Abstract

As a Muslim, the most important worship is prayer, because prayer is the pillar of religion, of course it is customary to carry out prayer services, especially the five daily prayers, which must be started early, because at this age children are able to absorb and know the information that they can get around, to it really needs to be instilled with good religious values so that one day they will have good habits and character as well. The phenomenon that occurs in today's society is generally that children are reluctant to carry out congregational prayers at the nearest mosque or musholla on the pretext of their young age, even though at a young age they need to be taught about correct worship practices according to the Prophet's syari'ah. So that this is a form of concern and contribution for our students by holding a program which has the aim of fostering the enthusiasm of children in carrying out worship, especially congregational prayers at the nearest mosque or musholla so that they can form children into personal character and have good morals.

Abstract

The development of Islamic education in Indonesia is marked by the emergence of modern Madrasahs as a whole. This was motivated by parents' anxiety due to the lack of appropriate religious instruction for children in formal schools. So to date, the Madrasah Diniyah Educational Institution is still surviving, even though it still receives little attention from the government, both in terms of budget and personnel. Through the thematic KKN team, the service team carries out service in the Indramayu kidul direction. Before implementing the KKN, the service team of KKN participants conducted field observations to see what potential had to be developed and what things the service team of KKN participants had to do in the future. The potential that we can develop is also explored through interviews with the RW Chair, Residents, IRMA and MDTA Chair. Next, we conducted a survey in several places to find out which places we could use as a place to implement the work program that we had prepared. Next, we immediately implemented the work program that we had planned which included: Teaching the Koran for Madrasah children), Mothers' Recitation in the Mosque, Fathers' Recitation in the Mosque, Children's Maghrib Recitation (Tahfidz Guidance) in the Mosque, JUMSIH Activities ( Clean Friday) at the Mosque. This KKN service method uses a qualitative method. After implementing this KKN, the community, especially IRMA, was helped because of the lack of lecturers in the South direction and the lack of Human Resources for JUMSIH activities, and other results obtained were many children who were more fluent in reading Iqro and Al-Quran.

Abstract

Basically the application of the Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKNT) system that has been implemented has an important influence on education, one of which is Islamic Religious Learning in Elementary Schools and other levels of Education. Learning Aqidah Akhlak is very important because later it will shape the attitude, behavior and identity of a child because high moral formation is the main goal in Islamic education. And talking about coaching issues is the same as talking about the goals of Islamic education. Coaching is an activity to maintain and perfect what already exists and is done repeatedly. Moral development must also be given to children from an early age and must be carried out by related parties such as parents, educational institutions, the government and other parties continuously so that they can have noble morals as exemplified by Rasulullah SAW and be able to stay away from bad morals. bad. Therefore, Islamic Religious Education teachers are required to provide role models and always pay attention to students both in terms of knowledge, attitude and behavior as well as worship skills to realize students who have noble character in accordance with the Islamic religion.

Abstract

Nutrition is the science that studies the link between food and health, and is mainly focused on the role of nutrients in human growth, development, and maintenance. Healthy nutrition involves maintaining a nutritional condition that enables individuals to grow and maintain excellent health. The school age, which ranges from 6 to 12 years old, is a crucial period for physical growth and intellectual development in children. The socioeconomic status of families, social well-being, and health care system proficiency of communities, as well as the environmental impact, are important factors that affect child health. Viewing malnutrition as an issue in human ecology provides a range of approaches for prevention. The objective of this study was to evaluate the nutritional status of school-age children whose mothers were employed or unemployed and attending selected schools in Nepalgunj, Banke. A descriptive comparative research design was employed for the study, and stratified random sampling was used to select 120 students from Nepalgunj, Banke. Data were collected using a self-developed structured questionnaire. The study results showed that children with underweight (51.6%) were more prevalent among employed mothers' children than unemployed mothers' children (20%). However, children with normal weight (43.3%) were more prevalent among children of unemployed mothers than employed mothers (25%). An association was found between school type and maternal employment status with children's body mass index (BMI), and the P-values were <0.001 and <0.02, respectively. The nutritional status of children is a crucial factor for their growth and development. This study indicated that underweight was more prevalent among children of employed mothers, and children of unemployed mothers had a normal weight. Maternal employment status and school types, such as public and private schools, were associated with children's BMI. These factors should be considered while designing interventions to enhance children's nutritional status.
