Abstract

Management information system (MIS) evaluation is an important process for assessing effectiveness and efficiency in organizational decision making. This research identifies criteria such as information quality, user satisfaction, system integration, and performance impact. Evaluation methods used include user surveys, system performance analysis, and case studies. Results show that these criteria and methods complement each other, provide deep insight into the strengths and weaknesses of MIS, and permit the development of MIS that is more responsive to user needs and dynamic organizational environments.

Abstract

This research aims to implement diorama media in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning to increase student creativity at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Miftahul Huda Lodan. The approach used is a design research method, which involves the development and repeated testing of the use of dioramas as a learning tool. This research was carried out through several stages, namely: problem identification, diorama design, implementation, evaluation and revision based on feedback from teachers and students. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and assessing student creativity before and after the intervention. The research results show that the use of dioramas significantly increases student involvement and creativity in the learning process, especially in critical thinking, imagination and problem solving skills. Thus, diorama media has proven to be effective as an innovative learning tool to increase student creativity in science classes.

Abstract

Cloud-based Management Information Systems (MIS) are becoming increasingly popular solutions for multinational companies, thanks to their ability to store, manage and access data in real-time. This research aims to evaluate the success of cloud-based SIM implementation, focusing on technical, managerial and organizational aspects, as well as the challenges faced during the implementation process. The research method used is a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches, with data collection through surveys and in-depth interviews with 50 multinational companies and 10 managers from IT and operational divisions. It is hoped that the research results will provide insight into the factors that influence the successful implementation of cloud-based SIM and offer recommendations for increasing the effectiveness of these systems in multinational companies.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a website-based personnel information system at the North Sumatra Regional Finance and Asset Agency to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of personnel data management. This information system is designed to overcome various problems that often arise in manual data management, such as data duplication, delays in information processing, and difficulty in accessing fast and accurate data. The method used in this waterfall method research includes needs analysis, system design, development, and system testing. The resulting system has main features, namely management of employee personal data, work history, absence, performance assessment, and career development information. This website-based system allows related parties to access and manage personnel data in real-time, increasing ease in monitoring performance and personnel administration processes. The test results show that this system is able to improve the efficiency of personnel data management and minimize errors that occur in manual data processing. The implementation of this website-based personnel information system is expected to support the improvement of the performance of the North Sumatra Regional Finance and Asset Agency as a whole.

Abstract

Education has become one of the fields that has taken maximum advantage of the Information Technology paradigm, especially in the current digital era. specifically explores the historical path that information technology in learning has taken to get to where it is today and what it portends for learning in the 21st century. By examining the evolution from traditional educational media to internet-based instruction and learning and cloud-based 'virtual' learning environments, this article argues that information technology has changed modes of learning, increased accessibility of resources, and personalized instruction for the better. it goes on to discuss the next challenge: the 'new' digital divide issues that may emerge, and whether teachers can make productive use of the technology provided to them in their classrooms. Thus, this research hopes that readers will appreciate the importance of embracing technology in advancing more inclusive and dynamic learning innovations in this digital era.

Abstract

In this article, a technology and innovation perspective is used to see how creative industries develop information systems. Limited infrastructure and limited resources to the threat of rapid digitalization are some of the problems that burden the modern creative industry. However, there are great opportunities to increase productivity, efficiency and quality of creative products thanks to technological advances and innovation. In addition, creative industry players can more easily collaborate and connect with markets around the world thanks to advances in the internet and contemporary technology. Although digitalization brings challenges such as tougher competition and cyber security threats, it also opens up larger markets through digital platforms such as social media and e-commerce. Ultimately, this article states that cooperation between government, the private sector and local communities is essential to maximize the potential of creative industries as the main driver of regional development.

Abstract

This article presents an in-depth analysis of ten expert opinions on competitive advantage, an essential concept in business strategy. Competitive advantage not only serves as a tool to differentiate a company from competitors, but also as a driver of innovation and sustainable growth. Through a qualitative approach, this research gathers views from experts in the fields of management and economics, highlighting key variables such as product differentiation, customer satisfaction, and adaptation to market changes. The findings show that companies that are able to integrate these various perspectives tend to be more successful in maintaining their market position. Thus, this article makes a significant contribution to the understanding of competitive advantage theory and its effectiveness in managerial practice, as well as offering strategic recommendations for business leaders in establishing policies that are responsive to industry dynamics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis distribusi proporsi dan nilai rata-rata penggunaan Instagram berdasarkan dataset publik. Data yang digunakan mencakup pola penggunaan mahasiswa dari berbagai kelompok usia dan durasi harian. Analisis menunjukkan mayoritas pengguna menghabiskan 1–3 jam per hari di Instagram, dengan kelompok usia 18–24 tahun sebagai pengguna dominan (60%). Nilai rata-rata waktu penggunaan mencapai 2,5 jam per hari, mencerminkan keterlibatan tinggi pada platform. Studi ini relevan untuk memahami perilaku digital mahasiswa, memberikan wawasan bagi peneliti dan pengembang aplikasi media sosial. Temuan ini juga menggarisbawahi pentingnya keseimbangan antara aktivitas digital dan produktivitas akademik.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of digital technology in increasing the efficiency of Shopee e-commerce transactions. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach from various sources relevant. The results of this research are that the presence of Shopee is becoming increasingly relevant along with the increasing use of digital technology in everyday life, especially in the context of e-commerce which allows people to carry out transactions without time and location limits. Abstract

The financial crisis in Indonesia during the late 1990s, particularly highlighted by the instance of the Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI), emerged as a main subject of this discussion. This article investigates different facets concerning the crisis, covering everything from its origins to its effects on the economy and banking operations. Elements like corruption, flaws in financial oversight, and lenient monetary policies are the primary concerns of this crisis analysis. The conversation also encompasses an assessment of law enforcement's efficacy, victim protection, and actions to combat and tackle corruption. The social and political effects of the BLBI case are also highlighted, particularly regarding its impact on economic stability and investor trust. Banking reform and financial regulation emerge as key priorities in reaction to this case. Various critical assessments of the banking system, law enforcement, and legal reform are performed to develop suitable policy suggestions.
