Abstract

The stock market is a place to buy shares for profit. In Indonesia, energy stocks are highly unpredictable because global commodity prices change constantly. This study examines what affected energy stock returns in 2024, focusing on trading volume, price swings, company profits, and cash flow. Using financial reports and statistical analysis, all these factors were tested together and individually. The results show that combined, all these factors do affect stock returns. However, when looked at one by one, only the company's net profit truly matters to investors. On the other hand, busy trading, daily price swings, and cash flow have no impact at all. In fact, all the factors studied only account for 14% of stock return movements, while the remaining 86% is driven by other outside forces. In conclusion, for those looking to invest in energy stocks, the most important thing to watch is the company's ability to generate net profit, rather than just looking at how busy daily transactions are in the market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital experience and customer experience on passenger loyalty on the Progo Train route, Pasar Senen–Lempuyangan. The increasing digitalization of public transportation services through the Access by KAI application has highlighted the importance of examining the quality of digital experience and customer experience in maintaining passenger loyalty. The study employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. Data were collected from 150 respondents through a questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software (Ringle et al., 2024). The results of the outer model evaluation showed that all indicators had outer loadings > 0.70, Average Variance Extracted (AVE) > 0.50, Composite Reliability (CR) and Cronbach's alpha > 0.70, thus all constructs were declared valid and reliable. The inner model test shows that digital experience has a positive and significant effect on passenger loyalty (β = 0.192; T = 2.237; p = 0.025). Customer experience also has a positive and significant effect on passenger loyalty (β = 0.243; T = 3.268; p = 0.001). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.133 indicates that both variables explain 13.3% of the variance in passenger loyalty. The customer experience variable has a more dominant influence than digital experience on Progo Train passenger loyalty.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Financial Distress, and Altman Z-Score on Dividend Decisions in automotive sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020–2025 period. This study is motivated by fluctuations in the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) in the automotive sector, which indicates changes in company dividend policy due to economic conditions, financial performance, and non-financial factors that influence management decision-making. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a causal associative research type to examine the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The study population consists of automotive sector companies listed on the IDX, while the sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique based on certain criteria. Research data were obtained from annual reports and company financial statements for the 2020–2025 period. Data analysis was carried out using the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) as a proxy for dividend decisions and statistical testing to determine the effect of CSR, Financial Distress, and Altman Z-Score on company dividend, the data were processed using SPSS.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the level of influence of job description and workload on the job satisfaction of monthly contract employees at PT Multi Garmenjaya. Through a cross-sectional survey method, this study applies a descriptive and associative research design. The data collection was carried out through the distribution of a combination of online (Google Form) and offline (print questionnaire) questionnaires to 87 respondents who were selected as a sample of the entire population totaling 677 monthly contract employees. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that the position description variable had a positive and partially significant influence on employee job satisfaction, with a calculated t-value of 5.529 and a significance level of 0.0000. On the other hand, the workload variable was also found to show a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction partially, with a calculated t value of 1.327 and a significance value of 0.188. When tested simultaneously, the two independent variables were proven to have a significant effect on the job satisfaction of contract employees, with an F score of 27.772 and a significance value of 0.0000. As for the Adjusted R Square value, a value of 0.384 was obtained. This figure means that the ability of the variable job description and workload in explaining the ups and downs of the job satisfaction of PT Multi Garmenjaya's monthly contract employees is 38.4%. Meanwhile, the other percentage, which is 61.6%, is influenced by other factors or variables that are not studied and studied in this research model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the USD/CNY exchange rate and the Federal Reserve interest rate on the stock returns of Volkswagen AG. Volkswagen AG is chosen as the object of analysis because it is a multinational corporation with significant exposure to the Chinese market, making it highly sensitive to fluctuations in global economic conditions, particularly exchange rate movements and monetary policy changes. The study adopts a quantitative research approach using multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationships between variables. The data used are monthly secondary data covering the period from 2017 to 2023, resulting in 84 observations. The dependent variable in this study is Volkswagen AG stock returns, while the independent variables consist of the USD/CNY exchange rate and the Federal Funds Rate. The empirical results show that the USD/CNY exchange rate has a negative and statistically significant effect on Volkswagen AG stock returns, indicating that currency depreciation or appreciation plays a crucial role in influencing investor sentiment and firm valuation. In contrast, the Federal Funds Rate does not show a statistically significant effect on stock returns during the observed period. However, the simultaneous test indicates that both variables jointly have a significant influence on Volkswagen AG stock returns. Overall, the findings suggest that exchange rate risk is more dominant than U.S. monetary policy in affecting the stock performance of Volkswagen AG over the study period.

Abstract

Abstract. Competition conditions in the business world are currently increasingly tight, one of the products that must remain viable is ice tea products.. This research aims to find out how much influence Brand Equity, Brand Trust and Brand Experience have on customer loyalty for Juragan ice in the city of Semarang. The sampling method uses the Probability Sampling Technique with a purposive sampling method using the Slovin formula calculation. The population in this research is Juragan ice users in the city of Semarang, with a sample of 100 respondents and with Likert scale measurements. The analysis in this research was processed using SPSS software.The results of the research can be concluded that Brand Equity has an influence on customer loyalty for Juragan ice products with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and t count 20.433 > t table 1.966, Brand Trust has an influence on customer loyalty for Juragan ice products with a value of 0.000 < 0, 05 and t count 3.663 > t table 1.966, and Brand Experience has an influence on customer loyalty for Juragan ice products with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 and t count 14.424 > t table 1.966. The research results also show that the results of the model feasibility test (f test) have a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that this test is feasible. This shows that the Juragan ice brand is trusted by the public because its quality is good.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of servant leadership on the performance of Village Apparatus in Gemuh District, Kendal Regency. To determine the effect of career development on the performance of Village Apparatus in Gemuh District, Kendal Regency. To determine the effect of organizational commitment on the performance of Village Apparatus in Gemuh District, Kendal Regency. The population in this study was Village Apparatus in Gemuh District, Kendal Regency. Sampling using accidental sampling technique, namely determining the number of samples by taking randomly by giving equal opportunity to the existing population to be sampled. The number of samples obtained was 82 respondents. The data used were primary data using questionnaires. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Village Apparatus in Gemuh District, Kendal Regency. Career development has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Village Apparatus in Gemuh District, Kendal Regency. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Village Apparatus in Gemuh District, Kendal Regency.
