Abstract

Introduction: Malnutrition is a nutritional problem caused by lack of nutrition all intake both in the short and long term, generally determined by the type of nutrient less consumed by toddlers. The problem of undernutrition can be overcome by means of feeding and health practices for toddlers with the aim of restoring and improving nutrition and forming eating habits of toddlers in adulthood. Method: The type of research used in this study is a quantitative study, namely pre-experimental with a two group pretest-posttest design, with a total sample of 67 toddlers, 35 toddlers tumpi tuna samples and 32 toddler MT biscuit samples carried out for 4 weeks, using an independent t-test. Result: The tumpi tuna group had a greater weight gain than the MT biscuit group for toddlers. Conclusion: Looking at the average increase in body weight of toddlers, giving tumpi tuna isbetter for increasing toddlers' weight than giving MT biscuits to toddlers.

Abstract

Introduction: Counseling is an educational activity carried out by giving messages, instilling confidence, so that people are not only aware, know and understand but are also willing and able to make recommendations that have to do with health. Health education is a combination of various activities and opportunities based on learning principles to achieve a situation where individuals, families, groups, or society as a whole want to live healthy, knowhow and do what can be done individually or in groups and receive help. Method: This research is a quantitative research type with a pre-experimental design. This research will be carried out at Hidayatullah Islamic Elementary School and Al-Fath Islamic Boarding School Kendari City. The population is Hidayatullah Islamic Elementary School students, Kendari City, totaling 86 students and Pesantren Al-Fath Kendari totaling 58 students, so the population in this study was 144. Result: The results of this study using Mann-Whitney test showed that the effect of counselingon student’s knowledge (p-value = 0,007< 0,05). The effect of counseling on student’s attitudes (p-value = 0,000< 0,05). The effect of counseling on student’s and actions (p-value = 0,020< 0,05). Conclusion: There were differences effect of counseling using combination methods of lectures, discussions, practices, and role models on students' knowledge, attitudes, and actionsin preventing caries of the permanent first molars at Hidayatullah Islamic Elementary School Kendari.

Abstract

Introduction: Dental and oral health is an essential element of a person's physical and mental health and well-being. Dental and oral health can describe physiological, psychological and social conditions, and play an important role in the quality of life. Dental and oral health education activities can increase a person's awareness to use dental and oral health services so as to reduce the severity of dental and oral diseases. Method: This research is a quantitative research type with a pre-experimental design. This research will be conducted in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Asy-Syati;iyah and Baitul Quran Kendari. The population in this study were students of Madrasah Tsanawiah Asy-Syati'iyah and Baitul Quran, totaling 128 students Result: The results of this study indicate the effect of dental and oral health education with animated video media on tooth brushing behavior in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Asy-Syati'iyah. There is an effect of dental and oral health education with props (phantom) on the behavior of brushing teeth in Baitul Quran Kendari. It was concluded that there were differences in the effect of dental and oral health education with animated video media and visual aids (phantom) on tooth brushing behavior in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Asy-Syati'iyah and Baitul Quran Kendari with p value 0.0012 (p <0.05). Conclusion: Suggestions in this study are expected to the education office to increase students' knowledge in maintaining dental and oral health.

Abstract

136 Introduction: Infection of the airways is a common disease in the community. Most respiratory infections are caused by infections, but can also be caused by installation of organic materials or chemical vapors and inhalation of dust materials containing allergens. The main effects of dust on workers are both acute lung disorders and chronic physiological dysfunction, eye irritation, sensory irritation, and accumulation of harmful substances in the body. This study is intended to find out the rigors of antibiotics in cases of non-pneumonia airway infection disease in the working area of health center "X" in the mining area of PT. Antam Tbk Pomalaa Subdistrict June-December 2021 period. Method: Data retrieval is done descriptively by taking secondary data in the health center "X" mining area pt. Antam Tbk Pomalaa Subdistrict. The maximum value of antibiotics in ARI non-pneumonia disease is the maximum limit set by the health department, which is 20%. Result: The study there were 230 patients affected by non-pneumonia ARI disease in health center "X" mining area PT. Antam Tbk Pomalaa Subdistrict. Conclusion: The use of antibiotics in ARI non-pneumonia in health center "X" Pomalaa subdistrict is rational.

Abstract

Introduction: Mining activities carried out by PT. X is very detrimental to the environment of residents in Village X. Due to the activities of the nickel mining company, people's rice fields in several villages in Tinanggea District, especially Village X are polluted with mud so that rice growth is hampered and often fails harvest. Method: This type of research is descriptive and quantitative. Samples data was 30 people in X Village Tinanggea District. The data that has been collected in the study were analyzed descriptively. Result: The results of this study are community knowledge that mining activities are a response to community responses, namely (93.3%), community knowledge that activities that arise from these responses are informants (93.3%) and Nickel mining in Village X does not cause health problems with a response in the form of (56.7%). Conclusion: Nickel mining activities have positive impacts, such as: increasing ROI from the mining sector, creating job opportunities, and opening up areas from isolation. Nickel mining activities have a negative impact. Such as the occurrence of environmental damage, like river water becoming blurry and colored and dirty,air pollution, and changes in community behavior.

Abstract

145 Introduction: Based on December 2021 data, the Public Health Center with the lowest COVID-19 vaccination coverage for the elderly was Unaaha Health Center which had a target of 2088 elderly people who had to be vaccinated with the coverage of the first dose of vaccination only 277 (16.1%) and the second dose of 119 vaccination (6,9%). This is what attracted researchers to conduct research on the Effect of Counseling on Changes in Attitudes and Actions in Conducting Covid-19 Vaccinations in the Elderly at the Unaaha Health Center, Konawe Regency. Method: This type of research is Pre Experiment, the research design that will be used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design.This research was conducted in the working area of the Unaaha Public Health Center, Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, carried out in March 2022. While the sample used was 92 respondents. Result: Based on statistical tests, it is known that the exact sig (2-tailed) value shows a value of 0.000 <0.05 which means that there is a significant effect of counseling with the simulation method on changes in the attitude of the elderly and the exact sig (2-tailed) value shows a value of 0.000 <0.05 which means This means that there is a significant effect of counseling with the simulation method on changes in the actions of the elderly in carrying out Covid-19 vaccinations in the work area of the Unaaha Health Center. Conclusion: There is a significant effect between counseling with the simulation method on changes in the attitudes and actions of the elderly in carrying out Covid-19 vaccinations in the work area of ​​the Unaaha Health Center.

Abstract

Introduction: In Indonesia, the number of cases of disease events continues to increase every year, there is no increase in PT. Virtue Dragon Nickel Industry that is one of the largest industries in Southeast Sulawesi Province where the number of cases of occupational diseases also continues to increase. Method: Research using a cross-sectional research design. The research location is at PT. Virtue Dragon Nickel Industry Mega industrial area of Konawe district. The sample in this study was 100 employees who worked especially in the smelter unit. To find out the relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variable, it was carried out using the Chi-Square test with a significant level (α= 0.05). Result: This study shows that There is a significant relationship between working hours and the incidence of occupational diseases in employees of PT. Virtue Dragon Nickel Industry p-value = 0.000. There is a relationship between noise and the incidence of occupational diseases in employees of PT. Virtue Dragon Nickel Industry p-value=0.000. Conclusion: Working hours and noice have a relationship with the incidence of occupational diseases at PT. The Dragon of Virtue Nickel Industry.

Abstract

Introduction: Community-based total sanitation is a strategy for involving the community in sanitation programs that are carried out to change sustainable hygienic and sanitary behavior. The coastal area of Konawe Kepulauan Regency ranks the 2nd lowest in the implementation of Community-based total sanitation. The purpose of this study was to determine the cause of the low community-based total sanitation Stop Open Defecation and Management of Household Waste in the Coastal Area of Konawe Islands Regency. Method: This type of research uses qualitative research, a phenomenological approach. Informants consist of key informants as many as 5 people, regular informants 7 people, and people residing in the area of Langara and Lansilowo Health Center. Snowball sampling technique and data analysis using data reduction, data display, and data conclusion techniques. Result: The results showed thatthere are still many people who have not implemented stop defecation due to a lack of knowledge, housing conditions in coastal areas, lack of latrines, habituation, and the economy. The community does not dispose of waste in its place due to several factors, namely the absence of a temporary disposal site and final disposal site. Conclusion: The phenomenon that causes people not to apply community-based total sanitation in the Coastal Area of Konawe Islands Regency is due to a lack of community knowledge, economic factors, lack of facilities or infrastructure, and also a habitual factor so that they have not implemented Community-based total sanitation on the coast of Konawe Islands Regency

Abstract

Introduction: Based on the 2019 of Regional Health Research, the early detection of cancer that has been carried out is the early detection of cervical cancer using the IVA method (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid), which shows a decrease in IVA detection in each public health center and is still far from the national target of 100%. East Kolaka District is the area with the second lowest IVA examination rate at 0.08% while the first lowest IVA examination area is in Konawe District at 0.04% from 17 districts. Method: This type of research is experimental research, a pre-experimental design with Four Groups Pretest-Posttest research design, was used to examine the role of the counseling media to the knowledge, attitudes and actions of women childbearing age in the IVA examination in East Kolaka District. The sample size of the respondents was 186 people. Result: The Role models, FGDs, leaflets and whatsapp application had an effect on knowledge, attitudes and actions in the IVA examination in East Kolaka District. Conclusion: Looking at the average increase in the result shows that whatsapp media was more effective in increasing knowledge, attitudes and actions than the other three media.

Abstract

Introduction: The Konawe Regency Government has unilaterally terminated the cooperation program with the Social Security Administrator which has been covering health insurance for the poor in Konawe. The Konawe local government has stopped paying premiums to the Health Insurance Agency for the Konawe community with Family Card holders and the health insurance status of family card holders is unclear until now and Family Card participants are no longer able to use family cards to get health insurance either at the health center or other health facilities. Based on this, the researcher wants to analyze the implementation of the National Health Insurance Program related to health services based on the aspect of resources in Konawe Regency. Method: Types of research is qualitative research using a case study approach. In this study, the researcher acts as the main research instrument. Key informants and regular informants as supporting instruments totaling 12 people. Result: In the interview, it was stated that based on our workload analysis, it was sufficient, including the existing health workers, namely 2 (two) general practitioners, 1 (one) dentist, 40 (forty) nurses, 30 (thirty) midwives, 2 (two) analysts people and 15 (fifteen) public health workers. Conclusion: The availability of health workers in 5 (five) public health center is not sufficient. Of the five health centers that became the object of research, there is still one health center that does not yet have a general practitioner.
