif, termasuk citra wisata pemandian air hangat Candi Umbul pada masyarakat luas sebagai sebuah identitas yang baru.

Abstract

The aim of this senior commitment is to get to know more about sunflowers such as sunflowers from Indonesia but can flourish in Indonesia, known by different names in Indonesia according to the region, how to live sunflowers, how long it takes , its flower characteristics, and its uniqueness that follows the direction of the sun, and then many lessons can be taken from sunflowers. This makes the author interested in better understanding Sunflowers and Making Sunflowers as the basic idea for making artworks with the theme "Eksplorasi Visual Bunga Matahari Sebagai Ide Penciptaan Karya Seni Lukis". The author wants to visualize sunflowers not as suggested, which is poured in a more imaginative and creative work without removing the characteristic or still being able to discuss it as sunflowers and linking its meaning to human beings.           The methods used by the author are: 1). Exploration exploration or searching for new things on a new visit. By exploring ideas, concepts, visual forms, media, techniques, and aesthetics. 2). The design is making sketches with pencils on HVS paper media. 3). Design sketches, works used in visual works of inventions, methods for finding ideas in collections of objects.           The work created by the writer in this final project consists of 7 works with canvas media. The concept in the author's painting is to produce the embodiment of sunflowers in different forms by placing them between objects or being used rather than in reality. The outputs are, among others, "Jangan Menilai Dari Yang Terlihat (110 x 100 cm), Kesabaran Kaktus (100 x 80 cm), Senja Datang Waktunya Pulang(130 x 90 cm), Keluar Dari Zona Nyaman (110 x 90 cm), Berlalu Tanpa Berulang (110 x 100 cm), Broken Is'nt Bad (100 x 70 cm), Dream Catcher (100 x 80 cm) ".

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the essence of mask shape of Dyan Anggraini’s painting in semiotics perspective.This research was descriptive research and the main instrument was the researcher. The subject of the research was the mask of Dyan Anggraini’s painting. Then, the object of the research was the essence of mask shape of Dyan Anggraini’s painting in semiotics perspective in a form of material object (shape, color, property, situation). The research focused on the problem related with the essence of mask of Dyan Anggraini’s painting in semiotics perspective. Data was collected through observation, interview and documentary. The data was analyzed by using descriptive qualitative technique. The validity of data was obtained through the interaction between the researcher and the resource expert.The result of the research shows: the essence of mask shape of Dyan Anggraini’s painting based on perspective theory by Charles Sander Pierce like icon, index and symbol. The icon shows about the expression of the mask, facial expression and nonverbal expression. The index of the painting contains about the culture and the Indonesian mask figure. The symbol shows the essence of mask, mask identity, which is shown through icon and index based on color, shape, property and situation. The researcher can explain that the essence of mask of Dyan Anggraini’s painting through semiotics perspective in order to make easier for the reader to understand.

Abstract

This research was initiated from the concern of Gembira ECD’s management due to the absence of children in the early age that participated in the education program in Singosaren Lor Village and its surrounding area whether in the level of Kindergarten, Playgroup or even in the daily care. This condition occurs due to the local economic condition. In designing the branding of Gembira ECD, the author aims are: 1) designing the branding concept of Gembira ECD in accordance with the image and particular characteristic of this institution, 2) inventing effective and efficient branding design for the community especially the parents of 0-6 years old children, 3) visualizing the design concept that able to expose the institution branding of Gembira ECD.    The art creation concept of this thesis is to invent the institution branding of Gembira ECD by using STP and SWOT analysis which resulted in the target or purpose audience. Based on this analysis, the product's designs were created to promote Gembira ECD through logo creation, nameplate, flyer, id-card, company profile, folding-display desk, sports uniform, presence book, name card, x-banner, table calendar, and web design. Through this branding concept, the branding design was created in accordance with design layout technique, appropriate media concept and the design concept that conceive the branding design applications which are the primary and supporting/secondary media that also conceive creative strategies.   The branding design result for Gembira ECD produces several designs such as logo nameplate, flyer, id-card, company profile, folding-display desk, sports uniform, presence book, name card, x-banner, table calendar, and web design. Based on this branding concept, the author has invented the branding design that based on design layout technique, appropriate media concept and the design concept that conceive the branding design applications with creative strategies. The branding design was visualized in accordance with invention/creation concept through vector technique by using Coreldraw X7 software.
