Abstract

This article explores the philosophical views and social concepts of Yusuf Has Hajib, a significant thinker from the medieval period, whose ideas remain relevant to addressing contemporary societal challenges. His socio-philosophical framework centred on harmony, compromise, and solidarity, offering timeless solutions for political, economic, and social issues. By analysing Hajib's ideas, this study connects his philosophy with modern debates on governance, human dignity, and social justice. Yusuf's emphasis on fairness, the role of leaders, and the need for mutual respect across social strata highlights his forward-thinking approach. His work, particularly Kutadgu Bilig, offers insights into creating an ideal society based on justice and humanity. Furthermore, the research draws parallels between Hajib's thoughts and modern legal, political, and religious discussions in Uzbekistan, illustrating the enduring influence of his wisdom in fostering unity, addressing social inequality, and shaping the national ethos. The article underscores the relevance of philosophical heritage in contemporary reforms and policies, particularly in advancing human dignity, governance, and social harmony.

Abstract

The proposed article is devoted to the theoretical understanding of the concept of monodrama. The main attention is paid to clarifying the features of the development of the action in the monodrama, as well as the specific features of its plot and chronotope. Based on this, the question of the organic presence of monodrama within drama as a kind of literature is solved. In the article, we come to the conclusion that the concept of catastrophe as an important structural element of a dramatic action can also be applied to monodrama. However, this catastrophe occurs not in the external world, but within the consciousness of the central character, and becomes not an object of joint observation (from the point of view of "witness and judge") from the audience (as in a non-monodramatic play). It is directly constructed "here and now" (in "true sympathy") and in the recipient's own mind, inevitably leading to provocative, simultaneous with the hero, "reforming" his system of life values.

Abstract

This study explores the use of perlocutionary speech acts by presidential candidates during the 2024 presidential debate, focusing on the types employed, their frequency, and how cultural backgrounds influence interpretation. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the research analyzed the third segment of the first 2024 debate, aired on December 12, 2023. The findings identified 24 instances of perlocutionary speech acts, including actions such as embarrassing, irritating, persuading, attracting attention, deceiving, and encouraging. These acts demonstrate the strategic use of language to achieve specific effects on the audience. Moreover, the study highlights that cultural values, ethnic backgrounds, and political experiences significantly shape candidates' interpretations and responses to these speech acts. The research provides insights into the interplay between language use and cultural influences in political communication, offering a deeper understanding of rhetorical strategies in high-stakes political discourse

Abstract

The article emphasizes that today, when the processes of integration and globalization in the social, economic, and spiritual spheres are intensifying in the world, special attention should be paid to analyzing the problems accumulated in the directions of societal modernization, developing conceptual models, and analyzing them. The political and philosophical analysis of democratic development processes and the improvement of its management system. In the transition period, the exchange of political systems described in scientific sources considers three development models, the goal of modernization. In the second half of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, new views were expressed on the content and significance of the concept of modernization. Political modernization is a complex process. In it, social-economic, political-legal and socio-cultural spheres are interconnected, give content to each other, and if there is a rift between them, then modernization will not increase if it is not fully realized. It has been deeply analyzed that if the incomes of social strata in society are sharply differentiated, effective economic growth will not be achieved, if a perfect personality with a cultural level is not formed, market structures will not be formed, if civil society institutions are not developed, democratic values will not be developed.
